Forgot to recommend Guerlain Joli Teint, lovely and light and smells gorgeous.

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2014 16:20

Hello Cows. And they bloody well I, I actually hate cows and dread walking through fields of them they can charge you know, don't be fooled by those sweet eyes bloody dangerous creatures if you ask me.

I'm wearing a silk French connection sleeveless
shirt in burnt orange with my orange Gigis and jeans......I'm channelling la Shop and doing a "Demi tuck" get me

Marsha I took a pic of my feet in their blue nailed and foot bikini glory to post on here to freak you out....but the photo freaked me out and I had to delete it Sad Grin

Secretsquirrel13 · 10/06/2014 16:28

Yes not to mention the number if times you get stuck in traffic waiting for them to cross the road and go in for their dinner

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/06/2014 16:46

Lol dry, and fedup - free speakers are very odd.

Yep decam think I will just have to throw money at the problem and keep trying different heel grips. I'm just afraid of buying expensive shoes and then not being able to return them. Lovely R&B flats, they're exactly the sort of thing I'd be flopping in and out of! Hope the move went well :)

Decam what are the sizes like on those h&m shorts?

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2014 18:07

Anni just watching last episode of season 2...DH working from home is Shock but Grin taking notes? Wink and I'm going to change me voice mail to Carrie's "hi it's dry! I'm buying shoes!"

Hopefully · 10/06/2014 18:13

I keep laughing at foot bikini! Incidentally, does anyone bit footed have gigis? Don't think I've ever seen them in anything above a size 7, I'm an 8.

Liberty that dress is actually really lovely. Always worry about fabric gathers/draping when I'm fatter than normal though - it always looks so much better draped over a slim body!

AmberNectarine · 10/06/2014 18:18

Blair all my high end shoes have kind of built in heel grips (Louboutin, Gucci). Maybe you just need really expensive shoes?

Sleepwhenidie · 10/06/2014 19:09

Welcome cows Smile

Lib that dress is lovely and so you, I think you should get it and wear for work if you don't have any other occasion!

The JP mini arrived and doesn't fit - shame as I think it would be really useful. So that's going back, along with the maxi (just meh). this dress however, is an immediate keeper. It feels gorgeous on, great for this weather and one I can do with flat sandals in daytime or dress up a bit with a cuff and heels for summer evenings I thought...

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/06/2014 19:09

Don't tempt me Amber! Wink This is why I don't own any expensive shoes, as they'd have to be perfect, but I do expect they would be better. I think my feet are probably too wide for Louboutins (so I've read), but does anyone know which shoe brands (high end or otherwise!) would be more likely to fit a foot that's wide at the front and narrow at the back?

sorry for the foot talk Marsha Grin

OneLittleLady · 10/06/2014 19:13

blair I have the exact same problem with shoes and I'm also a half size so that doesn't help. In boots I have to size up and in most shoes I have to size down to the next whole size with a wide fitting if available. I always take a size smaller in sandals though, always.

Turquoiseblue · 10/06/2014 19:15

Did you get a CDC code dec? I ve been watching for one or the sale for one for a while but in their site it s still all full price?

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2014 19:16

Haha Blair. I can do shoe talk Grin

I can't do Louboutin for same reason, nor can I do dainty ballerinas from French Sole. But I love Isabel Marant heels and they fit well.

Sleep I love that dress, gosh it's dangerous on here atm! So much good stuff. I'd love it.

Making me laugh with the foot talk. But it was worth it because I have isolated my fear- squished toes in heels.

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2014 19:19

Liberty I love that dress, it would look lovely on you. mu?

Decam lovely CdeC stuff, great colours.

Secretsquirrel13 · 10/06/2014 19:21

Forgot to say hi to cows (got a bit carried away noaning about actual cows!).
Laughed at the foot bikini. I love my gigis but I do have small feet hopefully.
I have ordered several of these I have high hopes for it but would appreciate any advice on shoes/sandals to go with. Have had a few ideas maybe some tan wedge sandals? Or Dune have some Alaia-alike tan leather sandals. Will link when dc asleep.

LinusDKD · 10/06/2014 19:30

sleep that is a gorgeous dress and very versatile as you say.

decam I might see if they have those denim shorts in my local H&M tomorrow or otherwise I might have to do as mara suggests.

Not sure if I can carry off cut-offs though.

Welcome cows!

Great dress secret and cotton as well.

I ordered some bracelets today after seeing them on The Londoner blog (I know, not everyone's cup of tea but I like her). Will try and find a link.

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2014 19:39

Secret LOVE that dress...I really really like a slash neck small bust and the print is gorgeous must wear something floral to MU

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2014 19:44

Secret I love it too! What is the sizing like? Zara is tiny isn't it, agh I really like it.

Welcome Cows!

MarshaBrady · 10/06/2014 19:46

Linus that is pretty.

Secretsquirrel13 · 10/06/2014 19:47

Yes Marsha it is tiny and quality control is rubbish so I've ordered 2 in M and 2 in L they have been shipped alreadyGrin
Shoes wise I am struggling. I thought maybe something like these Alaia ones I've always loved

Hopefully · 10/06/2014 19:49

That's a lot of identical dresses secret Grin. Marsha that dress would be fab on you.

Decameron · 10/06/2014 19:52

If you sign up to their website you should see the sale prices, Turquoise. The general sale starts on Thurs but a lot of sizes were gone in my local shop.

Mara, will have a look out for houses for you! Maybe Richmond?

Anni, the shorts run a little big, I'd say. I got my usual size 29 and they are loose but I wanted them that way.

Sleep I love that grey dress, gorgeous.

Secretsquirrel13 · 10/06/2014 19:53

But these are similar in style but a poor substitute.
Linus I quite like the Londoner too, often read on my way to work it reminds me of a different time in my life (I like to pretend I still have that lifeGrin).
