OK, following on from 'Bag Recommendations for £900 thread', I took the 'bag by the handles' and started a bag lovers thread. This is not a 'OMG why would you spend that amount on a bag' thread, its purely a lust thread.

I love a crossbody...my bag porn at the mo is the Celine Trio or Chanel WOC. Or Gucci Soho Disco. For the time being, I'm still loving my old Anya Hindmarsh Gracie. Today I'm flogging old stuff on ebay to raise funds....saving madly!

Hermes Jypsière in bright orange has also caught my eye... at nearly £5k I shall only swoon though!

I have got so many lusting-for-with-all-my-heart bags when I stop to think about it that I have to not go there too often, heh. It's really hard to choose which one to actually invest in. At least I have a good long time in which to mull it over, until I can afford the next one

Oh no I see what you mean, it sort of does look pleated. It's strips of leather sewn onto suede. So each one is fastened rather than loose.

The celine trio is gorgeous monstrouscarbuncle, altho I would struggle to pick which colour cobalt blue as i'd want them all & wear them like in the advert!

A lovely cobalt blue has got to be one of the nicest colours for a statement bag.

Celine at bicester has been rubbish on the couple of occasions I've been in.

Bicester village has been appauling the last twice i've been.... both because its heaving and the offering & discount are not that good... plus its a bit of a flog from here!
