Just being nosy really! I'll start;

I'm 34 and shop at new look and asos. I've just found 'anthropologie' and would love to shop there but it's too pricy for me.

You?

67! Uniqlo, Buy My Wardrobe, TK Maxx, Phase 8, Me &Em, Tesco, Marks, Peacocks, Edinburgh Woolen Mill, QVC, La Redoute, a couple of charity shops where Ms.Moremoneythansense of the Cotswolds drops off expensive and often unworn castoffs, Pure, Hush, a local dress agency and I get my T-shirt bras from my local Avon rep. Smile

The vast majority of my causal wardrobe comes from Topshop.
Going out stuff is usually Helmut Lang.
Nicer bits from Matches and NaP
Jeans from J Brand and Goldsign
Workwear is a bit more varied - I like Me&Em, Baukjen, LKB, Uniqlo etc

  1. Uniqlo through and through.

That said, I also like Zara, Mango, etc but I tend to buy more from Uniqlo.

I'm 27 and I seem to do most of my shopping from Primark, ASOS, H&M, Dorothy Perkins, eBay and plenty of charity shops too.

Hopefully · 04/11/2015 12:10

This thread is really interesting!

32 and shop in a range of places including H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Gap (jeans only, and only recently), plus the odd expensive bag/scarf/item of clothing from Net a Porter/The Outnet.

I do mix my work and casual wardrobe though as I have to look quite smart for work when I'm out of my office. (Wfh 2-3 days per week so wear casual stuff then)

I buy in sales/outlets (50% off is my starting point - to the extent that I become enraged when "only" offered 30%) and I find that as I get older I would prefer to have fewer items of clothing that are will last through more than a handful of seasons. I also care more about my own style than about fashion - although I do like to keep an eye on new trends and see how I can adapt them to suit my style. I sell things that I don't think are working hard enough for me.

SparklyTinselTits · 04/11/2015 16:13

I'm 21, and shop in new look, top shop, next (easy to buy my clothes in the same place as DD's!), and the odd bits and pieces from M&S. Not too pricey, but not sweatshop cheap. The only things I do save up for is decent jeans, and underwear. Cant stand cheap underwear where the wire pops out in the wash Hmm

quirkychick · 04/11/2015 16:27

EmilyPunkhurst - great name btw, I have much less clothes now, much more of a capsule wardrobe than I used to it makes getting dressed so much easier. I also love a bargain, have found some real treasures in charity shops over the years. You sound like you have some lovely things.

TempsPerdu · 04/11/2015 16:47

Great thread! I'm 35.

Mainly:
Cos
& Other Stories
Uniqlo
Hush

Odd bits from Boden, Top Shop, Asos, M&S, Urban Outfitters, Zara

Comptoir des Cotonniers and Anthropologie when I can afford it, which isn't often!

TempsPerdu · 04/11/2015 16:49

Oh, and I second whoever it was who said they wished Madewell would open over here - I love their stuff!

EmilyPunkhurst · 04/11/2015 17:07
