Honest opinions please - my wedding dress

I'm having doubts about my dress, mainly because I've been to 3 weddings recently where the bride has spent hundreds on their dress and I've spent less than £120 and only now have I realised you can probably tell.

The dress fits lovely and I'm getting nice shoes but I can't help shake the feeling people will think it looks cheap because it is cheap

Feeling stressed this evening worrying about it - wish wed disappeared somewhere and got married on our own so I didn't have 100 odd people looking at me

Today has been a great day shopping for the accessories. I've found a beautiful bracelet (£7 looks £50) and my Jimmy Choos!!!! they are none of the links I previously put on. My bridesmaid cried when she saw me in the dress and the shoes. They kind of peek out like a Cinderella shoe

The dress looks good on now I've got the right shoes so £100 for dress and £375 for shoes but now feel much better about it all thanks to MN. Honestly it's lovely that so many have replied - I was far more upset and stressed than I let on last night but didn't want to come across as a bridezilla

OP those shoes are AMAZING!!! I gasped when I saw them The dress is simple and elegant but the shoes will take it to another level.

Shoes are my thing so if I ever get married I will do like you: chic simple dress, knockout shoes.

The shoes, hair, make up and flowers all made the dress feel like it was worth thousands.

oooh that's gorgeous! Normally I would think it too plain but no, its lovely! I do think, however, you should maximise it by wearing your hair up, some nice earrings, nice tiara/comb (not a veil) and your bouquet shouldn't be one of those long ones, I don't think that would go with it tbh.

Are you tall and slim? If you have a bit of a tummy, it might not work...

You're making me feel less nervous now for mine. We get married in less than 4 weeks, my dress cost £225 from phase eight outlet, I love it but was having a wobble about how I will look. I think it's just the nerves talking.
