Just being nosy really! I'll start;

I'm 34 and shop at new look and asos. I've just found 'anthropologie' and would love to shop there but it's too pricy for me.

You?

  1. Zara, H&M, Toast, COS, ASOS mostly.
Yseulte · 05/11/2015 22:37

Uniqlo, Zara, Warehouse, Phase Eight, Bennetton, Asda (!), TKMaxx, eBay - I like to pick up LKBennett and Diane von Furstenberg.

TheFormidableMrsC · 05/11/2015 22:43
  1. Topshop, Primark, ASOS, H&M, Monsoon (sale only these days), e-bay, Next (sometimes), TK Maxx, Matalan, John Lewis (for occasions), Zara. Actually, I don't really mind where I buy things as long as they fit properly and look good. I am not a clothes snob at all.

Handbags, however.....

Reiss
John Lewis
The Outnet
Uniqlo
Local designer boutique
Local designer vintage shop (I love surrounded by Euro bankers so buy their wives' cast offs)
Hush
Jigsaw
Gap
Cocoa cashmere
New Look

Me and Em, but I think their style has really gone off the boil recently.

I have a great silk dress from them that's black with a pale pink stripe down each side and every time I wear it people beg to know where it's from.

But it's a few years old now and they don't seem to do anything that stylish (sorry, awful word) any more.

Think The Outnet is my current favourite of all of the above.

Fave is Mint Velvet but can only afford to shop there every few months or when there's a sale on.

TK Maxx
H & M
Toast
Tesco
Clarks
M & S
Next
White Stuff
Banana Republic

Riversiderunner · 05/11/2015 22:51

Also lovely Whistles which is great for a panic buy for a smart occasion

SuperFlyHigh · 06/11/2015 06:52

polyhymnia · 06/11/2015 14:30

See I've already contributed to this! Wondering why a thread that ran its course in early May has been resurrected now...

AshleyWilkes · 06/11/2015 15:22

I'm 32
The high street favourites are definitely Dorothy Perkins, Primark, Next, New Look, and George at Asda.

Online is JOE BROWNS!!! Love love love love love their clothes, I wish I could have my entire wardrobe from there!

Blodss · 06/11/2015 16:19

polyhymnia Sometimes people just put a search in on a subject they are interested in and then find an old thread and re start it.

banff82 · 06/11/2015 16:37

I'm 33.

I am completely addicted to expensive outdoor clothing and my favourite shops/websites are Snow+Rock, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and Cotswold Outdoor, and the Arc'teryx store when I'm in London. Lululemon for nice workout/slobbing gear, I stocked up in Canada last year.

High street wise I buy most basic/everyday stuff from H&M, it's brilliant. I like SuperDry and Hollister for hoodies, jeans, soft checked shirts, bodywarmers and casual jackets (not the crazily logo'ed stuff). TopShop for skinny jeans, and occasional bits from New Look, Zara and River Island. I have a few nice dresses from Oasis, Zara etc. but really hardly ever wear them. Underwear mostly from M&S and H&M.

I mostly wear scrubs at work so don't really need much in the way of fancy/office clothes.

banff82 · 06/11/2015 16:41

Oh, missed the sizes in case it matters; I'm 5'7 and size 6-8 on top, 8 on bottom.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/11/2015 21:28

49
5'5"
Size 12 rump size 14 top,bit lardy round the middle but I'm making progress there Wink

Most of my clothes are M&S. I have a Perfect M&S bum Grin
Some Tu Sainsburys (but not GokWan)
Primark for tops/jumpers- I can't wear their jeans/leggings
Matalan modal tops
Uniqlo
QVC for jackets/coats (Centigrade not Dennis Basso) and shiney things with sequins
I have one pair of jeans (Next) that I haven't worn yet
H&M but they have a load of synthetic so mainly cotton cardigans

Any shops which are busy, cramped with not enough space between stands, disco level music and too hot (flushes). Well that's ruled out most of them....

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/11/2015 21:30

Oh, I'd rather eat my eyes than tackle TKMaxx, it's too confusing.

SpendSpendSpend · 06/11/2015 21:34

Im 28.

I shop at Boden, Debenhams - i particularly like their designers like Red Herring, Joe Browns etc.

I used to shop at Dorothy Perkins but havent for several years.

SpendSpendSpend · 06/11/2015 21:35

Im also 5ft 8 and size 18.

Saurus72 · 06/11/2015 22:41

For work: Jaeger (outlet), Hobbs, Whistles
Weekends: Cos, Whistles, Jigsaw

Overall, if Cos and Whistles didn't exist I would be both distressed and severely limited over what to wear.

Sweetsweetjane · 07/11/2015 08:48

43 . Zara, tkmax, charity shops, gap, primani.

jaybeeyellow · 07/11/2015 15:42

52!
I like Whistles and will buy occasionally, but it's expensive. Ditto Jigsaw. Have only recently discovered Cos, and was very impressed. Jumpers actually made from merino etc, but at the same price as Topshop items which are man made.
Recently ordered more from Boden. Some success, but having terrible problems with inconsistency in sizing.
Love TKMAXX, but need time to concentrate/rumage!

Marmaladybird · 07/11/2015 18:56

39, 5'7" and size 12

Abercrombie & Fitch, Gap, Boden, River Island, TKMaxx, Dorothy Perkins, Levis.
