Or did you all tear into it a week ago, as soon as you got it home?

Soooo....Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was in Box 1 - anyone tried it before? Sounds like a task for the weekend.

Ooh I've just found thread! Not tried the moisturiser yet, but I loved the shower gel, body lotion and nail stuff. i used the wrinkle filler this morning and couldn't see a difference but I'll persevere with it as lord knows my wrinkles could do with filling!

GoneAndDone · 10/12/2015 12:35

I'm really liking the perfume. Also used Rejuvenate on my nails after knackering them doing DIY at the weekend and they looked immediately better and were still good yesterday when I put nail polish on.

The wrinkle filler I'm going to give to someone as I have nothing to fill. Not a stealth boast, I promise... but I look so baby faced for 32.

CointreauVersial · 10/12/2015 13:21

Hmm...not sure about today's offering - I had a magazine freebie of this moisturiser (or one very similar from the same range) a few years back, and found it sat on my skin very greasily.

I will give it a go, though. My skins is a bit more, ahem, mature than it was then.

I don't like the smell of today's. I'll probably palm it off on my mother. I gave DD the Cowshed lotion, I didn't think it absorbed very well. She wants the perfume too but I'm trying to distract her from that because she's very heavy-handed with it!

MountainDweller · 11/12/2015 00:32

Not sure about the frankincense moisturiser either. Tried some on my hand, texture is nice but smell is very strong.

SymphonyofShadows · 11/12/2015 08:06

I'm quite happy with today's item. I won't say what it is in case you haven't opened it yet.

LexLoofah · 11/12/2015 14:48

today's item is perfect next weekend as going away for 2 days, my travel washbag is filling up nicely

I put the frankincencse cream on over my serum last night, lovely, not too strong smelling once applied

I wish some of the things came with more blurb, I had to look up the filler and the grape cream - but I guess that is what they want for you to visit their site and perhaps buy more stuff once you are there

trixymalixy · 11/12/2015 20:36

I'm really happy with everything so far apart from the perfume. That went to the bottle stall at the school fayre!

Plateofcrumbs · 12/12/2015 02:21

Tried a few things out today as I had a long bath. Elasticizer has left my hair softer and less wirey although lacking shine. Love the frankincense moisturiser (including the smell!). The nail treatment is also really good.

duckwalk · 12/12/2015 05:26

Can I join in too?!
Like most pp, the thing I'm most excited about is the Elastisizer, although not tried it yet. Really disappointed with the mascara - so thick and gooey, makes my eyelashes saturated and stick together in clumps Sad loving the cowshed body lotion and the scent of the cuticle cream. Hoping to see more makeup though! Tempted to creep downstairs to open number 12 already.......

LalaDipsey · 12/12/2015 08:08

Ooh not bad today :) not quite my colour but not a million miles off and looks very creamy :) this is my most exciting advent calendar ever!!

LalaDipsey · 12/12/2015 08:42

Ok, have now applied. Definitely too light for me but could work but I love the texture and brand. May go hunting for a different colour in this brand but not googled prices yet!

SymphonyofShadows · 12/12/2015 08:49

It's a bit light for me, could work for when I go heavier on the eyes sometimes though. I'm hoping to see more make up too but I reckon it will be mainly skin/hair products. I am loving it though. So glad I did it, as I'm running around madly trying to get everyone else sorted and it's nice to just have a little something for yourself every day.

summerwinterton · 12/12/2015 09:37

The RRP is £15.50 - according to those which have been listed on eBay today.

Plateofcrumbs · 12/12/2015 11:23

I thought it was a bit light on first application but actually really suits my skin tone so I'm pleased. Very moisture rich too.

SymphonyofShadows · 12/12/2015 12:14

I know I shouldn't be surprised at the ebay listing thing but I always am.

superbfairywren · 12/12/2015 13:21

Am pleased with today's box. Really similar in colour to a soap and glory one I had, loved and lost.

SymphonyofShadows · 12/12/2015 16:08

Did you notice that the big Soap & Glory set is half price at Boots now?

superbfairywren · 12/12/2015 16:14

Just seen symphony, if I didn't have all this stuff from the advent calendar to try I would be buying it for myself, but maybe I will get one to split up as Christmas presents!

SymphonyofShadows · 12/12/2015 16:27

I always get it as it always gets used. The Righteous Butter is great for DS's scaly dry skin

LexLoofah · 12/12/2015 16:55

lippy looks nice, I like the deago della palma mascara so hope it wears as well

tried the shampoo this morning, pretty impressed with effect on my fine thin hair, so have bought a small tube of the conditioner from the same range - dammit their marketing ploy is working on me! just a small tube of the shampoo or conditioner is £4 so brilliant value from the advent box, cannot get over how much the lipstick is!

TennesseeMountainPointOfView · 12/12/2015 18:33

The lipstick is a million miles away from my colour, and it's very heavily scented I think. I can see why people are selling them, although I gave mine to my hairdresser and in exchange DD got 4 strands of hair tinsel put in!!

CointreauVersial · 12/12/2015 21:57

Yesterday's shampoo - meh. Although it will be very handy as a travel size for all the foreign holidays I don't have

Today's lippy - love it! A lovely soft rose, just right for my colouring. I wore it today, but I think it will look even better in the summer. And it tasted of butterscotch too. Win!

Today's bath soak will definitely get used! I'm planning on running a half marathon in spring so I think I will save it for after a long winter run.

CointreauVersial · 13/12/2015 19:54

I love a relaxing bath of a weekend, so this will certainly find a home in my bathroom.
