I am going for

  1. Cut and colour. Not everyone colours their hair some of us only when we needed to at about 42
  2. Wrap dresses and big tits

oh my, the rockabilly look - it's always trotted out as an option for the chunkier woman needing a wedding guest outfit - it rarely looks good. It's alternative in a 'completely the same' sort of way...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/12/2015 15:45

Shock Swedish his hair is LOVELY [tuts]

(Actually, I thought it was Jim McDonald from Corrie, so I did ) Wink

DinosaursRoar · 30/12/2015 15:46

The fly London boots/shoes always look very Germanic to me. They should be worn with quilted, practical coats.

mudandmayhem01 · 30/12/2015 15:46

I love fly London too, I wore mine with a skater dress the other day, sorry Brenda, for I have sinned.

Greengardenpixie · 30/12/2015 15:46

Grey hair is the new fashion accessory and suits everyone as does the pixie crop.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/12/2015 15:48

Oh and get a Pixie Crop "it;ll grow back, it's only hair"

It takes ages to grow back and you have the horrible in betweeny stage to go through. It's not something to undertake lightly.

If I do nothing with my hair and make-up, I look like a man. Not what I'm aiming for.

Greengardenpixie · 30/12/2015 15:48

Germanic?? Off too google
mmm...dont see the link personally?

ProjectPerfect · 30/12/2015 15:48

"Smart black trousers" with a blouse and "cardi" for job interviews. Wear a suit or wear something else. But don't wear the uniform of every bored admin assistant since 1985

ProjectPerfect · 30/12/2015 15:50

but I loved the wing shoes even for work

Greengardenpixie · 30/12/2015 15:50

I wear my fly london with loads of things and none with a quilted coat ha ha...... I think they are quite edgy and cool ok,clearly deluded

BrendaandEddie · 30/12/2015 15:50

I have tits and look bloody fab in wrap dresses.

ProjectPerfect · 30/12/2015 15:52

Skinny jeans, ballet flats and a Breton. It's not wrong it's just such a broad spectrum of "looks amazing" to "god awful" depending on a zillion other factors

wickedwaterwitch · 30/12/2015 15:52

Per una is lovely I always find

Grin I AM JOKING

BrendaandEddie · 30/12/2015 15:52

i find the wrap makes them look like two huge 1950s pistons

Greengardenpixie · 30/12/2015 15:53

Oh god..that Dotty P dress is vile.
Per una...is that still going?
I hate embellishments.

ProjectPerfect · 30/12/2015 15:53

Wrap dresses are the wardrobe equivalent of the brown leather sofa.

SirChenjin · 30/12/2015 15:53

Ankle boots look good with dresses and skirts.

No, they don't. OK, maybe on a few very young, very slim, very long legged women who would look good in bin bags, but on the average 5 foot 4, size 14/16 woman they really don't.

Yes to getting your colours done. I don't care how wonderful lilac is on me I'm not going to wear it. Ever.

NoMore314 · 30/12/2015 15:57

Maxi dresses. I hate them and I've been mean to people here. Don't buy them. They're always favoured by plump women with ginormous unsupported boobs in a maxi dress that they think elongates their body. They would look better in fitted clothes, thicker fabrics...

Greengardenpixie · 30/12/2015 15:57

I kind of just bought about 3 short skirts [well not micro mini] 18 inch or so. I am 48!!!! Shock
I have good legs, fairly slim looking 12 and hoping to be a 10 soon 5:2

HanSolo · 30/12/2015 15:57

Anything from Mint Velvet.
Just awful.

BrendaandEddie · 30/12/2015 15:57

whispers
I bloody love the result of having colours done
