kitty I got pleather from h&m last year before buying leather. I do tend to only wear my leather ones at night, but I am a slob in the day :(
Ootd uniqlo therma wot zit in cream, green washout sweatshirt primark vb blue skinnies, probably pistols but haven't thought that far forward currently slippers and coffee...
shop my leather trousers are much matter (is that a word) than my pleathers which are very shiney.

Larastheme · 28/01/2016 09:10

shop Shock, I had a mini panic attack reading your posts, don't you ever do that again!

linus you made me just realise I've only wore my leather skinnies a few times too this year, I've worn them loads last year but not this winter,

I wash my cashmere, but never ever silk,
amber the equipment shirts are pre washed so they don't crinkle , I've mistakenly put a silk nightie in the wash and it got ruined, have only wore them a couple of time, Sad, it was a la perla sob!

Have returned my cardi coat today, love it but its too big for me ,made me feel short!
Can't wait to be in london again this evening, Will stay for a few days so will have time to visit my favourite hunts,

LinusLovesBretons · 28/01/2016 09:37

Shame about the cardi coat lara but at that price it has to be 100% perfect!

Soooo Envy about your weekend in London!

shop that's quite a compliment. Are you going to to a wardrobe edit for that other lady? Maybe a new career? Wink

Karcheer · 28/01/2016 09:58

lara I'm always ruining silk :(

sleepwhenidie · 28/01/2016 10:21

Now you guys are putting me off the Otherstories shirt!

Lara I think the right call with the cardi, it is beautiful but I agree, needs to be amazing to justify keeping - and probably would better suit someone v tall!

MarshaBrady · 28/01/2016 10:34

I've only git a couple of silk dresses, no silk shirts. I'm not sure they're for me.

Lara well done - something else even more perfect will turn up

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 28/01/2016 12:14

Hi all

sleep my sister has a silk shirt from &OS, it was really lovely silk so I say go for it!

I wash my Uniqlo silk in the machine on hand wash cycle, but have never with Equipment. It's probably silly, but if the silk has that sort of "furry", suedey feel, I think it's too nice to get wet.

Well done shop, glad it turned out for the best!

Lib I'm wearing the boots today :) bit casual but wanted to show them to work friends! Only one day to go, bet you can't wait.

Lara hope you find something else even more lovely.

Rest of OOTD is Atterley navy faux wrap skirt and Jaeger chocolate brown short sleeve jumper.

sleepwhenidie · 28/01/2016 12:43

OOTD is indigo skinny jeans, a slightly crazy merino sweater I picked up 70% off in the Anna sale (mine is navy though)with grey shearling pistols and a white enamel egg type pendant and white uniqlo heatech long sleeve T.

Today I am trying to put together a flyer and book a space for me to run my first body image workshop !!

HappyGirlNow · 28/01/2016 13:23

I just bought these leather Mango trousers but my intention is to wear them casually with flat boots and a big knit.. I am not sure for dress up - maybe with flats (which would probably rule them out of a lot of occasions as I do like heels) - I think with heels there's a risk it could all look a bit dated...

KittyHello · 28/01/2016 13:49

Great price for leather trousers Happy interesting to hear how you all wear them. Think I'd wear them for going out but not sure I have suitable footwear. May look for a pleather pay to try out.

Sleep good luck, that workshop sounds really interesting.

Lara good call, at that price it has to be perfect. I'm sure something better will come along.

Shop that's a good way to build up, slowly but surely and word of mouth. Well done

Ootd a work day today so charcoal Uniqlo ankle grazer trousers, heather baltic JCrew Tippi tucked in, black LKB Florissa court shoes, red Max Mara coat, large, black Le Pliage.

Cranagh · 28/01/2016 13:54

Glad your leather jeans turned out well, Shop. You were brave.

I machine wash cold my Equipment shirts, they turn out fine. Have ruined lots of cashmere though.

I have just posted these ones back to Boden, great price but they were a bit too big and didn't look right.

Enjoy London, Lara.

Stokey · 28/01/2016 14:16

I have a black silk &OS dress Sleep - think I was wearing it at MU we met at last summer - I've only had it tumble dried but it's lasted well.

If you ever want to ditch your leather leggings Dry or Linus, PM me! I was just at the Hush sample sale but all the leather leggings had gone _ despite getting in 20 mins after it started!

Still I picked up a decent haul: 3 dresses including scoop aubergine one and a black everyday one, a pink top, a grey chunky jumper and one of their thin grey star ones, a couple of white tees, some leggings and some pjs. Quite a lot to buy at one time but should all be stuff I'll wear.

