That's the one. I haven't run it through COSDNA yet. Might be one to miss in that case.

lucysmam · 23/09/2015 20:45

I've just spent a happy hour playing with my skin analyser while doing my routine. I've come to the conclusion that I need more moisture in my daytime routine. Surprisingly, there was more moisture after double cleansing than all day! & my skin has pretty much stayed at +1 or +2 for oilyness, so a bit over 'normal' but nowhere near as bad as I expected.

I'm going to work myself out some sort of proper chart over the next few days and start properly recording from Monday.

lucysmam · 23/09/2015 21:10

I almost forgot - seeing a post on reddit reminded me...I tried the Banila Clean It Zero tonight; it doesn't take off my eyeliner/mascara like the Black Sugar oil so I'm back on the hunt for something to do that job.

AngelaRipp0n · 23/09/2015 23:08

Oh God, you lot are bad for me, I've just ordered the Snow White cream and Mizon black snail aio.

Finally got to the post Derek.

iamanintrovert · 24/09/2015 06:31

Just done my first ever order of Asian beaty products through roseroseshop. I've ordered White Seed Pure Vitamin 10% ampoule, Lovely ME:EX Bebe Lip Essence, Clean Face Spot Corrector, Mayu Healing Shampoo, and Lovely MEEX Aqua Tint.

teawamutu · 24/09/2015 08:49

lucysmam, could you post a link to the nr cream? I can't find it and it sounds nice.

lucysmam · 24/09/2015 09:51

This one tea. That listing's actually cheaper than I had seen it at. There's a whole rice & ceramide line that all seems very reasonably priced Smile

derektheladyhamster · 24/09/2015 17:58

Thank you Angela - loads of samples, really helpful. (and I wasn't expecting so many Grin)

FrustratedFrugal · 24/09/2015 18:50

Lots of lovely new products here. Intrigued about the Snow White stuff! I've been super busy with work and travel and really lax with skincare - don't feel I need much atm.

If you take a look at it on ebay, Frugal, some of the before & after shots look a bit unbelievable (sp?) but I asked on the daily ELI5 thread on reddit & apparently it does a really good job of evening skin tone. No white cast - sinks in in a couple of minutes. Sounds like a good primer.

I'm going to risk it and the rice ceramide I think...am just sitting down to shop skincare and boots. I'm having major boot ishooes...I can't decide what to get!

lucysmam · 24/09/2015 20:21

& I don't think I'm keen on the Clean it Zero - more the texture than anything else.

wickedfairy · 24/09/2015 21:31

Lucysmam - thanks for the feedback re Banila not removing makeup as efficiently as skinfood black sugar. That was on my list next.... It may still be, as I don't wear makeup if working (not allowed) but it may have put me off a little....

Have tried my sum37 miracle rose cleanser (as second cleanse) and it's quite nice. Have only tried twice but it seems ok. Missha FTE seems ok, I will see how I get on.

Second night this week on retinA too! It smells a little odd, but we'll see how it goes.

lucysmam · 24/09/2015 21:34

I still have three untouched samples if you'd like one to try wicked?

HeyMacWey · 25/09/2015 17:09

Ooh I was just looking at the banilla as a replacement for when my oil runs out - think I'll go for the black sugar oil though.
I've just received the magic m cushion however they sent the moisture one which is way too dewy for me - its got a couple of refills in the packet though so happy to rehome if anyone wants it. Its in colour 23. Lovely coverage and so easy to use.
I also got some koelf royal jelly eye patches which are lovely and cooling and definitely have a short term effect after using - some of my finer wrinkles were definitely puffed out.
Ive just ordered some tosowoong enzyme powder wash instead of a traditional foaming cleanser - it looks really similar to the dermalogica daily microfoliant which I used to love - will report back when it arrives!

lucysmam · 25/09/2015 17:43

Any chance of a swatch of the cushion Hey? I've ordered 21 but not sure what it'll be like on.

I was going to try the Superdrug cleansing oil as a stop gap while I wait for the Kose one but reading the instructions, it said to apply with cotton pads so I left it.

My secret key essence finally finished last night - I'm now working my way through a L'Oreal one (that I think is for daytime but not sure) & looking for another with niacinamide before I hit "go" on COSRX galactomyces 95 essence. I think the COSRX is about the best value though...

XiCi · 25/09/2015 19:31

Has anyone ever received a wrong order from beauty net Korea ebay? I ordered Missha FTE but have ended up with snail bee lotion!!

lucysmam · 25/09/2015 21:54

I've only had 2 orders from them so far XiCi but both have been right. Have you emailed them?

XiCi · 25/09/2015 22:07

I will do lucysmam. My sisters been dying to try the snail bee so I've passed it on to her. It was only a samples order so not too much money lost if they don't send the FTE

lucysmam · 25/09/2015 22:56

At least all is not lost if your sister gets to try something she was keen to try. I'd still be frustrated though not to have what I actually wanted.

lucysmam · 25/09/2015 22:59

Just seen a post on reddit btw - Tester Korea have an up to 80% sale...

lucysmam · 26/09/2015 08:52

My cushion has arrived! I haven't had a wash yet so haven't tried it but it's the classiest piece of make up I now own! For all of a fiver!

Wonder why Western make-up in the five quid range doesn't come so smartly packaged?!

wickedfairy · 26/09/2015 13:38

Lucysmam - a sample would be lovely thank you. I will pm you my address - will cover your postage..

lucysmam · 26/09/2015 16:51

No probs, let me know where to send it & I'll post on Tuesday when I go to get money out for the week Smile

FrustratedFrugal · 26/09/2015 17:38

Lucysmam I've often also wondered why cheap Western makeup is often so awfully ugly. It is changing, Kiko and Inglot for example look minimalistic and don't cost the earth, but I love Korean packaging.

Just saw this bizarre product.

I've had a scary thing going on with my lip that has but me off skincare and makeup. It took a while to figure it out what it was but I developed a patch of actinic cheilitis on my upper lip. It is a precancerous form of sun damage, a small, numb, constantly peeling patch. It can be treated by freezing and various other topical treatments. Anyway I think I got it because I used glycolic acid. I checked the labels and none of my lip products contain sunscreen. Although I have applied sunscreen diligently elsewhere, the upper lip got exposed to strong sunlight. So if anyone here is still doing AHAs, please be extra careful - cheilitis is awful and the treatments are not fun. And if you have used a good high SPF lip product that is compatible with everyday life, please let me know!

lucysmam · 26/09/2015 17:51

Eek Frugal, glad you caught it & got checked out! What does the treatment involve, if you don't mind me asking?

IIRC, Malibu lip balms are reasonably priced & have an spf in them - not sure how high an spf -off for a google.
