Cheap perfume that you enjoyed?

I've noticed you MN-ers have very expensive taste in perfume. I just blind bought madonnas 'truth or dare' for under a tenner, and...I like it!

It's strong stuff!

So I thought I'd ask.. What bargains have you discovered in the world of smellies?

My cheap thrill, apart from Perfume Parlour dupes, is Osmanthus from Roger & Gallet at the local chemist. It's just pretty, fresh and easy.

I love Imogen Rose and Lust from Lush.

I really like smelling like an old lady so, Yardley English Daisey, and Paul Smith Rose suit me.

Hawaiian dimestore jasmine.

Red Door by Elizabeth Arden - cheap as chips and someone told me last week that I smelt lovely.

Also Cool Water Wave by Davidoff - possibly more a summer/holiday perfume - only £10 in B&M.

also one of those cheapo places that's not SUperdrug or Semichem....Bodyworks maybe?? I got a tonne of Coty L'aimant for my Ma and picked up a Jovan White Musk...I was hoping to find Just Musk, but this is similar enough and whips me right back to the eighties!

Next White Amber is almost identical to The White Company Amber Noir. The latter is often hard to get and three times the price.

I always have a 4711 body spray in my bag. Makes you feel very fresh during a work day.

I love a perfume called 'Baroque'. Can't remember who makes it. I think it's out of production now, I had to go to some effort to get hold of some. But I love it. It has an unusual scent and it makes me feel beautiful.

I love Primark's PS Love Noir perfume. I mean, it's Primark, I wasn't expecting anything much, but it's gorgeous. it's bound to be a knock off of something else- if anyone knows what, please tell me as I'd happily pay full whack for the real thing.

I wore Body Shop Morroccan Rose on my wedding day and have a tiny bit left in the bottle - I sniff it occasionally and am transported back in time... think it cost less than a tenner.

I got told I smelled 'absolutely gorgeous'..... I was wearing Avon Incandessence!!

Also wear Sarah Jessica Parkers Lovely' as it was on offer in Savers, £15 for 100ml and its....well, it's lovely

I also wear Suddenly/Madame Glamour from there as a daytime perfume. As a secondary teacher one of the girls asked about my perfume she liked it. When I said it was from Lidl.... The look of disgust on her face was priceless!
