The IM belt arrived just now. Lovely colour but very very thin.

And I might have to ask DH to add an extra hole as I can only just do it up in the last hole when I wear it with jeans.

SATC - I always thought of myself as Carrie (of course) -journalist, slightly whacky dress sense, but my friends say I'm Charlotte, thinkn because I'm married with kids.

I am also ready for the sales but struggling to prioritise.
I think I need Gigis or similar and something I can wear in Ibiza that can go from beach to club - maybe a simple dress - and the MBMJ bag.

But it is my 40th in a month and DH & DM have been asking what I want. So I think will ask DH for the bag, get DM to contribute to the party, leaving me more spending money.

Finally got round to opening my packages just came on to say j crew linen tees are great just what I was looking for have just ordered a few more. The jeans I ordered were cancelled but I failed to notice the email so bit annoyed about that, back to stalking the site.

Bought some silver earrings yesterday and as per instructions from Shop, just shoved them in! Red ears for an hour or so but all ok now and I really like having something sparkly in my ears!

Love the outfit rethink Dry. I am wearing black boden pocket flared skirt and a black silky polyester t-shirt. Will add Mango jacket when I go out later and probably these silver slingbacks.

I wish I was the ST girl. I did work for Bliss when I first started out and had lots of fun writing pop quizes and teen girl gossip - Henry Holland worked there at the same time but I was just a lowly intern. The clothes cupboard was amazing and you could delve in for a night out.

But the pay is rubbish in magazine journalism so I sold my soul to the financial devil!

No news here, nice to drop DS off at nursery this morning - I was a bit frazzled by the end of the week (and DH was being a moody git) so nice to have the house to myself this morning even if I am only ironing and doing chores (and MNetting).

Sooo you won't believe what happened when I got my Gigis out of the box yesterday to wear. They're (irreparably) broken! Of course I had a look inside the box when I bought them, but I didn't try them on because it was my second pair. Don't know whether to laugh or cry, I am going to contact Nordstrom and beg them to send me another.

(Btw fedup I would still recommend Nordstrom as the place to get Gigis in Vegas but do make sure they are in one piece and then don't leave them in a taxi!)

Hello ladies, can I join you? I'm more high street than high end, but I love clothes and always have. Went through a style rut as a SAHM and lost my way a bit but have been reading S&B for about 6 months and think I'm back to my old self! Phew. I knew this when I recognised this in a playground at the weekend and just stared at it and realised I had no-one to talk to who would share my enthusiasm or love of bags.

Spent the morning in Kwik fit. The tyre had a slow puncture but they managed to remove a deep embedded nail and plug the hole for £24. Phew. I thought it would cost ££ and set dh off again. Now doing housework. I lead such a glamorous life

Hello and big welcome to Hampton and Betty. I love the Chloe Marcie bag, I have it in a salmon pink and it's a great bag, although it's heavy and I am a total wuss. You are both absolutely on the right thread as we all love clothes and accessories - both high street and high end.

I am at home today. I am less manic at work at the moment so I did a half day on Friday and had my friends and her children over and today I spent the morning with ds, swimming, hanging out, doing puzzles and started work at 1pm. Happy days, except for the boring work thing I am doing!

Managed to twist my ankle today at work so am sitting with foot up and an ice pack. Have so much to do this evening so am a bit with myself.

The sandals can't be repaired - the elastic holding the buckle on is completely detached from the strap at both ends, and the strap with the holes in is snapped off in the middle as well. I can't even imagine how that could really happen, but someone must have returned them in that state and got a refund. Just my luck!
