Bought another item in the sales today - not going to 'fess up until I decide if I am keeping or not

My fashion fault is not always doing my hair properly - the shorter style should make this easier though. And I also priortise comfort over style when choosing my footwear for the day.

I have decided on my style resolution for 2016 (drum roll) - starting today (so yes it includes today's purchase) I am only going to buy 10 items for the whole of 2016. I am hoping that the phrase 'is it good enough to be one of the 10?' will inspire me to only buy things that are absolutely perfect.

MBMJ bag arrived and I can't return it as it is perfect, 50/50s arrived, ditto, and I ordered this scarf. No shopping until my birthday now and I mean it. This time.

My purchase today was these LKB boots in Chestnut. I have tried them out with various dresses and skirts and they meet the 'perfect' criteria. Definite keepers. In fact, I plan to wear them tomorrow

My fashion fault is wearing boring nude undies when I have drawer full of lovely stuff, because it just goes under everything. I'm all about the outside am making more of an effort to wear the nice stuff day to day

I was much happier with today's ootd: plum Me&Em dress, stone coloured loose H&M Cardigan, plum, pink, black and stone silk scarf, black opaques and Pistols, pearls, trench and conker tote handbag. A black handbag would have made more sense but I wanted to use that one and I thought it looked OK.

My fashion fault is taking too long to replace socks and hosiery - most of my black opaques are knobbly around the feet and only fit to be worn inside boots.

Lovely outfit, Topaz. You have reminded me of another fashion fault - holes in my socks!

Hello! Have done much resting today. In between having to lay down the law to dd and ds wanting to look after me, it's been good. I hope Vegas is okay.

I love Blairs MK dress but put off by the fact that it's black and so a bit sensible! I did hover over the add to basket though.I like Ambers new black dress too.

my fashion fault?oh god, i have so many of them, chipped nail polish, hardly wearing make up, not bothering with my hair, random outfit combos that make my dsis wince.....i could go on but on the plus side, i always have decent underwear, tights and my socks never have holes probably because i have SO many socks

practical assignment done today so just got to wait for grading, obviously wore my lucky pants so i'm hoping for a pass! hope the time i spent til 2am last night cutting and sticking things for my textural element were worthwhile, i am still finding bits of superglue on me right when i think ive got them all

My fashion fault is never leaving enough time to get ready. For work, going out, anything, ever. My ability to dick about and waste time is unsurpassed. Then I panic, dowse myself in dry shampoo and leave a clothes hurricane to come home to.

I also wear very boring underwear - the same M&S thongs and bras every day. I have lots of pretty things but j prefer smooth lines and low maintenance, I've realised.

The Versace dress arrived and OMG, it is perfect. When I took it out of the box i thought 'dude, that is tiny', but actually it fits like a glove, so I'm very pleased. As of this month i'm doing a thing where I buy only one of each type thing per season, so this is my one 'going out dress', which is fine as it is literally made for me. Very happy.

OOTD - my fabulous new boots(have mental Paulo Nutini soundtrack going on and a spring in my step), black opaques, monsoon a-line, knee length autumn navy skirt, cream silk shirt, cashmere v neck Goat cardigan, leopard print scarf and rust coloured peacoat. V happy with every bit if this outfit and nicely toasty!

Going to see StarWars tonight, purely for DH, I have no interest - for those of you who are friends with me on FB take a look at my mate's synopsis of the story so far - very funny.
Boring outfit of Paige Jimmies, thermal socks, thermal vest, pink Boden cashmere sweater and grey snow boots. Too cold for anything more creative. DH leaves for the States on Monday :(

I bought a lovely navy dress in Cos yesterday. I wanted to do the link but thenrealised that I have no idea how to!
Cos has some lovely bargains at the moment.

Shop enjoy Star Wars, I wasn't fussed but it was really well done.

Lib would have loved to go to MU but it's dh birthday and have lots of daytime commitment that day, maybe next time!

My fashion fail is that I can be lazy especially on stay at home days and weekends and not bothering with nice clothes and jewellery.

Like amber ive realised I don't wear nice underwear and prefer just plain black or nude.

I did a H&M order last night, I hate ordering from them because they only deliver to residential addresses. But sometimes needs must.
Navy cashmere turtleneck and black jersey jacket. I tried the jacket on in white ages ago and really liked it, but left it because it was white.

In fairness I have a surprise little boy at home who had a hypo this morning so I had to keep him off. He has had lots to eat and is now right as rain and playing with his snap circuits and watching all the movies his sister doesn't like!

Out tonight with DH, was thinking of debuting the dress but slightly concerned about being cold. We'll see!

I am still here, signed off work as still unwell but getting better.
There are some awful bugs around this year, has knocked me for 6 and I've never been signed off work for anything other than surgery!
I have several deliveries from Hush and Massimo Dutti to open but haven't felt up to it, which isn't like me.
One thing I would like to try and get in what's left of the sales is some flat black riding boot style long boots, hear,y snapped some up in the Anna sale earlier this week but blinked and my size was gone! If anyone sees any,mp lease shout!

My fashion fails are endless: no nail varnish on fingers ever and hate pedis & manis, comfy shoes, battered bags, unstyled hair, very sparse make-up... What am I doing here?!

I've got a sapphire engagement ring Mara, I love the stone, it's got real depth and is a decent size. Dh sourced it first and then got someone in Hatton Gardens to set it.

OOTD brown knee length boots, brown woolly tights, denim pinafore over stripy tee and grey cashmere v-neck. I've barely worn my brown boots since having my colours done, but I'm do like them so made an effort to put them on today.
