I think the GR pumps have just the right amount of toe cleavage. Not too much!

Glad you kept the EC dress Marsha, I see it passed the "wearing it straightaway" test :)

We had Hillarys round tonight to do a rough quote for various curtains. Has anyone used them before? I wanted to use John Lewis, but we have a big bay window and the pole alone would be v v expensive!

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 21:28

I know. But sandals arh

Gap is tricky. Plus all the length options.

justasecond · 09/06/2014 21:29

I used to be like that about feet too Marsha and DH hates feet (apart from mine) but over the last year I have realised no one really looks at feet that closely. I still don't wear sandals v often in fact have only worn on holiday this year so far and I don't do gigi/flip flops, too much exposure. In fact I cringed when I read the gigi described as "bikini for the feet" bleaurgh!

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 21:35

Oh gawd Justa I shuddered.

Blair true! Am slightly ignoring that I have so few summer clothes that I had to!

LinusDKD · 09/06/2014 21:36

I'll never post another picture of my feet on MNV then! Sorry if I offended anyone! Grin

Love this but it's the wrong colour for me.

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 21:41

No no Linus it's my feet! I can handle all yours, promise.

justasecond · 09/06/2014 21:49

Yes Linus your feet are lovely and I'm sure yours are just fine too Marsha
That is a lovely dress Linus, I just love that colour, in fact I love mint green, seagreen and all sorts of green atm. Not sure its a great colour for me either though.

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2014 21:49

Oh my god Linus I almost linked that very dress for you last night!!!!

Feet aversion therapy needed for Marsha!!!!!

LinusDKD · 09/06/2014 21:56

Spooky dry! I had you in mind when I linked it just now!

I think it's more your colour, no?

libertychick · 09/06/2014 22:00

Marsha I had a flatmate once who begged all of us to wear socks or slippers at all times as she could not stand feet! We did it (mostly because it was a cold house) Grin I'm not crazy about my feet - in particular I don't like my little toes but I love wearing sandals as they feel so good on a hot day.

Toe cleavage - hmmm, it can look great but often it just looks like feet are squashed. I was at a meeting today with a woman wearing very, very high black courts with lots of toe cleavage - I don't know enough about shoes to even guess the brand but they looked expensive. I kept staring at her feet as all I could think was how uncomfortable they looked. When she left my male colleague immediately said 'how does she walk in those?' Grin

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 22:06

Liberty yes! It makes the shoes look very uncomfortable. I have been looking at the models' feet. Especially if they are very high.

libertychick · 09/06/2014 22:06

I haven't used Hillary's Blair. But then I have very cheap curtains Blush

My outnet delivery arrived today as well. Ladies, I present the most perfect black pencil skirt ever It's a really good fit on me and has a side slit that zips and raw edges making it a bit more edgy looking that the M&S versions I have tended to default to over the years. It's love I tell ya! Flowers (yet again) for Shop who found it.

Turquoiseblue · 09/06/2014 22:15

That dress is so pretty Linus. Are you going to get it?

I don't like feet either, well I don't mind them if they re clean and nails tidy , but I really feel ill when I see flaky dry feet - you know end of summer etc..... Gives me th creeps.
I m currently wearing paleberry.blogspot.ie/2012/05/opi-orange-comparison.html this on my toes - change from red. Like it.

Good call on the et re dress Marsha - I like the graphic.

Toe cleavage- it s ok as long as the shoes fit - in the pic you linked, it looks like the toe is crumpled and it s squished, not good.

shopafrolic · 09/06/2014 22:16

Yay Liberty - so chuffed!
Sorry to be late,I was watching Mr Beckham looking hot and sweaty.
I'm going to be v paranoid if I'm wearing sandals when we next meet Marsha
Dry PM'd you back
Linus I am a size 10 in GAP skinny chinos and boyfriend shorts. Size 12 in the legging jeans but they do give a lot. Happy to measure them if that's what you're after? Size down 1 if not 2 sizes.

I may need to get you a prize Shop, seriously the perfect black pencil skirt is one of my holy grail items! And now I have it

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 22:25

Nah don't worry Shop. It's fine. I was half joshing bit it's just my feet.

Liberty I love that skirt.

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 22:26

I agree Turq they look squished.

Annianni · 09/06/2014 22:28

Fab skirt Liberty.

My toes are coral today.
I do like a bit of toe cleavage, as long as the shoe fits properly, not all squished.

Dry, how nice does Jbj look?!
He doesn't seem to age.
I've almost finished series 4

BrandyAlexander · 09/06/2014 22:33

Love all the links! I think my favourite is Marsha's skirt. Oh and that gorgeous broderie dress. Love Shop's bikini too as I think I have it and also the JP ruched dress. I need to sort out my Selfridges haul as I have a few returns. I am waiting for Me&Em sale before I spend any more.

BrandyAlexander · 09/06/2014 22:37

Jbj....I was sooo going to marry that man, 25 years ago.Grin He's still mine!

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2014 22:41

I just bought a black jumpsuit, as I saw a pic of a friend looking so good in it. Will be interesting!

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2014 22:50

I like that dress a lot linus and the colour too but I think the length would be all wrong and doesn't look like it can be shortened.

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2014 22:51

Marsha if anyone can make a jumpsuit look incredible it will be you

Sleepwhenidie · 09/06/2014 23:04

Sad... The A&O dress looks rubbish on me. Think my waist must be in a funny place...or the waist on the dress is Wink. If I put the waistline of the dress at my natural waist/slimmest point then the skirt makes my hips look massive, pull it down and the baggy top of the dress makes it look like my boobs hang down to the waistband! Boo. JP maxi is incredibly comfy but pretty unforgiving in terms of lumps and bumps...will sleep on that one and see what DH thinks.

Got a link for the jumpsuit Marsha?
