Turq I love that jumpsuit, it's great!

Secret the proliferation of mascara is crazy. Even Lancôme Hypnose had loads of different ones, this one lengthens, this one adds volume. I really don't buy it, I bet they all do the same thing (at that level).

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2014 19:13

I agree Marsha... All we want is one decent mascara that lengthens and thickens and stays on in water , not difficult.

Topazandpearl · 23/05/2014 19:41

No Marsha to us northerners, "Fancy a brew?" resonates so much more than "Fancy a cup of tea?" Grin

I hope you are feeling better QueenC. Bickering children really do get to you and I think it is good for them to realise how upsetting it is for you, so don't feel bad.

If Blair checks in, hope you have a great holiday.

Sleep congrats on the website! looks great.

Not properly caught up as I have been finishing packing but have a lovely half term everyone.

LinusDKD · 23/05/2014 19:46

queenc Wine for you!

I am currently wearing my harems, a very neon yellow J Crew tee (think tennis ball) and an old but oh so comfy charcoal cardigan. Perfect for watching some telly with a glass of wine and some ice cream as my periods have started

LinusDKD · 23/05/2014 19:52

Is it wrong that I love these ?

shopafrolic · 23/05/2014 19:56

Linus sorry but.... STEP AWAY FROM THE WINE. No to the dungarees from me.
Evening all.
Dry I haven't tried the dress yet but could be good for garden / Provence.
My DM came round this morning and bought me a guide book for Provence so I am even more excited now. No fashion news. Still living in GAP skinny minnies. Decam if I had some ££ I would definitely buy more. I'm sure another 30% off will be along soon.....

But I've always wanted dungarees but DM never let me have some!

And they have pretty flowers in them. In my mind when I wear them with a white vest and brogues I will look like Alexa Chung's slightly older but cooler sister.

Non?

Decameron · 23/05/2014 20:36

Linus, non, non, non! Is this the dress you bought? What's the fit like? Some of the reviews say it runs big.

Shop, yes, they have codes all the time. I love their leggings jeans, have four pairs now. No more!

AmberNectarine · 23/05/2014 20:41

I love dungarees!

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2014 20:49

Great shop it's just a cheap holiday dress....nice though. Hope it works for you.
Dungarees

shopafrolic · 23/05/2014 20:54

I like dungarees (on twenty somethings), but not those dungarees. Sorry Linus
I have spent the evening catching up with my SIL in Holland, my favourite Aunt and some old friends on the phone - it's been lovely.

MarshaBrady · 23/05/2014 20:55

I couldn't do dungarees but others could. But I'm not sure about those ones Linus, few too many things going on, what about plainer ones?

LinusDKD · 23/05/2014 20:56

decam your link takes me to the DP home page.

this is the dress I bought.

I got a size 10 and it fits well apart from the elasticated waist which is a tad tight. Nothing too uncomfortable though.

I would probably look like a petulant toddler in those dungarees but I still LOVE them.

LinusDKD · 23/05/2014 21:02

this made me think of you dry.

A possible holiday dress?

libertychick · 23/05/2014 21:04

I quite like them Linus but it's a tricky look to pull off.

Flowers for you and Shop, the MNV Jimmies arrived today Smile. It's been a while since I pulled on jeans without some elastane in the fabric so while they fit and look very flattering I'm not feeling entirely comfortable Confused. Is this normal, do they loosen up a bit when you wear them? I have quite (ahem) muscular fat calves and while they look fine I feel a bit constricted.

shopafrolic · 23/05/2014 21:07

Liberty I found them weird to wear at first (because my other Jimmies have got elastane in them) but they do soften with wear......

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 23/05/2014 21:15

Give my Jimmies a kiss from me liberty!

They are a bit weird to wear because there's no stretch in them but they will give a bit after a while.

libertychick · 23/05/2014 21:18

Thanks Shop I'll take them on hols and see how they go. I really like how they look on. My ASOS Brady ones are nice but they need to be washed after each wear they go so baggy, I probably should have sized down in them.

QueenCadbury · 23/05/2014 21:20

Thank you so much for your flowers and wine. Luckily dd was at a play date after school so they were separated. Dh got home relatively early (7.15pm) so was around to help at bedtime with them. I've also drank half a bottle of Beaujolais so feeling much better Grin.

linus I love dungarees but would never wear them and think those are really cute. I think you need to be leggy 20 something though to get away with them.

How cold was it today? Regretting my emergency summer clothes order for dd and wondering whether I should now repack everything and swap summer clothes for jumpers Confused.

I think we have wifi in the cottage so I will hopefully check in but if not see you all in a week x

libertychick · 23/05/2014 21:21
Grin
AmberNectarine · 23/05/2014 21:21

I'm currently wearing a pair of Gap real straights with a wide turn up. They have no elastane and are my favourite jeans.

shopafrolic · 23/05/2014 21:22

Have a fab time QueenC

santamarianovella · 23/05/2014 21:24

Evening all!
I couldn't do dungarees,

novice love ,love the coat! Gorgeous,

amber yes live unwrapping please!

queen hope your feeling better now,

dry Grin love your dcs reaction!

marsha sounds like a fab night, always nice to go out with big groups,

So,I did something I haven't done in a long time! I went to topshop Grin and bought linuss famous tile print jeans, and praise The Lord they feel heavenly, only found a 25, feels a bit snug, but one of the girls Said they strech a bit, so I've been wearing them all evening, and
My current Elliot striped dress arrived and its perfect,
And, ahem bought theses, I've lost sleep last couple of days thinking about them Blush, got them with a code,

Wishing lib, sleep, amber ,and justa and anyone going away , a great holiday, Smile

Drywhiteplease · 23/05/2014 21:27

Great holiday dress linus indeed very me.....the only thing is I've peaked with holiday dresses I think (at the last count I have 4 and 2 beach dresses so I need to stop nowGrin)
Having said that....I've just seen what DH has packed for our long weekend on the south coast. Could cry honestly. When there isn't a uniform (suits, shooting, tennis, gardening, walking,Djs, wedding, cycling) when it's just casual stuff he's a bloody nightmare and doesn't even care Sad.... If you could see the horrendous hoodie/baggy short/ dirty trainer/ nipple revealing t shirt combo he has planned for the one sunny day forecast, you, too would weep Sad Sad..... I've just placed an order for some decent shorts for our summer holiday after looking in his wardrobe which I'll be clearing out next week when he's at work, he honestly won't notice

santamarianovella · 23/05/2014 21:29

and these beauties, couldn't resist them!
