Had about 2hrs sleep last night, Ds2 isn't sleeping very well for some reason.
It was bad the night before too.

I'm now going cross eyed after typing those dates out! :o

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/06/2014 11:52

Ooh thanks so much Anni and Grazia! I have copied and pasted the list to a word doc saved on my desktop with the cunning name of "Sales" Wink Seems next week will be busy!

I like that playsuit Stokey. I wore my bargain £10 atterley road one on holiday but didn't realise that as soon as I moved around it would basically reveal all. I had left my tit tape at home, but luckily I had a small safety pin, so I pinned it from behind the fabric. This worked really well until I was halfway through my night out and needed to use the loo...

Sleepwhenidie · 10/06/2014 11:52

Quick question please Shop, how did the JP mini come up size wise? They have 0 or 2 and I'm thinking of ordering but the 1 in the maxi is great...

LinusDKD · 10/06/2014 12:25

Aaargh! Just tried to order the denim shorts from Gap, got to checkout only to notice they want to charge me about £25 for p&p. And not for express delivery, no! For delivery in 7 to 11 days.

You cannot be serious!

Are they completely mad! Why would I pay that amount of p&p for a pair of shorts that are only marginally more expensive?

Rant over!

Anyone have recommendations for denim shorts?

Thanks anni for the list!

LinusDKD · 10/06/2014 12:27

Lovely jumpsuits and playsuits btw everyone!

I tried on a great playsuit at H&M last week and it looked brilliant but it was 100% polyester so I didn't buy it. It would stick to me and be all smelly in these temperatures.

Stokey · 10/06/2014 12:28

Great list Anni

For any of you with Frozen obsessed DCs, the dolls are back in stock in Argos (someone just posted in Chat). Am picking mine up tomorrow to give to them in July.

Annianni · 10/06/2014 12:36

I've started a thread with the sales dates on, even if nobody else posts on the thread, next year I can do a search on myself to get the dates again :o

shopafrolic · 10/06/2014 12:39

Sleep do you mean the mini black dress with the boxer back? Mine is a 4 which sits loose on me but that's fine as I don't want it tight for around the pool. I reckon a 3 would have been better for me. I'm a size 12 now.....

Thanks Cowsarescary and welcome Smile

Anni well done on all the typing - great list to have. I have just copied and pasted it too.

Blair you own tit tape!!! does it work???

That is a completely crazy charge for delivery Linus

Stokey Thanks I have just reserved mine too! DD watched Frozen on hols (her first film) and loved it (though bits of it scared her)

shopafrolic · 10/06/2014 12:40

Anni well done for typing that out - I'd have gone "Grazia have a list on page x"

Thank you Shop back soon for a catch up!

shopafrolic · 10/06/2014 12:48

Ooo - how did I miss a newbie? Stick around Cowsarescary - thanks for the tip off.

So much has gone though, including the black dress with the back zip admired by someone's husband upthread.

libertychick · 10/06/2014 13:40

Ha - there will be flustered husbands all over the land!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/06/2014 13:43

Welcome cows! (Lol, that sounds rude, sorry)

liberty the "reason I own tit tape" tale is quite long, I'll try to be brief (been meaning to start a thread actually). Basically I can't wear shoes that don't have anything to hold them onto my feet. One day I was desperate (for a wedding) and The Internet recommended Hollywood Fashion Tape to keep shoes on - apparently loads of people swear by it. It absolutely doesn't work btw! But now I have a cute little tin of tit tape (sorry, fashion tape) in my bag . Except when I needed it!

But I still don't know why I can't wear slip ons. I just walk out of all of them. Am I wearing the wrong size? Do I have small heels? Am I just walking wrong? It's so annoying. Does anyone else have this?

libertychick · 10/06/2014 13:59

My mum does that Blair and reckons it's because she has high arches. I sometime go up half a size in shoes especially if they have a bit of a heel and I put these heel grips in to keep my foot in which seems to work well but I am guessing you may have already tried these?

libertychick · 10/06/2014 14:47

I wish I had a wedding to go to....

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/06/2014 14:52

Thanks liberty I do have very high arches, sounds like there is not much I can do about it then? I haven't tried those specific heel grips, they look nice and thick though, I've only tried the Boots-type suede ones before. But then my feet slip downwards too, maybe need to size down?
I just want one really nice pair of plain black heeled pumps I can walk in!

In other shoe news my friend went to the Louboutin sample sale on Friday and got 3 pairs Envy Envy Envy

I bought Red mag at lunch just for the free Mavala nail varnish. They have dark blue, red, orange and pale pink (I got orange) :)

That Tory Burch dress is beautiful and summery.

Hopefully · 10/06/2014 15:14

That TB dress is pretty Liberty. I actually do have a wedding to go to (in 5 weeks, help! I have nothing to wear!) but anything other than a pencil shape skirt looks appalling on me.

Thanks for the sales list Anni Smile.

Today's clothes shopping is utterly glamorous - a huge sports bra to fit in BFing boobs and a pair of (sports) shorts.

Fedupnagging · 10/06/2014 15:17

Lovely TB dress Blair. Btw, a friend has used Hillary's and they did a pretty good job although not that cheap.

Hi to Cows and Hopefully. Lovely picture - I love a newborn baby.Smile

Not sure who was asking about GAP but their sizing is generous.

Met some friends last night and one was wearing the most gorgeous yellow whistles dress from last year. I have spent ages looking for a picture to link as I think you would all like it but sadly can't find it. I wore white boden skinnies, gigis (yay) and a floaty kaftan type top in reds, blues and yellow. most people kept their sunnies on for some reason

libertychick · 10/06/2014 15:21

Dress for your wedding in 5 weeks Hopefully...saw it earlier and thought of you and Shop. Good BF access as well.

Decameron · 10/06/2014 15:28

Hi everyone. Took a little break and moved house. Mara, so you won't be moving near me? Sad

Blair, glad you had a good holiday & I have high arches too. Must try those heel grips. I don't mind toe cleavage but then am a Gigi fan. They kept slipping when I drove earlier though, must remember not to wear them for driving. Had to go and buy these shoes to get home!

Shop, DHL have just collected that JP dress you ordered. The 2 will fit you. I got a 2 (am a UK12 also) and it fit fine, just was too fitted and short for what I wanted it for (the school run/supermarket, basically!).

Great sales list, Anni. Hope DS sleeps tonight.

I'm done with the sales until Me & Em, I had a brief few days when I was off clothes shopping as was fed up with packing but then the Comptoir sale started so bought this jacket, a parka, cardigan and this top. Now on a break again.

Lovely skirt, Liberty and Marsha, I think the jumpsuit will look great on you. Can't remember anything else, will read back.

Decameron · 10/06/2014 15:35

Linus, I have these denim shorts which are a nice fit.

Fedupnagging · 10/06/2014 16:05

Free portable speakers are not a dress purchasing inducement IMHO - or is it just me Hmm

Nice purchases Decameron. Hope you have settled into your new home ok. Shame you can't drive in your gigis but hey, you've got a new pair of shoes anyway. I can't drive in wellies.

Decameron · 10/06/2014 16:14

I think that's a bizarre HOF offer, Fedup!

I'm a bit worried my gigis will snap when I'm driving. Ballet shoes safer!
