Santa our house was decorated in green and terracotta when we moved in with even the radiators painted to match!! Red and gold sounds much better . The house is basically white now - not very exciting but much easier on the eye.

You are not heartless Shop!!! You are with your DS all day so need the break. I feel guilty as I don't see DD as much and she is learning to run the guilt trips - she looks at me through narrowed eyes each morning and says 'you are not going to work today mummy' then when I say I am she flounces off to her Dad and gets all cuddly with him while making faces at me!!!!

I made it! Just. Phew. They said flight was closed but thankfully I had checked in so they let me put my luggage in. Then they upgraded me!!!! I have never flown first!

Okay onto other urgent matters I am stood outside Michael Kors boarding is closing and am agonising over Hamilton in burnt orange which is $358. Think I better get flight!

Santa thanks . When we moved into our house it was an 80s nightmare. Flowery wallpaper and matching curtains everywhere, an avocado, a dark chocolate and a grey bathroom suite garish Axminster everywhere. Brown brick tiles floor to ceiling in the big kitchen. It's been a big job and cost a lot and will do so for another year until it's all done.

Omg dry I wanted to say how I hate the 80s chintz look but didnt want to insult anyone, its really hideous,its something I could never ever do.

If anyone ever sees a dress this style let me know. My all time favourite LBD is this style less pleating at waist with an exposed zip, I've worn it again and again. Would love red, deep plum /purple tones, navy/cobalt...not a print. Not at all urgent, just thought I'd put it out there.

Morning! Back in Blighty! So I listened to Liberty and got onto the flight. It was fab. I have a mini hangover. Rushing home to see the dcs so we can have our family breakfast - they think I am back tonight.

Santa, I was thinking of doing flowery wallpaper in new house because it's a period property. Is that very passé? I have inherited a sitting room with burgundy red wall paper that has to go. Not to mention the gold wallpaper in our bedroom!

Love the decorating talk. I must admit my personal current peeve is too bright spotlights everywhere. I much prefer wall, floor and other warmer diverse lighting. But that is just me! They are very in atm.

Hi everyone, just dropping in for a quick hi. Gorgeous handbags everywhere . I had a quick trip to Selfridges yesterday, gorgeous crisp but freezing day, it felt very christmassy! I went for underwear - I hate buying underwear! Also tried on the new j brand 'photo ready' jeans which are fab, have ordered from Shopbop. Also picked up these boots in black - they are so cosy and comfortable, I love!

Re the baby chat, DH and I came very close to going for no4 just before the summer hols - 2 weeks of 3 dc's 24/7 cured us though . Now I am very happy to stop at 3, mostly just the right level of crazy in our house .

Just about to head off for long awaited weekend away with DH, very excited! Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Hello. For one reason I can't open any of the links. My iPad's obviously trying to tell me something . Has anyone seen the purple house doing the rounds on Facebook? It looks totally normal onnthe outside but inside is literally purple everywhere- carpets, walls, furniture. I felt sorry for the poor buggers who are trying to sell it whilst everyone was linking it and laughing.
