Well if it was £20 and gorgeous I for one would have told you to snap it up!

hattymattie · 25/09/2015 15:45

Go back HerbsSmile

herbaceous · 25/09/2015 16:41

I didn't really like it, but could have sold it on eBay!

herbaceous · 25/09/2015 16:43

BUT I did get a TM Lewin silk shirt, a crazy vintage tie-neck blouse, a pair of dark grey Gap linen mix trews and grey and white stripey breton tunic for a grand total of..... £17.

Auriga · 25/09/2015 17:10

Very sorry about the pussycat Crem Sad

Once again the Crepey chat is turning into a Ward Round. Sympathy to all the bruised, swollen, sprained and anxious.

DD would definitely need an extra listening ear/advocate for anything medical. At lamost 17 & apparently mature, I still find it unpredictable what will worry her. And DH needed me all through his ordeals, he was far too ill, traumatised & bewildered to take anything in, least of all the complex stuff he had to get to grips with.

I considered writing an article about it at the time but was too traumatised myself. I think critically ill people should be allowed an advocate & helper in hospital, just as women in labour have a birth partner.

I've had another (positive) appraisal, which I'm glad is over. The way things are going, I'll soon be spending as much time being inspected, appraised, audited, reviewed & cross-examined as I spend working. Hope there is better news soon for Crem and BD.

Also sumbitted a proposal for a conference workshop next year & feel hopeful about it. So looking forward to a night off with all of you. Please may I have a PM or text with the details? Sorry if I've missed them earlier.

wilbur · 25/09/2015 17:33

Crem - so very sorry about your cat Sad.

addle · 25/09/2015 18:00

I'm so sorry, Crem. how sad.

btm - I'm really sorry I've lost the details of where we are going for tapas - could you message me please?

i'll be late - possibly about 7.30 but will be with you as quickly as possible and with you in spirit from 4 - rather than sipping tea in Surrey

Rosebag · 25/09/2015 18:04

So sorry about your poor cat Cremo and what a horrible thing to have found her like that.Sad Flowers

Well done on the interview Hatty It sounds like it did go well to me Smile

I am worried about public transport and the rugby crowds tomorrow. Would I be being silly to try a bus ride from somewhere (KX) instead of using the tube?

motherinferior · 25/09/2015 18:06

Rose, I'm going to get the train from KX to Blackfriars, probably.

BeachysFlipFlops · 25/09/2015 18:14

So sorry to hear about pussy cat, Crem....Sad what a shock.....

Looking forward to tomorrow greatly.

bigTillyMint · 25/09/2015 18:15

So sorry for you Cremo.

Herbs, is that a crazy vintage Boden tie-neck blouse?!

Auriga, I will PM you.

Is it an England game tomorrow? Phew - what a good idea to have our MUSmile

Rosebag · 25/09/2015 18:19

Can someone just PM me which branch of the restaurant it is for the tapas. I'm getting confused between Blackfriars and the other South London one…..Confused

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/09/2015 18:43

And me please...
Ta. X

herbaceous · 25/09/2015 19:09

No idea of brand, BTM. It has no label, apart from one saying '100% polyester'. This is what makes me think 'vintage'!

Talking of which, off out tonight to a 1920s themed party in aid of Amnesty. I have borrowed a rather fetching dress, bag and headband.

MrsSchadenfreude · 25/09/2015 19:45

So sorry about your fluffy puss, Crem. Sad

Cremo · 25/09/2015 20:02

Thanks everyone for kind words. She was one of the family and will be badly missed.. We are in bits.

Still, see you all tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.
BTM I still have your phone number , and will text if it looks like I'll be later than 4.

bigTillyMint · 25/09/2015 20:03

Jeez, what are you crepeys like? Grin
PMs all round!

Blackduck · 25/09/2015 20:19

I am home. Dmum looks dreadful - very very frail. Having episodes where the memory has gone - an hour insisting this wasn't her house. And a massive bruise where she has fallen over. I really think we may have to think about care sooner rather than later.

Back to Dr Foster - not sure about it at all....

bigTillyMint · 25/09/2015 20:28

Oh dear BD, that sounds very sad. Is your DD not telling you stuff?

bigTillyMint · 25/09/2015 20:29

DF

Blackduck · 25/09/2015 20:55

BTM he generally only tells me when he sees me. On phone he doesn't say much. It's just she seems to deteriorate rapidly between each visit.

CointreauVersial · 25/09/2015 21:28

Can I be an utter pain and ask for a PM about arrangements too? Blush I think I know where I'm going, but am not 100%

Am still trying to decide what to do with my unencumbered afternoon in the Big Smoke.

Sorry to hear about puss, Crem. Heartbreaking. Sad
