Didn't expect her to look so classy Blush

The lace is gorgeous close-up.

I think Kate Middletons dress was nicer, but this is still lovely.

Suit, sorry, no they weren't. Christ, that makes it even more of a kick in the fanny. Like Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. I read he was stepdad to his ex's two adult sons and assumed it was official via marriage when of course he would have been stepdad via cohabiting too. All my lack of credibility comes from digital lie rather than Fail thank you very much! Grin

No, seriously, their alleged gossip thread was on this aeons ago. They never name names but some of them are on the money. Am not antiFail re its photos mind, it always does good coverage, but it is way behind in the gossip stakes.

....and FWIW....I agree with you mintyy. It should have been a polyester trouser suit from Bon Prix and down at the most unappealing registry office there is.

Not posing like an absolute gonk with a veil over one's face like the epitomy of virginity on the steps of s church

Gobbolino - I'm not quite sure - are you a fan of Geris? Wink

Er......no!

But I'm not the ex-partner either just to clarify!

I noticed Geri wasn't at David Beckham's 40th and Vicki wasn't at the wedding - are they not mates any more then?

Its still a lovely dress though which is what the thread is about Grin

Apparently still friends. VB has tweeted to say sorry she couldn't be there.

It is a lovely dress, cute bridesmaid and beautiful flowers. Just inappropriate.

Come on Noddy play the game - it is never just about the dress Wink

Nice dress, bit age inappropriate. It's not something I'd have gone for at 42.

Report
noddyholder · 15/05/2015 19:15

I don't see the age issue I think she looks fine in it! I don't care about the gossip really people get up to all sorts in celeb land nothing surprises me. She's never been married before and wanted a big white dress I think its ok. I know people older who have worn white. I'm not married though so not up on teh 'rules' I just think its nice as dresses go I usually hate them all!

If white is only appropriate for virgins then 95% of brides would be in muddy grey.

I think she looks nice. She hasn't been married before so why shouldn't she have the wedding she wants?

I didn't know about her husband's disgraceful behaviour, but my first thought was that at nearly 50 and with a daughter, the whole big dress and veil thing looked ridiculous.

With her husband's behaviour I can't believe they have the nerve to have a big paparazzi friendly wedding. Tacky.

Gorgeous dress.

If I am honest, I think she's too old for the whole big white wedding dress & veil.

But a lovely dress nonetheless.

All the dresses by the same designer are gorgeous. I have dress envy.

HHem, 42 is not nearly 50.....

Nearly 50? Isn't she 42?!!!

Why shouldn't she have a big wedding -it's her first (possibly only) wedding.

Why is she too old for the dress? Who makes these rules

I love the dress, it's beautiful! Would have preferred it without the veil though. Her bouquet was lovely too. Probably a bit insensitive given how they got together to have such a showy do, but it's their first wedding each so probably both wanted a big one.

I wish my husbands parents had stayed away from our wedding, miserable buggers! Grin
