Or did you all tear into it a week ago, as soon as you got it home?

Soooo....Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was in Box 1 - anyone tried it before? Sounds like a task for the weekend.

Morning. Hope it's ok to join in.

Today is some cowshed body lotion. Smells amazing and a huge bottle for the money. Love it.

MuchasSmoochas · 03/12/2015 08:10

Yes looks fab. Does your bottle say "gel douche" on it, isn't that shower gel? Which makes me think Cowshed made a load of stuff with wrong labels and then thought Sod it we will give this away Smile

SheHasAWildHeart · 03/12/2015 09:12

What is the cuticle cream called please, it sounds really good.

TennesseeMountainPointOfView · 03/12/2015 09:27

Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - it's here

SheHasAWildHeart · 03/12/2015 09:34

Thank you. After many, many years of biting my nails I have finally given up! I have now been giving my hands and nails alot more attention and they look fab, but this cream sounds like something I should start using more. Burt's Bees stuff is always nice. Thanks :)

Caprinihahahaha · 03/12/2015 09:40

I'm having a lovely advent as I have the selfridges one while DD has the M&S one.
I got dr perricone foundation this morning. She got a very apt one in her M&S Grin

I also get anything she doesn't want/need/like . Win win.

The cuticle cream is lovely.

Today's is lovely too but she's keeping it.

CointreauVersial · 03/12/2015 13:14

Muchas - yes, mine says "Gel Douche" on it as well. My French isn't great, but even I know that's not French for "Body Lotion". Confused

I even rubbed on a bit, to check I didn't start foaming!

Feels nice, not too strongly scented.

The body lotion is lovely. I actually bought a little cowshed gift set with this in as a Christmas pressie and was jealous so am really happy with no3! Am excited for the rest. I rarely buy myself anything so am hoping this box of treats will keep me stocked up and if I have the time I can treat myself to some pampering!!

MontserratCaballe · 03/12/2015 16:06

I thought mine was body lotion but it was v early and quite dark. I will check again tonight.

So far, am thinking that the calendar is lovely and is good value for money. Proper sizes and no turkeys as yet. Mind you, it is only day 3 so plenty of time!

Caprinihahahaha · 03/12/2015 17:18

I'm pretty sure that it's body lotion, not least because the only instruction is to liberally rub it in.

CointreauVersial · 03/12/2015 17:37

Yes, but they need to sack the proof-reader who approved the labels!

OP posts:
Caprinihahahaha · 03/12/2015 17:42

I agree totally.

MontserratCaballe · 04/12/2015 08:31

Mine is not just body lotion. It is UPLIFTING body lotion. Perhaps different calendars have different things from within the same brand?

Today was mascara. A good handbag size. I am, however, a mascara ho so I hope it is a good one.

superbfairywren · 04/12/2015 09:01

Interested to try the mascara, I don't wear makeup often so mini ones like this are all I normally need. Am hoping the box will have a few more bits like this in so I don't have to buy any makeup for a while and I might rediscover it a bit, haven't had much time or opportunity to go out in the last year and I don't wear makeup day to day!

summerwinterton · 04/12/2015 09:21

apparently the hair elasticiser works better if you put it on dry hair and leave then shampoo out later.

SheHasAWildHeart · 04/12/2015 10:34

With the hair elasticiser I wet my hair, rub it in and then pop a bag/shower cap over it for 15 mins whilst in the bath and then wash it out. Isn't heavy at all that way.

MelanieCheeks · 04/12/2015 11:16

Mind if I join in? I haven't tried the hair elastacizer yet, but the cuticle cream is now firmly attached to my desk (no really, it's got a sticky bottom....)

Body lotion and mascara look good.

My 22 yr old DD is home for the weekend, and we are visiting my Mum, her Gran, next week. I think we'll take the calendar with us and have a mass opening and divvy up of contents. I promise not to post any spoilers!

CointreauVersial · 04/12/2015 13:25

Nooo, Melanie - you can't do that!! Shock

Nice mascara today, but I will probably put it in DD1's stocking, as I don't often wear black. She is desperate for the Benefit They're Real one, but at £19 she can sing for it!

I have at last started using one of the products - broke out the Burts Bees cuticle cream last night, and gave my nails a good rub with it before I went to bed. Smells divine, and it's nice and thick, so you don't spread oily residue everywhere.

Monty - yes, mine is "Uplifting" Body Lotion - it's just the line of conflicting French text underneath that got me confused.

NotNowBono · 04/12/2015 13:37

YY to the showercap over the elasticiser. I stick a woolly hat on top for maximum warming effect, leave it on for an hour while I do something else, and it does make a difference, although, on me, not the miraculous transformation QVC would like you to believe.

BeyondTheSea · 04/12/2015 21:52

Tried the mascara today - wasn't too impressed. Big clumpy brush.

Liked days 1-3 though :)

HoundoftheBaskervilles · 04/12/2015 22:12

I quite like the mascara, but of an unwieldy brush but got good separation and length with it.

Would it be wrong to settle down with a glass of something nice and open them all tonight ?

maggiso · 04/12/2015 22:29

I've got one too. On Tuesday I was woken up very early by ds who had already sneaked downstairs and opened his chocolate advent calendar and wanted to start on mine! It's nice to know the products smell lovely - I can't smell anything at present due to a cold. I have never used cuticle cream before and when I first opened it thought it was lip Salve!

MelanieCheeks · 05/12/2015 07:22

Hmm, another nail cream this morning.

Magicrealism · 05/12/2015 07:55

I like the wee nail buffer that comes with the cream.

superbfairywren · 05/12/2015 08:08

Seems like a good product, I've seen it before I think and had it recommended when I told a friend I needed to sort my nails out. She said the Leighton Denny stuff is really good and feels like a salon manicure at home. I don't mind more nail stuff as I plan to sit down for a night before Christmas and thoroughly sort my nails out.
