Cheap perfume that you enjoyed?

I've noticed you MN-ers have very expensive taste in perfume. I just blind bought madonnas 'truth or dare' for under a tenner, and...I like it!

It's strong stuff!

So I thought I'd ask.. What bargains have you discovered in the world of smellies?

Pur blanca (spl? ) Avon.

I quite like Avon 'Far Away' - is floral/oriental..

Today's little treasure is "Intrigue", I think it's an 80's perfume, from Ebay for £3. It's a cosy, warm yet fresh smell, reminds me a little bit of dried flowers. Very calming.

SJP Lovely - always get compliments when I wear it too.
I found the Lidl ones rank and use them as air fresheners in the loo now!

Diesel Plus Plus Feminine. about a tenner on Amazon. it's discontinued so at some point i will panic-buy about 15 bottles. it's cheapo but GORGEOUS and i always get compliments on it.

I have also treated myself to some Yves Rocher, my Mum got me a tester and it was lovely so I hope I got the right one

Charlie anything, I have Red, Blue, Pink, Black, White, Gold and Silver, they are cheap but not horrible. White and Silver are my summer favorites, they're so light and fresh!
I have Avon Rare Sapphires, which I remember having a tester bottle of back in the 90s, so when they re released it a few years ago I had to get it.
Yardley Diamonds is amazing, and I have English Rose and English Lavender too, for when I want to smell like flowers.

I used to wear Versace red jeans as a teenager and still love it now! Can get a bottle for about a tenner in boots.

I've bought perfume from fragrance direct, it's a Web site. Can't say I've found cheap perfumes I like, although as a teenager I used the White Musk mentioned up thread for a good few years.

as per the PP I do 'keel over with nostalgia' whenever I smell white musk :o

I love Avon's Little Black Dress

Not sure if its available outside the US but I currently use a Walmart body spray after bath, Bodycology's Cherish The Moment. Its on the verge of being a bit too girly for my taste but its only six dollars and a bottle lasts ages, plus the scent lasts well.

I've got one from H&M that I love. It's all tropical fruits and coconut - very much like every single Escada perfume but for £7.99

So? Eternal. £2.00 from Savers. Absolutely love it.

Fenjal body spray spray is gorgeous!

My teens scoff at me buying it - saying it's a granny scent - but when ever i spray it on they (and DH) always comment that i smell nice as i pass by.

I found an empty one in the bedroom bin of no.2 DD recently so HA! Caught you!

Next Rouge Absolue is gorgeous, if you like sweet perfume.

Be careful of SJP Lovely. On some people it smells really nice but on me it smelt like cat wee!

Yardley Jade is splendid- like Chanel Cristalle but sharper and greener.

I usually get whatever is on offer from Avon.
I've tried loads of Avon ones and had a lot of people at work saying
'you smell nice what is it? '
They're always really surprised when I tell them.

I like some of the next ones, they're

dupes apparently for other makes. I've had Define (Armani She) and Gold (YSL Cinema). They smell really nice but not as strong as the 'proper' perfume.
