Just being nosy really! I'll start;

I'm 34 and shop at new look and asos. I've just found 'anthropologie' and would love to shop there but it's too pricy for me.

You?

Mostly Next but only because I get a discount and have access to their direct to desk perk. I like Wallis, New Look and DP too. I love Zara and Selfridges, but I'm too fat for their stuff Grin

FartemisOwl · 04/11/2015 17:31

Whoops, sorry - I'm 40

TimeToMuskUp · 04/11/2015 17:47
  1. I mostly shop at Gap for jeans, vests and basics. Zara for wedding and dressy stuff. Oasis for work clothes. Joules for extra basics.

I used to shop at Next a lot but have lost my way with them this year. They don't seem to be producing clothes which suit me any more.

Do you shop for part two and inwear online nooddsocksfome

maybemyrtle · 05/11/2015 08:00

Where I live, I only really go to TK Maxx and Hennes. Occasionally Gap, Zara, Mango. Big fan of eBay too.
When in London (and this is where I mainly buy), Cos, Other Stories, Uniqlo, Muji.
Also I always find something in the Hobbs outlet at Gunwharf Quays. (If anyone wants a dark royal blue cashmere jumper, amazingly soft, in a size small for £50, pls go and buy it because I'm kicking myself for not having got it yesterday....)

28, size 12/14, 5'9. I mainly shop at H&M, Zara, Oasis, Warehouse and ASOS. I've recently started to look at Reiss, Jaeger and All Saints as I think my wardrobe needs more well made classic styles rather than fast trendy fashions.

NameChange30 · 05/11/2015 13:03

Age: 29 but very nearly 30 (eek)
Size: 12/14 pear/hourglass

Gap for jeans (great fit and quality) and other basics
Esprit
Warehouse
Fat Face
White Stuff
House of Fraser (for more unusual brands like Dickins & Jones, Yumi etc)
Bravissimo for bras (big boobs!) and occasionally Pepperberry clothes
Sainsburys for leggings (the luxury ones)
M&S for knickers

My friends love Asos and are amazed I haven't used it before... I did look recently but didn't find what I wanted.

When I was younger (late teens, early 20s) I used to shop in H&M a lot, but I find the styles don't suit me any more. I find a lot of the clothes in fashionable high street shops unflattering for my shape.

LK Bennett - only in sales
Joules (discovered their stripey tops)
Baukjen
Me & Em
TK Maxx
Modalu for bags
Boots/Body Shop for beauty stuff

I'll happily browse anywhere for stuff and if I like it and it fits/suits then I'll buy it. I've got way too many clothes and just signed up to the 'No buying in 2016' thread.

EmmaWoodlouse · 05/11/2015 16:55

49 and size 18 with a tight budget.

New Look
TKMaxx
BHS (including Wallis and DP concessions)
Charity shops
Second-hand agencies
Fat Face sale
Laura Ashley sale (we have a permanent sale outlet here)
M&S - mostly sale but occasionally full price for basics (permanent sale outlet again - and a normal shop)
Mantaray
Red Herring
George
and I like the brands Made In Italy and Izabel, which you can get in various places - MII is out of my usual price range but worth a look in the sale.

If I became rich, the first brand I'd start buying that I don't already would be Masai.

MrsMarigold · 05/11/2015 17:09

M&S, H&M, Jigsaw, Uniqlo, Mint Velvet, Hobbs

MrsMarigold · 05/11/2015 17:09

oops and 39

SuperFlyHigh · 05/11/2015 17:49
  1. Top Shop, Oasis, Zara, White stuff (not the clothes only some boots!), H&M, Cos and &Other Stories and occasionally Joy the Store for the odd thing. warehouse, and boutiques locally for the odd gem that is not 'high street'.

I baulk at Jigsaw/Hobbs etc prices and fabrics, got tired of Whistles and see them so much reduced in my local dept store (also hate their synthetics use) so would rather spend less at the brands listed above.

nooddsocksforme · 05/11/2015 19:39

blodds yes online but still like to try things on before buying as i am so useless at sending back online stuff so would love if more places had it on display

ThatWentWell · 05/11/2015 21:46

40, size 6-8

Whistles
Zara
Top shop
Vero Moda/Vila/Selected Femme/Just Female

I'm a very plain dresser and I don't like to veer from the above, I should branch out more......

TriJo · 05/11/2015 21:57

31, 5'5", size 10-12, 20 weeks pregnant, extremely busty... Gap, Next, Asos, Fat Face, M&S, Bravissimo/Pepperberry, Primark, H&M etc.

Jelly101 · 05/11/2015 22:04
  1. Size 10.

I usually shop at Topshop, New look, River Island, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins and Oasis Smile

Corygal · 05/11/2015 22:05

47 and never known to pay opening price. I do a lot of

Margiela, Helmut Lang, Vince & Theory via TK Maxx Contemporary
Johnstons, Duffy, 360 cashmere in TK
Monki, weekday, Stories, Cos, Dagmar in sale

The odd freak of nature from Primark, and a goodly deal of designerwear (Henry Holland, Miu Miu, you name it) from charity shops where I volunteer. I save the best stuff for my neices.

Considering all this you would think I'd look great. Everything is covered in pawmarks and tabby fur Grin

MurlockedInTheCellarHelpUs · 05/11/2015 22:21

Another one here who doesn't pay full-price for anything if they can help it.

I have champagne tastes on a lemonade budget, so buy from TK Maxx and outlet shops a lot, as well as eBay for nicer labels that I can't afford new (Hobbs, Farhi and Phase Eight normally).

I tend to dress classically boringly! in neutrals, and then add a nice necklace from the cheaper end of the high street or a bright handbag or cocktail ring. Makes the cheaper bits seem more expensive, somehow!

Oh, and Primark for t-shirts and vests for layering - I don't buy nice ones anymore as I spill everything down myself on a regular basis.

rhodes2015 · 05/11/2015 22:29

im 30, asos is my go to shop. i have fads on topshop, miss selfridge, river island, warehouse & next.
