Just being nosy really! I'll start;

I'm 34 and shop at new look and asos. I've just found 'anthropologie' and would love to shop there but it's too pricy for me.

You?

mandy214 · 02/05/2015 12:06

Age: 34

Shape: Booby 10-12

Style: vintage/retro, 50's (without looking like I'm in costume) and occasional rock chick days.

Shops: Modcloth, Collectif, Trollied Dolly, Miss Patina, HeyDay, Miss Bamboo. Sometimes ASOS, Topshop, New Look and Forever 21 (Ha!),

Also vintage shops and fairs. And EBay. Lots of EBay.

snowgirl1 · 02/05/2015 12:14

44 - Warehouse, Oasis, Mint Velvet, M&S, Boden, Next, a little bit of Hobbs, occasionally Whistles (would like to be able to afford more of their stuff), occasionally French Connection

cressetmama · 02/05/2015 12:22

58, and it's TKMaxx, Uniqlo, and local shops from charity to posh (in the sale only). With the odd visit to EBay.

daftbesom · 02/05/2015 12:29

50 and I shop everywhere, but mostly:

M & Co and Charity Shops (small town girl!)
Pepperberry
Uniqlo
John Lewis/ White Stuff
occasionally: Oasis for their dresses, River Island, Ness.

SuperFlyHigh · 02/05/2015 12:29

I shop anywhere and everywhere.

Oasis for cheap up to date tops), River Island for amazing combats and shoes, Cos, &Other Stories, H&M.

Smarter end it's Nicole Farhi, Joseph, LK Bennett etc.

SuperFlyHigh · 02/05/2015 12:30

oh and 43 no kids but look 10 years younger so people say...

White Stuff occasionally although it's a bit dull at times
And I use a local boutique which sells a lot of Scandinavian labels - this is my favourite shop that I use most tbh.
Is uniqlo mainly in London? I only hear about in in here but have never seen a shop where I live.

KatharineClifton · 02/05/2015 14:39
  1. Ebay - Usually Next, I can get what I like without the high price tags.

New look. Asos. Sainsburys. Schuh for shoes (obviously :) ) .... If boden have a sale I might have a look but it's out of my price range generally.

poppyinstitches · 02/05/2015 14:48

i'm 45 and shop at Zara, Uniquo (love Ines de la fressange range) and trips to Bicester outlet village.

MrsUltracrepidarian · 02/05/2015 14:59

%4, but basically buy the same clothes I always did - dresses, skiny jeans, form ASDA, Primark, Zara, GAP, Tesco, Sainsburys. I think the advent of cheap, perfectly acceptable clothes in supermarkets has been completely liberating. Was at s House of Lords reception last year when someone gushed over my dress - was happy to say it cost £12 in Asda - could see her face trying to work out which 'label' I meant Grin

CeeceeBloomingdale · 02/05/2015 17:07

38 H&M and ASOS at the moment. When I have more cash I like Cos, Zara, &Other stories, debenhams for jeans, all saints

FrugalFashionista · 02/05/2015 18:00
  1. I really like H&M these days and Mango have stepped up their game (great jackets). The Danish chains are worth a look, Vila, Selected Femme, Second Female, Pieces. I mix it up with more expensive stuff like J Crew, Madewell, MiH, Comptoir etc and discounted designer (Yoox & Outnet), and the odd American item from Shopbop. COS is often good for basics, and so is, very surprisingly, Decathlon.

Anywhere really except primark. Everything falls apart from there after a wash or two so false economy.

I'm 46 and I shop in topshop, urban outfitters, asos, eBay, etsy and vintage shops.
I told a work colleague my age recently and they said I look about 12. Slight exaggeration but most people think I'm late 20 s early 30 s.

I'm 25 and mainly shop at asos or primark, I despise shopping in person but will go to primark for cheap essentials.

I hate everything coming from one place, so dull. I used to only shop in New Look basically, but asos does carry various brands so v convenient :)

Have just bought 3 tops from Tesco and am v impressed! Also my 'leather' jacket was an impulse by from George at Asda years ago and is great! Had a browse in Sainsburys Tu the other day and they did have some nice items too!

Would love to shop in more expensive high St shops but don't have the money! Going to look at some of the suggestions on this thread though :)

Oh, did get some lush maternity jeans and biker trousers from Vertbaudet!! Impressed with that too, good quality and not expensive.
