On the body thing, of course I include healthy and slim in perfectly acceptable shapes. There's no one way to be. And there's been impressive effort on here to change and feel good. But I am interested in cutting out the bad chat as the dc will be better for it.

Tempted to go in to look at flats. When does the J Crew sale start I wonder?

Just try it Marsha, am sure you will make it look cool and not at all sesame street (that made me laugh!). I think it would look good with a leather biker.

Just did an order of winter items (ha!) from River Island... Leather skirt (had my eye on it for a while, can't justify a high end high street/designer one really, so hope it's nice) and fake shirt collar (hopefully the answer to my ironing woes, under a crew neck jumper). God I am lazy!

Amber I meant to say I thought it was funny how similar WIT's blog post yesterday was to yours, same subject, but completely different/reversed message! I do like her blog but it is ludicrous sometimes... "capsule wardrobe" of 5 swimsuits costing over £600, anyone?
She has made me want a 1 piece now though, dammit!

Haha sometimes I think I'm wearing a jumper can I get away with just ironing the top bit. But then half the faff is getting started and think oh may as well do the whole thing. I'm not the best ironer but it passes (just).

The shoes have arrived and are lovely. Very comfortable too.

I also bought these diamante stud earrings as I have long blonde hair which will look better in an updo for a wedding. Plus as the dress is quite detailed I think it is better to have simple accessories.

Just sitting here tapping my feet waiting for the Damsel In A Dress delivery. It had better come in time!!

Shoes are lovely Hampton they look the kind of heel height I might be able to cope with. Will have to go for a try on.

Sorry, meant to say, I loved Ambers blog. I honesty feel like I hate my body sometimes and I know how unhealthy that is and how it must sound to my teenage daughter.

It's just so hard to reprogramme my thoughts after years of self abuse. Even when I was a size eight I thought I looked hideous.

Oh Hampton that sounds tough, I know you wouldn't have, but it can be hard. Sleep is great at unpicking all those types of emotions.

Sounds cool! I'm very boring in black skinny cropped jeans, a black lace tee and black leather biker. Have black and white leopard print satin slippers and my silver bag to liven it up. Oh and a kenzo tiger ring!

thanks Amber your outfit sounds nice too. I've found I'm getting more confident putting clothes together since I've lost a bit of weight, I was always a quirky dresser according to my sister but I know feel like I can wear what I want and not be bothered if other people don't like it, IYSWIM?

Amber assuming you're meaning the James Perse dress not the Hush one.... do you think it'll work on me at 5ft 9/10ish? The length is the thing that concerns me - and no please don't tell me about the bargains price you paid . Unless it is fabulous it has to go back.......

Leaving here in less than an hour to travel to the midlands and still haven't decided what top I'm actually wearing.

I think it will shop, I kind of ruche mine up a bit as it's almost midi length.

I just followed a next link from another S&B thread and saw a beauty. I love this jumpsuit. Just love it. Of course it's sold out in 6 petite.

Sleep, I am wearing my jimmy choo swaroski and satin pumps. I have said it before but cpw those babies are practically free now! I think swaroski handbag (not sure which), tennis bracelet, raindance ring and the diamond and sapphire necklace dh got me. For those who haven't met me, I know it sounds like it but I swear I don't actually look like a Christmas tree!!

Shop, I wasn't sure about the JP dress but you're right Amber looks terrific and you will too.
