Love the links Sleep I saw the tie dye and thought of you. Love the orange silk. There's a fab tie dye dress too James Perse I think - I have had it, and your striped cashmere sat in my basket since pre Clearance along with a couple of J Crew vests. But I really don't NEED anything.......
Not sure about the dress, I reckon you can carry anything off TBH but it's a big departure from what we're used to seeing you in.
Marsha I put my orange MNV sweater in to the dry cleaners this time for a bit of love - not sure I'll be able to stretch it to next year. I'm wearing my Whistles neon orange sweatshirt again today, with the new GAP skinny chinos - thanks Decam for the tip - I'm very impressed with them.
Sun is shining, DS is watering the plants for me with his little orange watering can while I drink tea on a sun drenched bench with my back against the warm brickwork - lovely.

sleep love the orange top-such a lovely colour. I also like the dress but as others have said it may not be you. Worth a try though.

blair lovely shoes especially in the cobalt colour way. Sometimes I'd love to have a job where I can buy pretty shoes (and I'm not even a shoe person).

liberty/marsha i've read good things about RI denim too. I keep meaning to try but essentially I'm lazy and stick to gap as I know what will fit.

dry I think that's the best decision. I still think you should try on some similar ones in a different colour as I think the black looked a bit 'heavy'. Or go for slightly more delicate ones like novices atwoods.

marsha I froze this morning determined to crack on with the summer wardrobe so have on a white broderie top with emerald cardigan. The sun is out now though.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2014 16:18

Waves to , how is DS getting on with the protein etc? Smile

OneLittleLady · 12/03/2014 16:20

I managed TWO HOURS in heels yesterday, so pleased, I'm hoping if I wear my various heels round the house long enough, I'll manage on a night out proper. I have bootcut black jeans on and they look ok, they don't flap too much, they are a very slim cut at the bottom so don't look too aged. I think the jurassic park t-shirt could have been swapped for a better option but I feel a bit lazy today!

shopafrolic · 12/03/2014 16:28

Dry woop! Knew they'd sort you out - nice one.

Excellent news Dry. Really good. I think some that are more delicate like Novice's, as QueenC says could be good way to go.

Shop I know, mine is most definitely on its last legs. Think I'll make it an at home jumper now. My outfit today is probably the 'grungiest' I do. Reminds me of early 20s.

Good one one.

QueenC I know I wore a coat this morning, then got really hot and had to rethink.

santamarianovella · 12/03/2014 16:59

Yay! dry that's excellent customer service!,

sleep love all your outnet purchases, think the dress is a bit tricky to wear, with the hi lo cut,

marsha, a try on day at matches is a great idea, they are fab with styling,

blair report on the pheobe jeans, great shoes,

Now I'm obsessed with gianvito Rossi shoes, both patent pumps, and the PVC ones, must start saving for them!

Turquoiseblue · 12/03/2014 17:09

Evening allSmile work finished - going to head for a run once I get home. Can't wait love this weather - invigorating.
Dry that s fantastic you got sorted and so nicely!
Sleep - great dress- I ve never been able to work out Z and V stuff though apart from some of their tee s ! I always love it on the hangers/ mannequins then look demented when I actually try it on.Hmm
Dd s Boden haul arrived today - she ll be so excited Smile
One - nice one on the heels!

BrandyAlexander · 12/03/2014 17:19

Hi Sleep, it's not "you" but you have a couple of things that are different to the rest if your look. You're a beautiful woman, so I think with your colouring and stature, it will look good. I can see you wearing it with the big sunnies on top of your head. I should point out that there is no way in hell I would get it for me as I would look dreadfulGrin

I think I have lost my post of outnet purchases from last night as I can't see it.Confused

Drywhiteplease · 12/03/2014 18:37

Sleep DS has put on 3kg in 4 weeks Shock 12st8 now.....bloody giant and ver pleased. The peanut butter/banana/chocolate protein shake is delicious, a big hit.......I must resist or I'll look like Fatima Whitbread when you next see me Grin

Drywhiteplease · 12/03/2014 18:39

this jumper which I adore but even with the 25% off wonder whether I need wool/cashmere at this time of year. no

Drywhiteplease · 12/03/2014 18:43

these arrived today! have scotch guarded and they're on already. LOVE! Not as fashion forward as NB but my "classic, chic" take on the trainers trend. Have a stone pair from last year that are still going strong. Would love red.
Have seen a few women in my fuddy duddy town rocking the NB look. One today, black skinnies, black slouchy sweater and stone pair....v classy look. Will copy because I'm a sheep Grin

Drywhiteplease · 12/03/2014 18:44

Oops too much crossing out

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2014 19:01

ha never too much Dry!

