Cheap perfume that you enjoyed?

I've noticed you MN-ers have very expensive taste in perfume. I just blind bought madonnas 'truth or dare' for under a tenner, and...I like it!

It's strong stuff!

So I thought I'd ask.. What bargains have you discovered in the world of smellies?

Vesta ....Avon have discontinued Femme by Herve Leger I am gutted since its my favourite.

I love Red Door almost out of that too but cheap enough to buy again

Bumping to say that having a sample of Annick Goutal's Eau du Sud on this morning, I can confirm Yardley Jade is even more of a deadringer for this, than it is for Chanel Cristalle.

Yardley Jade is mouthwateringly good - I prefer it to Cristalle. Try layering a cheap EDT with a pricier EDP from the same scent family e.g. I love one spritz of Miss Dior Le Parfum spread between pulse points, then spritz all over with Jade and use Jade to top up during day - both scents are chypre-florals.

Milton lloyd 'smell like' perfumes are pretty good. I use 'Vogue' for work days now instead of Chanel no5.

My favourite perfume was one called le feu de issy by issy miyake but it was discontinued after a year of 2. They brought out a light version but it didn't smell anything like the original. I loved that perfume.
