OK, following on from 'Bag Recommendations for £900 thread', I took the 'bag by the handles' and started a bag lovers thread. This is not a 'OMG why would you spend that amount on a bag' thread, its purely a lust thread.

Oh bag gurus, I need inspiration. I need a work bag, big enough to get a mac air in and an a4 file. I've had a couple of lovely Anya's seeing me through summer. Have a lanvin shoulder for day I don't need lug crap around with. Budget is £800. Could push up a touch for a bag if adore. Don't want black, maybe grey or teal or blue. Any ideas? Not a huge fan of goldware. Thanks!

Except in a beautiful pale dove grey/mauve. It was divine. Don't know why I can't find a photo of it online. Unless I hallucinated it. Which is possible .

Evening ladies,
I've been tidying my wardrobes today. Everything looks neat and organised, but all my bags are lined up at the top. It's not a great place for them to be kept and they are a bit squashed.
Where do you keep yours?

karbea I stock them in dust bags and put them in a drawer , I don't have loads of bags though, so I can get away with it Without getting them squashed

I only have one properly expensive bag. It's still in the box it came in. I take it out from time to time and stroke it lovingly

How does it hold its shape when it has stuff in it? And wouldn't it get a bit unbalanced when you're carrying it?

I don't like that at all, not symmetrical enough for me.

It does make more sense in the flesh. The flat bit sits flat against the body when wearing the shoulder strap so it's comfy, plus it's soft slouchy leather. It holds symmetrically, it's just the position of the zips and seams that make it look like that iyswim.
