Hello....not a stealth boast, more of a quick, help me not look like a chav....

A friend of mine is in handbag shop right now. He's just text me saying would I prefer a "Chanel Quilted Caviar leather Flap bag" in black, red, white or gold.

What do I have? Discounted red as I have a red Lulu Guiness clutch. Is white chavtastic? Do I go classic black, or nudey gold? Both I have loads to match, outfit wise. Help quickly please!!!! What's best?

Googled them...I presume it's the small one. He doesn't know me that well to spend loads.

I haven't singled her out. She went over and above to stand up against high school behaviour. There was no reason for her to do that. It's not like she knows me in RL, or is likely to ever meet me in RL. She had not ulterior motive for doing that, no reason too whatsoever. She just saw some bullish, bitchy behaviour and having been in a very similar position to me, was very supportive to me concerning individuals who it now appears are partners in crime and well known on this board, who happened to gang up together.

Shredded as well, she was lovely.

Anyway, off for the night now...have a date!! Wish me luck Grin

What a sweetie you are Sugar. I read back through the thread today, and it really is quite striking. There are some really embittered women out there, who are determined to see shadows where quite often, there really aren't any!

Mignionette you say your behaviour was because you don't like goady threads. IIRC your first post on MNV was a nasty goady thread wasn't it?

Sounds more like Mumsnet 'Easy Living' or 'Essentials' magazine. Vogue is about aspiration and fantasy, not the everyday.

And Ambernectarine when you were having a 'clandestine affair' with your now DH did he ever buy you gifts? Or is that morally OK?

I love bags and talking about clothes and stuff, but the undercurrent of snobbery and hypocrisy is why I hardly post in S&B now. Shame as I have met some of the MNV ladies and they really are lovely.
