QueenC, DH thinks bags are a waste of money but knows I like them so is resigned! He has been working very long hours for yearsmonths so it is a thank you present. No more bags for a while though.

I bought a pair of those chinos yesterday, Shop, they are great. Are you starting to feel any better? I hope so.

Lovely perfume, Liberty.

Sorry Marsha, I know I am being lame but I am waiting to see where you are all meeting up. I could come along for an hour or so but that's it really as DH is not overly keen at me leaving him with the DC for too long at the weekend. Too late for your makeup shopping but I tried a sample of Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid yesterday and it stayed on really well, going to buy it.

Congratulations, Sleep. I'd say it is not the most fashionable area, amazing scenery though.

Blair, when are you off? Have fun!

One of my silver gigis fell apart yesterday (literally - had to phone DH to drive over to the park with shoes for me), I bought them from US Amazon, they've already refunded me and told me not to go to the hassle of posting them back. Great customer service.

I'm wearing an old pink Whistles vest (ordered this to replace it), Me & Em shorts and havaianas, DD2 and I are going to the paddling pool after taking DD1 to school.

Those are the best ballet flats, Dry, I need (ahem) a navy pair.

Slubbing about in trainers, leggings and an old t today as I sort the house out.
Am never shopping with asos again. It s been a nightmare getting their parcel delivered, can't contact them via email or customer service, they don't respond to fb or tweets, they won't let courier leave the parcel at the door, the returns I sent back 10 days ago still haven't been refunded to me. I am so cross and frustrated. I will never recommend them or use them again. I wish there was some consumer agency I could complain to about them, it has truly been the worse shopping experience ever.

Never never again.

MarshaBrady · 19/05/2014 10:17

Oh Turq I know, they are so, so annoying. Grr for you.

I just said something really silly in a meeting by accident. Oh god I had to look out the window for composure.

MarshaBrady · 19/05/2014 10:18

A bit fruity, but not meant to be. Does anyone ever do stuff like that?

MarshaBrady · 19/05/2014 10:21

Decam I love the sound of that Chanel foundation, I might get it anyway!

Perricone is almost invisible which I love but is so £££ due to the 'scientific' pronouncements. I bet the only stuff in there that makes any difference is the 35+ sun block!

QueenCadbury · 19/05/2014 10:25

Morning. I'm wesring gym gear. Glorious morning but outdoor circuits nearly killed me in this heat. Relaxing with a cup of green tea before I tackle my tip of a kitchen.

dec my dh has become pretty resigned to my handbag fetish too. He won't let me buy the bag I want full price but is 'happy' if it gets reduced.

QueenCadbury · 19/05/2014 10:28

bafta dresses

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/05/2014 10:29

Lol Marsha. Btw your work outfit sounds lovely, I wish I could wear that sort of thing to work!

Decam, going on Thursday! Apparently it's going to be "unseasonally hot" so 40 degrees. Shock
Oh no re gigis, but great customer service, US companies are the best.

Re holiday wardrobe, help please - I'm planning on taking 6 dresses (5 can be worn day or night), 5 tops, and 3 bottoms including harems, plus denim jacket, 2 vests and travel clothes plus accessories. Sandals, havaianas and nikes. Does this sound enough for 1 week?

Turq that sounds terrible. I think of asos as good because they do free delivery and returns, but that's only good if it works. Could you write to them (sent recorded) asking them to respond within X days? I think you have to do this sort of thing before you can complain to trading standards. Also write down everything that's happened.

mara I have never been in a restaurant with a bag stool! If I was provided with one I think it would make my night Grin

LinusDKD · 19/05/2014 10:31

Oh no turq how annoying!

I have to say I like shopping with Asos as they have free international delivery and my postman just puts the parcel in our letterbox but maybe it's different in the UK.

That said, up until now I have never returned anything to them but I have just made up two parcels to return to them. Fingers crossed!

The return documents did say to give them at least 21 days (? Forgot the exact number but it was a lot) to process the return as it can take that long for the parcel to reach them, but again, that could be for international orders.

LinusDKD · 19/05/2014 10:33

Oh and my DH just rolls his eyes when I talk about handbags or when I show him a new purchase.

Wow that inside is so handy! I love the gold writing Anya does on her bags, so quirky. It's lovely Envy

shopafrolic · 19/05/2014 11:03

OMG I am totally and utterly chuffed to bits. Thanks so much everyone for encouraging me to ditch the Mulberry and get this. It is just perfect for me, great colour, zips to toughen it up a bit, loads of useful pockets and storage, fab size and a choice of straps. Thanks to all you lovely Voguettes.
My Mulberry Bayswater looks as though it will sell (and the purse) so I should be able to cover the cost and now I have something I adore.
DH is taking my other loved Mulberry hobo to their Covent Garden store today to get the strap re-edged (will take 8 weeks) but will be worth it to keep it looking good.
I am beyond thrilled.
xxxxxx (very non MN)

Loads more pockets on the inside too Blair and a clip for your keys, and a zip on the back. Handy as you like.
