For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

afternoon all. been scouring the charity shops today, didn't find much but i did grab a great Pringle wool jumper in pastel colours for a single pound that's bang on trend right now. Will keep me warm while the weather decides what it's doing!

Some good savings on Asos. Have ordered an Antipodium dress, James Perse top, MiH striped top. All a bit wild card so will see what they are like first!

Also Saloni skirt is here, try it all on tomorrow.

Shop result!

Back later, sr

Sorry to bang on about it but I have heard from Aldo and I'm SO disappointed. I asked them to send me another pair of shoes in the meantime, and they didn't even acknowledge that, instead saying that I would get a refund if the parcel was found to be lost after they and Royal Mail have investigated. The best part is that this will take 14+a further 21 days! Basically about 7 weeks from the time I ordered.

They could have given me a small voucher or a decent discount code as a goodwill gesture, but nothing. Will never order from them again on principle. And their ordering process is crap anyway.

Angry

Blair that is so rubbish! And a big pita for you. Aldo sounds like one of those dinosaur anti-online brands that haven't yet realised we've all moved on. Argh for you.

Thanks Marsha. Feeling sorry for myself, PMT still I guess! And the 14+21 days are working days, so it'll be even longer.

Ok rant over!

shop well done on the bag! What are you going to buy with the proceeds from the other 2?

Cute clarks bag Umlauf and Amber, there is 20% off their bags atm I think.

Marsha how does the Saloni skirt look? Hope it's as pretty as the picture :)

I'm looking very 90's today in a Marvel comic t-shirt, denim pinafore dress, black opaques and ankle boots. Feel somehow connected to my younger self Grin

Blair that is poor - can't bear crap sites. New Balance I'm thinking of you right now.
I am still kicking myself that I didn't set a higher BIN price for the Ledbury. I felt rude asking for more than I paid - a bit naive I think. Oh well, win some and all that.
I've been researching EBay for Anya Hindmarch bags but they don't seem to achieve ££££ so may hang on to Gracie for a while longer.
Next up for selling are loads of 'vintage' designer sunnies, lots of Thomas Sabo jewellery, loads of scarves i no longer wear and anything else that isn't glued down.
I have the guilts about how much I have spent in the last month (LKB and Tom Ford = ££££££££££) so want to recoup as much as possible.
Fingers crossed for the Saloni Marsha
Novice and Linus how are you feeling?
Sleep all better in your house now?

Shop why not set a high BIN price and if they don't sell relist the following week? Your clear out is going really well.
Blair that's rubbish....some companies are so brilliant online I just can't understand how others can be so poor. Very frustrating for you.
Marsha why did you mention ASOS sale? I've been wading through for over an hour now and nothing yet....why don't they have a 'view all' option?
So, I tried on my red dress and it's a bit snug on the booty.....drat and bloody bother, that's me on the wagon and back to steak, steak and more steak Grin.... Just need to shift 5lb.....bother.....still reminded me what a lovely dress it is Smile
Liberty you're lovely! thank you x

Dry Oh god I know. Tops then dresses then skirts. Sheesh. I narrowed it down by ticking the brands I wanted and the size. But I was sweating bricks glowing as I had to get ds from school!

Ooh lovely colour and shape Dry. Looks cute with the flats.

Sometimes I can be arsed to trawl the asos "sale" (they have them all the time!!) but not this time. Am focused on wishlist! (Sort of)

Just found these Sophia Webster-esque beauties... mad or good?! Grin

Dry lovely shape and colour. If you can feel breezy and comfy in it, go for it.

Blair they are fab.

I don't know what happened, I usually dismiss asos sales. I don't actually have a good strike rate with them. Also they do Fb and twitter only which is a bit of a pita.

But someone cough Dry should order something in solidarity Grin

Well good thing you looked this time Marsha as it sounds like you found some gems :) don't get me wrong, I'm an asos fan (premier member!) but they just sell SO MUCH stuff and it can be too much sometimes.

Ooh you like the shoes! Hmmm and there's a 25% off KG code atm. Might have to consider Wink

Sorry you are feeling under the weather Linus and hope all are feeling better in the sleep and shop households - and anyone I've missed. Not a great time of year by the sounds of it.

Welcome back Grumpy and Umlauf; great idea for a present btw Umlauf.

Blair those shoes are fab-I would wear them with jeans I think.

No fashion purchases, not even from the Boden sale-have spent days looking at curtain fabrics, fencing, floorboards and fires. My brain feels overloaded and dh is having palpitations at the cost of it all!

I have put 5th July in the diary so hopefully will join you all.

Forgot to say that the Stella dress is fabulous Santa.

Also, loved the birthday bag chat. I have requested diamond earrings for my next significant birthday in a couple of years. think might be the same age as Dry
