After repeatedly begging to be offered a return Amelie Dress I finally got one yesterday. As I'd had a 10 credit for not getting it in the first place it cost me 9.50. I was quite pleased with this as I think they are now back on te normal clearance section at 49 - though not in my size.

So, I got there in the end, and they are unfailingly polite.

I was trying to avoid this thread (and avoid buying anything as I really don't need any new clothes, but...) After removing all the items from my basket on Sunday, I gave in on Monday and bought the Seville dress which arrived yesterday. It's lovely! Fits really well and is very flattering (I am a curvy 16). The Ultramine colour is gorgeous, more of a greeny turquoise than the blue the picture shows. I'm very pleased, especially as it was only £17.80! Still a low price now (£26.70) if anyone is interested. Roll on spring and summer Smile

Lighthousekeeping · 21/02/2014 11:23

It's a lovely dress but I would worry about it clinging to my flab!

I just received the stripy stitch jumper. It's very child like. Not really flattering but it will do for shopping in. You can't put a jacket over it which I don't like. I hate just going out in a jumper. The straight leg cords are lovely and I regret just ordering one color. They have jumped up in price so I won't be going back for more.

jennylindinha · 21/02/2014 11:31

There will definitely be some tummy-holding going on/wearing of spanx, unless I can get rid of my tum, but it isn't too bad considering...! I had some of those cords in my basket but wasn't sure about the colour - wish I had bought them now.

SerendipityAlways · 21/02/2014 12:08

That's a lovely dress *jennylindinha" and especially in that colourway..

KatieScarlett2833 · 21/02/2014 16:25

I wore the all black Felicity dress today. For a very plain dress it was admired by all at work, result Smile

After a phonecall to Boden today I now have a pair of boots on their way to me, by next day delivery for the sale price of 23.80. I've had the dispatch email to say they've been posted and I'll receive them tomorrow. I take back everything I said about them, Boden are wonderful Grin

kaumana · 21/02/2014 19:01

I agree credit where credits due. I had an issue which has been resolved and I am a happy customer yet again.

Lighthousekeeping · 21/02/2014 19:07

There's a pair of pale blue cords back down to £13.50 as well. Must be the returns.

rubyflipper · 22/02/2014 12:22

What a palaver! Finally got my order this morning.

Had to phone in my card details because I'd got a digit wrong (fair enough).

Then I didn't hear a thing for a week.

Sent a snarky tweet to Boden. Then I got an apologetic phone call to say that the person who took my card details didn't press the button to process my order Hmm.

But I did get £10 off and free overnight delivery as an apology so credit where credit is due.

WhoNickedMyName · 22/02/2014 12:46

My boots are here, I'm wearing them right now, they're lovely Smile I'm also wearing the turquoise cable knit jumper.

joliejolie · 22/02/2014 12:54

I was able to get the boots thanks to a wonderful mumsnetter and they are fantastic! Also wearing them right now. Even my husband likes them, which is really saying something.

higgle · 22/02/2014 14:03

The Amalie dress arrived this morning - perfect and only £9.50 ! Because of my £10 credit. Very pleased indeed now.

bunnymother · 22/02/2014 20:09

Well, if anyone has the leopard boots in a size 7 that they don't want, please do PM me. I can think of lots of things I would happily wear them with. Lots!

Lighthousekeeping · 23/02/2014 21:03

I'm not looking forward to washing this cashmere sweater. It's not exactly roomy.

kaumana · 23/02/2014 21:08

Lighthouse what size did you get? I went up one so I'm hoping it will be ok.

Lighthousekeeping · 23/02/2014 21:23

I went up a size too. I cannot believe anyone would pay over £100 for it. The stripes aren't exactly flattering.

Handyshandy · 23/02/2014 21:28

If anyone has size 5 leopard boots that just don't fit, i would really, really be pleased and truly grateful to take them off your hands

thenightsky · 23/02/2014 23:19

I'm pissed off coz my cashmere is so tightly fitting. I so wish I'd bought a 12 Sad

Chocolateteabag · 23/02/2014 23:32

Well by the time I got there, the stripey cashmere was just in size 20
Ordered it anyway even though I'm normally a 12 - currently bf-ing so huge of nork. And it's lovely and roomy , just right for stuffing DS2 inside to latch on.
Will either shrink it or attempt some kind of refashion once I'm through being his milk bar.

mypavlova · 24/02/2014 03:28

While it is true I received a stock discrepancy cancellation of my coveted westbourne hot pink jumper, love everything that did come. I have been constantly in the black cord skinny ankle skimmers and skinny urban trouser. Have the blue cord to look forward to, and the eye searing red/pink jacquard jumper is up my bright winter street.

I really liked their a/w13 and could have purchased yet more.

LordPalmerston · 24/02/2014 04:03

The stripey jumper is vile though!

slalomsuki · 24/02/2014 10:03

I sent two boxes of stuff back to them on Saturday. I am not sure about the cashmere jumper yet as even my mum didn't like it much but at £23 it's a bargain and might be useful in the future.

Lighthousekeeping · 24/02/2014 11:04

Wear it to go to the shops in. That's my plan. I see they have 20 percent off everything today it must tough times for them.