QueenC · 28/01/2016 14:34

Hello. I only have on silk top and I think i put that in the machine on a silk setting.
shop it must be the dramatic in you that can comfortably wear leather trousers. There's no way I could look good in them but part of that is I always imagine them to be sweaty and I always think of that friends episode with Ross!! Well done on the recommendation.
lara right decision I think to return it. As someone else said there'll be something better alng. Enjoy London.

Ootd is Jaegar navy dress with navy tights (that are driving me mad as they keep falling down) and navy loafers.

Dreamqueen · 28/01/2016 14:37

Stokey was the hush salve very crowded? That looks like a good haul.

I'm thinking of going tomorrow but not sure if i can be bothered doing the journey. I've bought quite a lot of good bargains in their sale. (waiting for dlivery of them, hope they're keepers)

libertydoddle · 28/01/2016 14:55

Have a great time in London Lara.

Sleep, you'll be great! Sending positive vibes for lots of bookings, I'll come to one when I get back from hols. I have an AOS silk shirt and I'm not that happy with it. The sleeves felt clingy when I bent my arms so then I decided to chop them off as I mainly wear it layered under sweaters and cardigans. But it always feels like the silk is sticking to me and full of static while my Uniqlo one feels flowy and cool on my skin. But I am prone to developing intense dislikes of clothing if it is anything less than 100% comfortable.

Shop well done on getting a recommendation. V best way of building a new business.

Great Hush haul stokey guess you are not doing the 10 items in a year challenge then Wink

Happy those Mango leather trousers look great. Interesting hearing how leather leggings / trousers divide opinion. I love the idea of them but I think they are too edgy for me. Really love my leather skirt though, I could happily wear that every day.

Blair I have had loads of compliments every time on those boots, they are a gratifying wear!

AmberNectarine · 28/01/2016 17:09

OOTD here is navy Zara polo neck, grey DKNY skinny trousers and navy leopard Jimmy Choo slipper flats. Black cashmere Calvin Klein coat and navy Gucci disco bag.

No jewellery whatsoever, soz Blingy!

FedupNagging · 28/01/2016 18:59

One so glad that Onecat is on the mend.

I love your jumper today Sleep - whole outfit sounds great. Good luck for the course.

Phew! Shop glad the leather trousers made it through their ordeal! Sounds like you have a new career in the making.

I tried a few pairs of leather and pleather trousers last winter but just wasn't keen mostly because I felt hot and bothered by the time I'd got them on!

Stokey great Hush purchases. The aubergine is such a lovely colour.

Ootd is faded maison scotch skinny jeans and grey Jaeger polo neck and jalouse boots.

Has anyone bothered to dye their jeans? How did it go/long did it last? My maison scotch jeans are a great fit with lots of wear left in them but I dislike the fade so don't wear them very often but would if they were darker.

Karcheer · 28/01/2016 19:51

fedup I once dyed a pair of jeans when I was a teenager. My mum wouldn't let me do them in her washing machine so I used a bowl in the garden, the shade was a bit off. Haha! I used to redye black stuff all the time when it faded a bit.

Oooooo not my style but Oooooo!

libertydoddle · 28/01/2016 20:45

Fedup I have dyed jeans using the Dylon jeans dye. It works well. Only thing is that the jeans come out all one shade which is fine if that's what you want but can look a bit 'flat' - does that make sense???

QueenC · 28/01/2016 20:49

Gorgeous karcheer.

fedup I've dyed black jeans black and although initially they look really good again they fade really quickly. I haven't tried the blue jean dye though.
amber when you say no jewellery do you mean no earrings, no wedding ring, nothing? Shock. If I say no jewellery it just means I haven't put any on but I literally live in my rings and earrings.

OP posts:
Karcheer · 28/01/2016 20:54

queenc I'm the same no jewellery for me means gold ball earrings, wedding and engagement ring and watch.
You are exactly right about the colour being flat, which is fine for black, also the blue I used way back then wasn't really a jean blue...even though it was called denim.

AmberNectarine · 28/01/2016 21:00

My wedding rings but nothing else. And I often forget to put those on!

QueenC · 28/01/2016 21:05

Love this hush jumper

OP posts:
Stokey · 28/01/2016 21:06

It wasn't too bad Dream queen. We were there for about an hour. I'd say it's worth it if you like their stuff but there was a lot more s/m and m/l than xs. And no harems this year.

Drywhitethanks · 28/01/2016 22:44

Amber bet you went sock less too. Long for the day I can get my ankles out and leave socks off for work.

Linus your leathers will look great worn with flats and one of your shirts. If I could find the perfect slouch roll neck
