Karcheer I think Blingy and QueenC have those shoes.

Dreamqueen · 29/01/2016 06:42

Thanks for info Stokey
prib won't go, it's a fairly long journey for me & I signed up for the 10 item challenge and unsigned very quickly from it. I'm already way over 10 items.

Karcheer · 29/01/2016 08:02

dry what sort of flats? I wear my leathers only with heels the pleathers look good with the marant Andrew boots.

Merriboo · 29/01/2016 10:33

Re-emerged from lurkdom in shock at Shop's bravery washing leathers, so glad it worked ok. I've read about it lots of times, Marissa Webb said to run them through a tumble to reshape or soak in warm water till saturated then tumble dry on high but I've never been brave enough to try.
I find them harder to style with flats in winter as they don't seem to work with biker boots and I'm too cold blooded for bare ankles. When it's warmer I tend to go with slip on skaters or trainers.

FedupNagging · 29/01/2016 10:37

Love that Hush jumper too Queen - perfect colours for winters.

I think I'll have a go a dying those jeans - I hadn't thought about the stitching but they would only be for everyday/dog walking use so its worth a go.

Quite a lot of Michael Kors on The Outnet today - this top would be good for work
Skirt - I like an exposed zip but know some of you don't.

Ootd is harem pants and breton (Next & Gap), no make up or jewellery - not very exciting but am off out tonight so will up my game later I promise!

AmberNectarine · 29/01/2016 11:08

I wear my leather leggings with stans, high tops, suede biker boots, suede western style boots. Most things really!

MarshaBrady · 29/01/2016 14:51

Hello, I just paid a big tax bill this week so I have a few things lingering in baskets that I haven't pressed buy on.

In better news I'm out tonight for dinner, can't wait.

What's everyone up to tonight/ this weekend?

AmberNectarine · 29/01/2016 15:07

Also out for dinner (just with DH). Quietish weekend planned as both had a mental week at work - getting my hair cut tomorrow and little else!

Have a couple of big nights lined up next week though Wink

maradesbois · 29/01/2016 16:04

Hi all,

Sleep workshop sounds interesting and exciting, good luck Smile

Marsha at least you've done your tax return unlike dh mr last minute panic can't find the code

Shop Shock but glad it worked out. I machine wash silk on the hand wash cycle when its starting to get old but not my equipment although dry cleaning shirts annoys me. Tried cashmere in machine with woolite but prefer to hand wash (which means it sits in the basket for weeks). Have never owned a tumble drier.

Stokey love Labyrinth too, remember seeing it when it first came out and being captivated. Bowie was made for that role.

Ootd is v school run mum, black skinnies marant boots and armor lux navy breton.

Doing last bit of work for today then home. Champagne in fridge for dh and I later, tomorrow will be spent running ds round to parties etc then need to work all day Sunday. Love my topic though so not too bothered.

HappyGirlNow · 29/01/2016 17:05

Can I have some opinions please?

What do you think of this French Connection dress? The under slip is quite short so concerned it might look a bit cheap but I don't think so.. It's for my husband's big birthday party.. I had a Self Portrait dress but returned it as wasn't sure about it.

LinusLovesBretons · 29/01/2016 17:46

Mmm not sure about that dress happy. I love lace but I think the fishnet detail and the split are a bit OTT.

Forgot to say sleep, good luck with your workshop! I am sure it will be a success as you are so kind and knowledgeable.

mara sounds like you're busy but having a great time.

I do wash my cashmere jumpers on a cold cycle and with Ecover delicates detergent but I have never washed one of my Equipment shirts.

I just bought a silk Stella McCartney shirt in the sales and that will definitely be dry cleaning only as well.

KittyHello · 29/01/2016 18:03

I try and steer clear of anything that needs dry cleaning these days. Apart from coats. When cashmere gets a bit old I start to feel brave and put them in the machine.

Off out tonight for dinner with dh. Ootnight will be Whistles Black pleather A- line shirt with black Maje sweater and animal print heels. Will be taking a cab so will go bare legged Shock

shopafrolic · 29/01/2016 18:26

Not sure about that dress either Happy sorry

LinusLovesBretons · 29/01/2016 19:35

DH just came home from a business trip and he had bought me a bottle of Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge. Smile

It's not a recent TF scent but I only tried it a couple of weeks ago and mentioned to DH that I loved it and that I would have bought it if it wasn't so expensive

And he remembered and bought it in the airport when he left earlier this week Grin. He really is lovely. Smile

LinusLovesBretons · 29/01/2016 19:36

Strikethrough Fail!

Larastheme · 29/01/2016 20:57

Reporting back from my trip to Westfield Grin,
Start with the good: kidzania is absloutely brilliant, the dcs loved it ,they get to work jobs, and get paid for it,the supermarket and the hospital with tiny maternity ward was so cute, dd loved playing a nurse, but one visit is certainly not enough as there was a lot of jobs they didnt get to participate in ,we were there for almost. 5 hours ! Worth every penny,

Now the bad part, we were so hungry we wanted to have lunch and we got lost Sad, the dcs were tired and hungry dh and I started arguing, we ended eating at five guys ,So greasy with horrible orangey cheese, never again!

I'm off with a friend tomorrow for lunch at kings road then selfridges, yay!!

happy sorry, its a no from me too,

linus that's very thoughtful of your dh Smile,

Longislandicetee · 29/01/2016 20:57

Hello!

Kitty and Karcheer, yes I have the silver Saint Laurent glitter shoes. Totally OTT and Love them!

Linus, luck you! my dh got home from a business trip tonight too. I didn't get anything.Hmm

FedUp, I thought about getting that top too last night. I didn't see the skirt but it's great!

Happy, I love lace dresses normally but that one didn't do it for me, sorry.

Waves to everyone else!

QueenC · 29/01/2016 21:13

happy I'm not sure either about the dress im afraid.
I have the topshop glitter shoes rather than the SL ones!
lara sounds great apart from the greasy cheese.
linus lovely present.

I've spent the whole day so uncomfortable. Ages ago I accidently bought high rise skinny jeans. I obviously didn't notice when trying them on and by time I had realised I'd removed all the labels. I just don't get on with and they've been sitting in the cupboard after being worn once or twice and I decided to give them another chance today. Never again.

As I don't have a gap code ive ordered some boden jeans to try. I could do with another pair of skinnies before going away at half term.

Karcheer · 30/01/2016 08:31

happy agree with the others, the dress is just trying yo do too much, it's a no from me I'm afraid.

Dh returned from a business trip too, and I got... A bag of dirty washing! Yah!

QueenC · 30/01/2016 08:53

I meant to say dry, I love that MD top. If the boden jeans are keepers I'll be up to nearly 10 items too Grin.

We're going away later for the night (en famille) so I'm going to do a bit of fantasy shopping now.....

Great to hear about Kidzania Lara, definitely on the to-do list. Maybe on an inset day so we avoid the crowds. My Dds are 6 and nearly 4, would that be too young? I do get annoyed by the quality of food at these "kids friendly" places. Giraffe is over priced and greasy too.

Dh got me some Clinique moisture surge cream on his trip this week. I asked him why he chose that, and he said I just told the lady you had freckles and that's what she recommended! It feels a bit oily for me to be honest but I'll try it for a couple of days. Hope everyone had nice date nights. Quiet weekend for us, just taking kids to various parties.

QueenC · 30/01/2016 09:01
