shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 11:09

Gin at Marsha I want to know what you said!

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 11:10

Vogue tee has also arrived and looks pretty good. Will try in a bit. The neck and arm holes are cut edges so will roll nicely to the seams.

I'm all excited for you Shop so great when something you have wanted for a while is as good as you hoped Smile - ok must get back to work.

Marsha your little parcel from me is packed and ready to go - will get to PO later...

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 11:12

Amber are you about?
Would you Collonil this bag? I guess I should right? Anyone else?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/05/2014 11:32

I definitely would shop. So glad you're happy with it, you deserve it after a rubbish few weeks of illness! :)

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 11:41

Thanks Blair :)

absolutely lovely bag shop

BrandyAlexander · 19/05/2014 12:49

Damn! I missed a live unwrapping of your new baaaag! So glad you love it. yes to protecting it.

Glorious day, am wearing grey and green super dry tee with blue warehouse denim hot pants. No, I am not in my office todayGrin

Decameron · 19/05/2014 12:50

Definitely spray it with Collonil, Shop, I always do. And let DS carry his own drink!

I have a bag hook Monnier Freres sent me, I have never used it though.

That's rubbish service from Asos, Turq.

AmberNectarine · 19/05/2014 13:17

Definitely Collonil shop - what a gorgeous bag. I'm very jealous!

I'm at the park with the kids. They have disappeared off into the sandpit while I relax on the grass. Hot weather for the win. I'm wearing DIY denim cut off, a silver metallic tee from Gap and white birkenstock Arizonas.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/05/2014 13:20

Decam my mum got me a personalised bag hook with my name on it, bless her Grin

Envy of all the shorts wearers, it's days like this my office needs a retractable sun roof!

santamarianovella · 19/05/2014 13:37

Yay shop ,love love your live unwrapping! And the bag is beyond gorgeous, I never inspected the bag from the inside, but wow! You don't need a wallet,

turq that's really terrible, don't give up keep bombarding them with phone calls and emails.badly done asos!

blair your holiday wardrobe sounds great, but do you really need a jacket? It will be boiling, and did you pack swimwear? Most hotels there have super stylish pools
I'm still in my gym clothes, will change into APC mini skirt, and tee for school run, this weather made me realise I have very little hot weather clothes,

Decameron · 19/05/2014 13:39

You might need a jacket in restaurants, Blair, they overdo it on the air con!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/05/2014 13:50

Thanks santa and decam! Yep bikinis included in accessories, didn't want to spam the thread with too much detail. I feel the cold, so as Decam says, the jacket is just in case the aircon gets too much. But maybe I'll get tired of carrying it around.

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 14:08

Thanks all - I will Collonil this afternoon. And get DS to start using his rucksack!
Loving all the legs out ladies. Did I tell you that the Hush denim shorts I ordered in Feb are now too big? Well lovely Hush CS have said I can return for an exchange, but they don't have any more denim shorts ATM. Not sure whether to exchange for their Marseilles shorts or just keep what I've got and belt them up......

Hi-just back into London-v tired. It's so hot! Gorgeous bag Shop, I am going to the opening of the new Anya Hindmarch shop tomorrow night, shall think of you. I have suggested to DH that it would be only polite to buy something but he's decidedly unconvinced Hmm.

Marsha what did you say?Grin

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 14:30

Blair I'm so sorry, in the excitement of the bag I missed your post about holiday wardrobe - sounds perfect - I always chuck in some kind of pashmina / large scarf as they are useful for all sorts of eventualities. Break sounds lovely.

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 14:31

Welcome back Sleep - surely an AH bag would be the ideal "well done on your amazing achievement" type of gift? :)

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 14:31

Yes Marsha what did you say?

OP posts:
Secretsquirrel13 · 19/05/2014 14:31

Lovely bag Shop, if you love the hush shorts could you try a hot wash and a blast in the dryer?
Navy ballet flats- I need some too- are r&b the holy grail? Watching with interest.....

Secretsquirrel13 · 19/05/2014 14:33

Hmmm yes Marsha what was it that you said?

QueenCadbury · 19/05/2014 14:46

So glad you like the bag shop. Not sure what you should do re shorts especially if you're continuing to lose weight (which I'd be concerned about...). Are your bowels back to normal. Pm if you don't wish to discuss here Grin

blair sounds great. A shawl/scarf type thing may be good to use in air con or to cover your head/neck if the sun gets too much. Maybe a cardi instead of a jacket which could be thrown inside a bag easier?
squirrel people seem to like the banana republic flats although not tried them myself. Also no idea if they have navy...

I'm wearing a sleeveless navy top and cut off jeans. They're kind of just below the knee as I'm not quite ready to go to school in shorts yet!

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 15:32

Can I ask for some help if anyone is around?

I have a pile of jeans waiting for EBay - mainly too big, but some I never even wore when I was bigger. Do you think any of them are worth hanging onto in case I put weight back on again in the future or should I just get rid. NB. These were too big before I got ill so I'm not getting carried away thinking I will stay this small forever :)

JBrand High rise, straight leg indigo wash
James jeans low rise skinnies in plum
2 x A&W skinny cords - pale neutral colour and a tan colour (hardly worn as never felt right)
Jigsaw navy smart straight leg trousers
James Jeans in cream
MiH Paris in red - never fitted me - should have sent them back at the time
French Connection tan chinos
7FAM black bootleg cords that you all said didn't suit me 2 x 7FAM boot cuts
Helmut Lang green coated skinnies - they are neither coated, nor skinny. Again I should have returned at the time.
Black Joseph straight leg trousers - was keeping in case I went back to work but look dated on me
7FAM straight leg distressed jeans which I wear as boyfriends - have always been too big but now they fall off me.

Any of those worth hanging on to?