Novice yes we need the rest of your links!

I tried to wear a Liberty scarf today and I took it off. I just can't dammit.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/03/2014 19:11

Ok so have got home and tried my Phoebes - love them! The slim tapered leg is very forgiving, much easier to wear than the wider ones I'd imagine and (I hope) shouldn't date as fast. The only thing is they are lower rise than I would like so they gape a tiny bit at the back when I sit down but I'm willing to overlook that. Tried them with heels and Pistols and both look good, which amazes me because of my little legs but they're really very flattering! Yay!

Dry you have to go with your gut re shoes I think, no point keeping them when you know you won't wear them. Good CS from &OS :) which reminds me I got my my-w refund today. Pays for the Phoebes!

Santa the red pumps you pinned are gorgeous.

Sleep lovely outnet buys! Hope they're all keepers. The frugality had a similar striped sweater from iris and ink quite recently on her blog.

No novice don't think I saw a post with links from you...

Practice makes perfect One! Grin

libertychick · 12/03/2014 20:21

Today I wore Shop's A&W silk shirt with black trousers and these ballet pumps (bare ankles Shock). Ruined the look by adding a cardigan that I can't even bring myself to describe! Had to rip it off at work and it's now destined for the charity shop - one of those things that I think I should like but never, ever looks right.

Marsha another attempt at linking the jeans here They were £20 earlier today - now £40 Confused

Great shopping Sleep - I love the metallic tank.

Good news on the Pheobe's Blair.

QueenCadbury · 12/03/2014 20:44

dry I love the gazelles but they look like big slippers on me.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2014 21:01

Ah Novice I do love you!

Dry fab news on DS, glad it's working for him Grin. I really like that orange sweater, v tempting at 25% off. Love the gazelles Smile.

One well done on the heels! Does that mean your legs aren's so painful at the moment ? How is everything?

Thanks Blair - I'm sort of hoping I won't want to keep all of it...already pared it back from original basket Blush!

Marsha - what is issue with scarf Confused?

Turq I love Z&V, funny isn't it how certain label's stuff just doesn't work though? I would look ridiculous in Kooples stuff. May go and try dress tomorrow.

OneLittleLady · 12/03/2014 21:06

Everything's fine Sleep leg is still just as painful but I figured, if I'm going to be in pain no matter what I do, then I'm going to look foxy through it Grin

DP is definitely going to New York at the end of the month, what do I tell him to bring back for me?!?!

Turquoiseblue · 12/03/2014 21:08

Uh oh! DD was playing at the table with the iPad - 'what you doin dd'? 'I m doing mummy work '
Yes was open on MNV page Smile

shopafrolic · 12/03/2014 21:22

Dry I tried that sweater on but the orange is quite washed out.....

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2014 21:25

Good for you One. Re NY - I have no clue, DH is heading back from LA without any shopping instructions from me - so 99.9% sure there will be nothing for me! The Sephora idea was a good one I thought!

Hey Shop how are you doing? I missed our chat yesterday.

Turq - oh yes...I've had that one too Blush.

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2014 21:28

lol Turq I can't get away with that at all with the 8 year old. He knows this name and everything Blush

Sleep I just can't do them. I gave it to the swap shop and it was the only thing that came back. Maybe I should do eBay or something.

They look great Liberty, would look fab with the thing I just bought.

I ordered something and I am eeek at it as I haven't spent this much for ages. Argh. But I couldn't help it as it's cashmere / silk and http://www.theoutnet.com/product/448292 Isabel Marant and raspberry.

So out of the swing of things am practically having heart palpitations. Plus it's not exactly the height of SS. Isabel Marant and raspberry. But I can always return it.

MarshaBrady · 12/03/2014 21:29

Link fail! I must be out of it.

here Isabel Marant

Sleepwhenidie · 12/03/2014 21:32

Beautiful colour Marsha
