They have some great pointy, spiky ankle boots with cut-outs in the side in Autograph. They also had, before Christmas, some excellent Autograph pointed courts, lovely leather and leather lined. Both the shoes and the boots look a lot more expensive than they were; the shoes were similar in quality and style to some Prada shoes I got in a sale. I often have a look at their shoes, because there are some gems amongst the wretched footglove orthopaedic stuff.
One of my friends says that M&S is one of the few shops where you can buy medium heels. I don't do less than 4 inches myself.
I saw a bright pink waffle coat today in Per Una (yes, I know, don't judge me, I have never bought anything from this section) which I thought was lovely for spring.
I also rate their Best of British range, which you only seem to be able to buy online. They have re-done a lovely wool skirt that they sold last autumn, and this time they made it long enough for the women who can afford to buy this range (clue: 35+) to wear to work. The previous incarnation was too short. So they are obviously getting some things right!
