Or did you all tear into it a week ago, as soon as you got it home?

Soooo....Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was in Box 1 - anyone tried it before? Sounds like a task for the weekend.

I'm happy with the bath soak too. Shame my tennis was cancelled tonight due to the court being frosty as it would have been perfect to use after exercising outside.

CointreauVersial · 14/12/2015 13:10

Hair oil....Hmm

Not sure about this one.

I used the no oil oil this morning as I opened the box just before washing my hair and it is quite nice. Not miraculous as my hair is in a right state but after blow drying roughly it did feel smoother and now it still feels really nice, looks quite glossy too. Quite pleased with it as I never buy any hair products except shampoo!

duckwalk · 14/12/2015 18:39

Love the lipstick! I think I'm the only one who's really pleased with it, but then I suit pinky shades. I've actually been trying to move away and onto bolder colours, typical!

SymphonyofShadows · 14/12/2015 18:53

I've opened tomorrow's already Blush

superbfairywren · 14/12/2015 19:33

The lippy is lovely duckwalk! I'm another pink shade wearer. I love red lipstick but I can only get away with it if my hair and makeup are pristine and I just don't have the time anymore! Pink is much more forgiving.

I am doing my nails tonight for the first time in forever so I am going to try the Leighton Denny stuff and the bb cuticle cream too.

Haven't found much time to try everything else out yet! Can't wait for dh to have some time off over Christmas so I can do things without a baby draped around my neck and a dog under my feet!!

SewSlapdash · 14/12/2015 19:44

Was thinking this morning how pleased I have been with everything. Not tried everything but that which I have is great, except the perfume. Loathe sweet scents like that. The Leighton Denny nail treatment is doing wonders. Hair oil was fab this morning, until I got drenched.

superbfairywren · 15/12/2015 06:29

The Leighton Denny stuff is just lovely. Really feel like I have had a spa nail treatment and I did it sat in front of the telly. It smells really nice and my nails are lovely and soft even this morning. Haven't painted them, saving that for next week so they're not ruined before Christmas, but they look ten times better!

Today's is opened and used - Oh.My.Word. Smell's amazing.

CointreauVersial · 15/12/2015 08:30

I'm keeping the packaging too!

Love today's handcream - one of my favourite products, and the smell is divine. It will be taking up residence in my desk drawer.

I love today's too. We are decorating at the moment and my hands are ruined.

I got my DM on of their hand creams in a festive tin as a little extra present and it was £9

duckwalk · 15/12/2015 10:03

I'm also keeping all the packaging for making my own advent calendar for my sister next year. She really deserves to be spoiled, but I'm struggling to think of contents. She has psoriasis and eczema so is very wary about what she puts on her skin. She also NEVER wears makeup or nail polish, through personal choice.
Hmmm, what should I put in?

P.s, today's offering is great, smells absolutely delicious!

superbfairywren · 15/12/2015 13:08

Duckwalk, If she drinks maybe mini spirits, mini wine, sweets, chocolate, things like nice lipbalm, could still do mini shampoo and Similar if you know what she does use/doesn't irritate her skin! Or earrings, other jewellery, a nice keyring, could probably squish some fine socks in the box?
Think I will keep the box too!!

MelanieCheeks · 15/12/2015 19:06

I wanted the gin advent calendar this year, but at £120 it was too pricey. So I'll be picking up mini bottles of spirits and wine through the year, and popping them into the empty boxes for my own boozy advent calendar next year. I could see this packaging (which is gorgeous) being used for many years!

Plateofcrumbs · 15/12/2015 20:38

I think I'm the only one who didn't like today's offering - smell was far too sickly sweet for my liking. lovely packaging though so tempted to drop it in as a stocking filler for someone who might appreciate it.

trixymalixy · 15/12/2015 21:40

I'm not overly keen on the smell of today's handcream, but it feels lovely when on so I can live with the smell. I took it to work to keep on my desk where it will get used quickly.

I am also planning what to do with the lovely advent calendar next year. I might do a mix of beauty treats and booze. Although it might go to my sister as I fancy another M&S one again next year, I've been very impressed with this one.

Ginxed · 15/12/2015 23:01

I've kept the packaging too, I might do DH a boozy calendar as I definitely want another M&S one, I've liked almost everything so far.

I love the smell of the handcream, and the way it soaks in so quickly and doesn't feel greasy, might have to invest in a big tube when this one runs out.

MountainDweller · 16/12/2015 00:28

I loved the hand cream too - in fact I have been "testing" it in the shop whenever I walk past, so now I don't have to buy it. Used shampoo on my fringe - looked nice afterwards and lovely smell!

Bath soak smells amazing so will have to try even though am not a bath person!

Have been dithering about the lipstick - so many make my lips sore! So am tempted to list on eBay. Seems a nice colour. I have dark hair and eyes and pale to slightly olivey skin - anyone with similar coloring find that it suited?

I am absolutely loving the whole thing - in fact I am sad that I'm more than half way through! I bought mine on eBay as I'm not in the uk and it wasn't available on m&s international sites. I paid more than I would have in store but it's still good value! I had a hankering for the Selfridges beauty workshop one but was finding it hard to justify the price.

When it's all opened (sniff) I think we should all name our favorites!

duckwalk · 16/12/2015 04:16

mountain yes good idea! Name our favourite and least favourite items, or even a top 5 -too invested-
superb thanks for all the great ideas! That's really helped Grin

superbfairywren · 16/12/2015 07:32

I might use it again next year but like some of you have said I am really enjoying the m&s calendar so if they do one next year I might have to get it again! Thought I could use it to make one for dh as he's missing out but I can't think of enough stuff to fit in the boxes for him(mini spirits, mixers, chocolate, sweets, biscuits), would be too much sweet stuff!

I like the smell of the hand cream(have tried it in the shop too) but I bought a lovely elderflower and rhubarb one that I really love recently so I think I will give this one away for Christmas, the packaging is so gorgeous.

cardoon · 16/12/2015 08:23

Which hand cream is it?

GoneAndDone · 16/12/2015 09:27

It's Roger & Gallet Freur de Figuier. I haven't tried mine yet.

I've been using the face cream from a pink tube from about a week ago and like it so far. I also used the hair oil yesterday and it's fine although no different from my usual hair product.

I gave the lipstick and anti-wrinkle cream to a friend at work yesterday and she was delighted. Smile

duckwalk · 16/12/2015 09:42

Really excited about today's surprise! Was nightshift last night so I rushed to my calendar when I got home! I'm a member of Facebook group Mes Gloss & The Goss (highly recommended) and loads of people have commented on it before, so looking forward to using it Grin
