Kim Sears wedding dress

Surprised there's not a thread on this already...

Thoughts?

I think the back of the dress is beautiful but the front is far too big, makes her look frumpy (and she is anything but). Still, gorgeous woman

Wouldn't be surprised though if a mini Murray is en route!

Was really looking forward to seeing her dress as she is gorgeous and always looks so stylish, but I agree that although the sleeves and the back of the dress were beautiful, the front was too puffy and a bit baggy.

I loved how happy they both looked though.

LikeABadSethRogenMovie · 11/04/2015 20:55

CMC I laughed my head off at the first photo in that DM link. The bridesmaid on the right has the face of someone who wholeheartedly agrees with you!

Boutonneux · 11/04/2015 21:00

I love it but I agree with PP, it looks maybe a little bit too big?

They both looked so happy though, full on beaming smiles Grin

Admit to raising an eyebrow at his mother wearing white Hmm

DoTheDuckFace · 11/04/2015 21:06

I think the dress is gorgeous but didn't fit her properly which left her looking a bit saggy in the chest area. I also suspect a baby bump in there. Stunning woman though.

Flowersandvegatables · 11/04/2015 21:08

She is really pretty. The dress was toilet-dolly style though

BackOnPlanetEarth · 11/04/2015 21:09

I think they look really, really happy. Smile. It's sweet. I'm not a huge fan of the dress but it's still very beautiful. I love Andy's kilt though.

I'm Grin at Judy wearing the white coat - and as for her hat....... Oh deary me.

I love the flowers and the church and I love the way they did not hide away from the town.

Btw isn't it Confused to speculate on whether someone is pregnant or not. Hmm

She looked gorgeous and radiant. And I LOVE a kilt. Super classy traditional Scottish wedding.

GalindawithaGa · 11/04/2015 21:13

I love it and think she looks gorgeous, but agree hair up would have been nice. I just have a preference for hair up for weddings etc and particular where the back of the dress is a feature. They are a lovely couple though and look really happy.

noddyholder · 11/04/2015 21:13

I love it think its meant to be like that sort of overblown They look very happy

WinterBabyof89 · 11/04/2015 21:13

Her dress was lovely! Slightly loose fitting at the front which does look a tad frumpy - but the dress on the whole is gorgeous & really suits her..

His kilt is also a lovely colour as well..

But the bridesmaids dresses aren't my favourite - don't like the colour or the fit.. They looked like they had a wonderful day though :)

marshmallowpies · 11/04/2015 21:16

If you took the sleeves off that dress it would be exactly like the one my granny made me for my Sindy doll in the 80s, so for that reason I love it.

And I'm very glad to see (since Kate M) not all dresses are strapless these days. And they look very, very happy, which is what matters. SmileThanks

crje · 11/04/2015 21:16

The look so happy

Dress is lovely but doesn't flatter her.

acatcalledjohn · 11/04/2015 21:18

Ooh, no, that dress does her no favours in my opinion, and it does look like she might be hiding a beginning bump. However, I agree with MissBattleaxe that it is nice she avoided the strapless dress.

Not that any of that should matter at all when they look so happy Smile

CoperCabana · 11/04/2015 21:19

Aaah. I have looked again and it is not as bad as I thought. I just want to cinch it in a bit for her over the chest and then I think it would be perfect. Not a fan of Judy but thought she looked lovely and surely there is no issue with her wearing white. Seeing the photos have made me like this family more.

Ohmymg · 11/04/2015 21:27

I found myself refreshing news pages to see her dress today Blush

I love the detail on the sleeves and actually like the shape of the neckline, imo the skirt just seems a little too full for the top half of the dress. My first thought was baby bump.

She is stunning, and they both looked so incredibly happy

TheRealMaryMillington · 11/04/2015 21:31

She could have had something a little sleeker, but she looked radiant.

Bridesmaids dresses were a hideous colour.

FabulousFudge · 11/04/2015 21:33

It's not great and not what I imagined she'd look like at all. She is so pretty! I too think she's pregnant.

cuntyMcCunterson · 11/04/2015 21:35

And I've just realised nothing to do with the style of the dress that they have the same piper as I did at my wedding Grin

specialmagiclady · 11/04/2015 21:38

I just came on to say that my parents got married at Dunblane Cathedral!

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 11/04/2015 21:43

Love it. Also thought baby bump cover up a possibility but so what?!

They all look super happy :)

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 11/04/2015 21:50

Utterly radiant but the dress didn't flatter at all

LOL at Judy wearing white

aFirmGrip · 11/04/2015 23:17

The bridesmaids' dresses were worse. Awful shade of pink.

She is such a pretty girl but the dress was quite odd. Short-waisted and puffy around the boobs. Also her hair usually looks so fab but today...it didn't.

Anyway, they looked adorable together and blissfully happy (poss in the family way already?) and that is absolutely the main thing.

aFirmGrip · 11/04/2015 23:17

Judy looked FAB

Ijustworemytrenchcoat · 11/04/2015 23:48

My first thought was pregnant too, you can see the sort of empire line from the back, and she is normally tiny bug her bust looks much bigger. I like the style of the dress, but if she's not pregnant them I suppose it's not a flattering style.

She looked lovely, I liked get hair.

TendonQueen · 11/04/2015 23:53

Just seen it. I love it. Sleeves are terrific (I don't like strapless either) and so is the belt. They both look ecstatic.
