Lib sorry I can't make the MU, dh's birthday the following day so we're going out on Sat and I live too far out to pop in for an hour

Mara was in Decathlon the other week and noticed they had ski stuff including base layers there.

Queen hope dh is back to help you out. Looking after dc alone is exhausting work.

Blingy you're sounding a bit perkier, hope you're on the mend.

OOtd is gym wear complete with sports bra! Yesterday I bought some coloured underwear sets from the M&S sales rack, bras for £2.99 and knickers for £1.49, not colours I'd normally wear, a red set and lilac set but for that price I grabbed them.

Afternoon everyone. I went out this morning against dh's advice, thinking I was well enough to go out for an hour. Bad idea. Now back in bed.

I have been cooking all afternoon (Rick Stein's fish pie, adapted to my taste) and now I am enjoying an ice cold glass of Champagne.

It's maybe a bit early but I don't care.

So wish I could make the MU! I am in need of some frivolous S&B talk IRL.

I need some urgent help girls dh has been to selfridges today and got me this it's black and not really anything I'd find useful. So what shall I swap it for?

Just been for 2 hour walk up local landmark that is 1000ft so plenty of snow and somewhat chilly at the top!
Was relatively cosy in Marks thermal Leggings Underneath my running leggings, 2 pairs thermal socks, walking boots, thermal tee and furry lined parka from phase eight last year that is so toasty!
Hope eeveryone okay in the cold.

Sorry won't be able to make the mu again this time. Have my belated birthday lunch on that day which I did try to rearrange but couldn't then get everyone together until March! Hopefully next time though

linus that's lovely but I don't know how well it would survive dog walks. I'm sure I can get a store credit so could use it for anything in selfridges really.

Linus DS was at a party this afternoon so DH and I hit the wine and had some 'quality time' before he leaves tomorrow. Clinks glass.

Aagh, I've just lost a really long post!

It's great hearing about everyone's snow day - even Georgina's marathon hill climb.

As football was cancelled we rounded up the dc's and went to the cinema and for a meal. After the excesses of yesterday, dh and I were drinking water and ds2 beer!

Looking forward to the MU next weekend - Lib could you pm me the details please; I wasn't there last summer so have no idea where you've booked.
