-4c when I left the house this morning so I'm in boots today (with thermal socks) - even badasses have limits.

OOTD is black patent riding boots with gold buckles, black super skinny trousers, black star print shirt, black ribbed sweater and gold medallion. Usual outerwear.

How could I forget CT Amber??

OOTD same as yesterday with a different sweater! Uniqlo boxy fine knit merino in dark greeny brown. Working in a different location so I can get away with it. These trousers are very warm. I may wear them all week

So I am recovered and back at work today. Conversation with dd:
Me: mummy's taxi is here, love you, see you at bed time.
Dd: are you working in your office today mummy or flying to work
Me: no darling, I am taking the train to work.
Dd: okay then, why did I see your passport on your bed last night.
Me: . Okay so mummy is working in a different country today. See you at bedtime..

Ootd is Austin reed grey flannel trouser suit with pink and white striped Thomas Pink shirt. R&B suede shoe boots, red large Pashli bag, new CK bangle watch, Swarovski bangle with red crystals and citrine and diamond ring plus bling basics, Burberry coat and scarf with grey cashmere beret. Beige lace underwear set from Pour Moi.

As I got the Pashli out I suddenly thought "oh yes, I own a smaller one of these in black". I need a handbag room so I can see my handbags displayed!!

Have you not seen Magic Mike lib? Do we need to stage an intervention?

I watched a TV show with Rob Lowe in recently and reminded me of how hot he has always been - school girl crush at the fore - although he'd have to keep his republican mouth shut.

Haven't seen Magic Mike. I need a full pop culture intervention amber. I got completely shocked looks at work recently when I said I wouldn't be going to see Star wars and hadn't seen the original either.

Though that wasn't as bad as the day I was having a hair cut and the hairdresser said she had been to Basement Jaxx the night before and I asked her where that club was... She was a hilarious combination of and . I was so I have never gone back to that salon.

I failed on the no shopping front, I tried this Jigsaw top on before Christmas but didn't buy at full price. I saw it was half price yesterday and couldn't resist.

OOTD berry coloured Gap skinny minis, pale grey Jigsaw merino 3/4 sleeve boxy sweater, Paul Smith scarf, R and B tan Chelsea boots.

OOTD is a red and white tiny size polka dot tea dress with skinny black belt with a bow one it, black tights and black v neck cardigan. Navy and pink flamingo print hair scarf and star wars stormtrooper slippers. I've only been tot he corner shop today, have been indoors writing essays and tidyign up between sections

Where I work is dangerous as I'm near a few shops. I'd seen these shoes last week and loved them but was not paying £50 for a pair of spring shoes in this weather. Today they were half price so obviously came home with me!

Ootd was black cords and navy and black jigsaw jumper. Now in sweats to save my cords for next week (I find if I wear them around the house they get covered in carpet fluff).

Urgh! I cracked at 4pm and ditched my Fast.

So I am wearing my old Hush harem pants after ditching my R&B skinies as the waistband was a bit snug.

I am still wearing the APC MNV shirt I wore today but I might put on a tee soon to collapse on the sofa.

I only saw Magic Mike a couple of months ago after taping it on Film4 and I have to admit fast forwarding the actual stripclub bits as they were just too cringeworthy.

Oiled pecs and gyrating groins just don't do it for me but I did like Alex Pettyfer in that film.

These are the thermal socks I bought shop. I'm wearing them to commute this week and I think they actually look ok sticking out of my chelsea boots (I tuck the pink edges in!).

Lovely shoes QueenC. I know what you mean about shops near work - it'd be dangerous if I had any, luckily there are only 2 chain clothes shops near me, neither of which are my style (one's Mint Velvet).

Oh that's a shame. But how funny that we 3 all have them! I only bought them to get free delivery on some christmas presents :) I have to say, they didn't work when I had to wait 20 mins for my train this morning on a frozen platform. Fur boots probably would've!
