Stupid IPad! Sorry ladies

Santa I absolutely loved SATC! I think Carrie is the character that I least related to, but the other 3, at various points in my life I had something in common with them. On the clothes side, yes, I was much more a Charlotte then Carrie's style - I always thought i wasn't cool enough. Having said that I loved Carrie's access - the shoes, the handbag and the jewelry. Now the closet, oh how I loved Carrie's closet in the film. I felt like that when I saw my new dressing room .

I bought this jacket today and the matching trousers.

Last week, I saw the J crew jacket that Shop linked a couple of weeks ago. Omg, it was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Except their size 00 i thought was just a bit snug across the chest, so I wanted to try the size 0 and they had every bloody size except that size. . I was gutted!

Dry was just checking Topshop new in and saw these! And have pinned a cheapy asos pink peplum top...

for all the Irish Voguettes :)

I admit I have never watched SATC - friends raved about it at school but I think I was the sad teenager with only the one tv in the house, which was my parents' domain in the evenings!

blair I do love pink and red together but would never be brave enough. Go for it as it will look lovely.

novice , I first saw SATC. When I was 17-18 so I didn't relate to it at all, and then saw it again with a friend a couple of years after that, and we both made a pack to never ever end up like anyone of them! , but I did feel for Charlotte, she struggled with a lot of issues, and was really happy for her on the end .

Thanks for all the well wishes. DH has slept most of the day, still feels woozy from the morphine but has eaten a little. Just very scary and has made us reflect on how lucky we are. Scary when it feels like you might lose it.
My Outnet order has arrived, looks good - the striped top is a lovely thick cotton - will try tomorrow while DS is at nursery.
Marsha good stuff on the wedding. I have two evening dos to go to in the next two months. Really don't want to buy new so think I'll wear
Reiss tomato red dress to one and Me&em grecian to the other. Hoping I can dress up with shoes and bling?
I'm going to need shoes though - any ideas what i could get that might work with both? Sub £100?

Definitely gold shoes for both those dresses imo - they go with everything and up the bling factor! Found a few with heels less than 3.5in (ok that's still high!)

Love the clutch, was going to suggest a sparkly bag And I liked those shoes the best too.

2 weeks seems ok - they will ship from the US but it has always been pretty quick for me. Never bought their shoes though. As long as they stick to that shipping date!

How awful that most of the stories about L'Wren Scott lead with the fact that she's Mick Jagger's girlfriend. The press are just awful.

Ummmmm.....have just ordered a job lot 8!! pairs of cropped trousers to try from Boden. Need good quality navy (and red?) for work but really not sure about their sizing. Will report back.
