I liked ( and bought) this in black www.marksandspencer.com/v-neck-jumper/p/p22379655 - obv usual website disclaimer. Pity not in a better fabric but will look ace with a vest under and my leatherette trousers.

also this coat was LOVELY in grey www.marksandspencer.com/buttonsafe-wool-blend-double-breasted-coat-with-cashmere/p/p22312160

and would have liked this if not so long www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-rich-striped-pencil-skirt/p/p22357825 here

That shirt actually looks really good on the model Shock but is it shiny?

Armpitt · 25/01/2015 18:05

obv the pic itself looks dire [sigh]

I didnt see in store

Someone says it's 'hammered silk' in the reviews - think that is shiny.

Bunbaker · 25/01/2015 19:09

Given that a great number of women have had their colours done why do some clothes shops still insist on only selling colours for one season?

I never go clothes shopping in autumn as autumnal colours just don't suit me.

noddyholder · 25/01/2015 20:09

The shoes aren't great this time but I tried a Queen mum type pair on in the shop with black skinny trousers and they were nice and would be good for work as quite smart. Surprisingly stylish on and really comfortable Can't see on website.

Dancergirl · 26/01/2015 00:05

I've bought the coat in grey, thanks armpitt, more money spent! Grin

Hope it's nice, I've been after a nice coat for ages.

QueenQueenie · 26/01/2015 00:10

I bought this yesterday - leopard skirt. It's really nice irl and v nice fabric.

RingtheBells · 26/01/2015 07:49

20% off today

Silverjohnleggedit · 26/01/2015 08:03

I got the textured bomber - it's a bit itchy, but v cheap given I got 25% off, so I will probably keep it because I can't find a slim navy bomber elsewhere and I need one to go with my 50s style midi.

Armpitt · 26/01/2015 08:09

Love. Need to step away from animal print myself now

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 26/01/2015 08:11

Woo - going to order those shoes today

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/01/2015 08:32

I've got an M&S leopard print pencil skirt from a few seasons ago and like it a lot. The fabric is lovely (something like 97% cotton and 3% elastane), but I probably should have sized down.

Can't see any shoes that I like, but my taste in shoes seems not to be the same as anybody else's on here!

RingtheBells · 26/01/2015 08:33

I've just ordered those shoes in black Smile

DandyHighwayman · 26/01/2015 08:35

There was a great flamingo print dress the other week but in petite range only, grrr

Armpitt · 26/01/2015 08:36

I had that skirt. Sized down too much and ripped lining

noddyholder · 26/01/2015 08:42

hauntedhenry · 26/01/2015 09:49

Argh. Just ordered the Palm print dress. I shouldn't be allowed on here Grin

FlossieTreadlight · 26/01/2015 10:01

You rotters, I was only having a nose at the thread and I've just spent £70!

frankietwospots · 26/01/2015 11:32

On another note entirely, their stationery is brilliant this year. Lots of bright hues. I'm determined that my desk will look stylish this year so off to buy a few goodies with the 20% off!

My local M&S is a permanent sea of lurid cashmilion and Casual Collection - and the website "styling" is so wacktacular I'm rarely tempted.

While the M&S posse is here, has anyone else been told that any final reduction sale goods ending in 99p are unreturnable or refundable, even for a credit note? I thought I'd maybe misunderstood, but now two different stores have made a huge deal of it at the till point. I asked what I should do if the shoes I was thinking of buying didn't go with the clothes I wanted to try them on with, and the assistant said, 'You could always regift them to a friend.' Confused
