tahnks amber I'm just insanely grateful that they might be able to stop the random dislocations now. Dislocating ANYTHING hurts like all hell and having it happen on a near weekly basis is more than anyone should have to bear. Hopefully after next week it'll happen less even if it doesn't stop it totally.

QueenCadbury · 05/09/2013 17:34

I may be a nurse but the though of filing down bones makes me queasy. You're both braver than me.

amber what's on your nails on day 42?

OneLittleLady · 05/09/2013 17:38

It's making me feel queasy too QueenC luckily, I will be asleep while they do it and they've promised me barely any obvious scarring as they are going through my armpit which is apparently more painful recovery wise but better aesthetically. I am just about vain enough to take a bit extra pain for less obvious scarring Grin

Annianni · 05/09/2013 17:41

Ouch One Shock

On your main Pin page Dry, there will be an invitation.
They don't show on my phone though, only on the laptop.

Qc having looked at the pics on the laptop, rather than my phone, I think I'll agree with Shop and Sleep.
The blue looks so vibrant on you, the shape of the top bit is great on you and you look really slim.

The black is very sex kitten-ish however :o

shopafrolic · 05/09/2013 17:52

QueenC so pleased I haven't offended. I've been worried all afternoon. Blush

QueenCadbury · 05/09/2013 17:58

shop you silly billy. Of course you haven't offended me. I love this thread as we are all totally honest with each other. I know how you feel though as I worried that I'd offended santa yesterday.

I might just turn up to my do in a track suit and sod getting a dress Grin

foxysocks · 05/09/2013 18:12

am in a rush but have skimmed replies - queenc where did you get your oiled oak from? are they local? that sounds like it could be good.

I have also considered karndean. it's ridic hardwearing and does look amazing. plus it's guaranteed for about 25 years. I'm just a bit weird about using natural materials as much as possible but maybe I need to get over it.

I like the falcon range but I am also being VERY fussy and the storage drawer on the model we like annoys me. we are either getting the new aga masterchef or the aga S series (ie aga but not the heat storage kind)

carrie that's what I'm worried about re: engineered wood. although H and MrH have it and they love it, am going to check out their kitchen again on friday and steal some ideas!

Sleepwhenidie · 05/09/2013 18:24

Yay, I have just got an email confirming that I have been accepted on the course I applied for Grin. Is it weird I'm telling you guys before DH Hmm?

OneLittleLady · 05/09/2013 18:28

Yay, go you sleep Smile

foxysocks · 05/09/2013 18:45

well done sleep!

shopafrolic · 05/09/2013 19:43

That's great news Sleep (the one you told us about?). Well done!

santamarianovella · 05/09/2013 19:47

hello!,lots going on.
queen you look stunning in both dresses, but i agree with shop the blue suits you best, its such a lovely color on you, great body too!

one it sounds painful but at least it will sort your shoulder problems, hope it goes ok Flowers

amber love your comment Grin,
she is a piece of work that one!,and the funny thing is, she is on the board of several fundraisers, and comes from old money,so picking on an insignificant little thing like me is just very odd,

sleep congrats, hope your dd is ok, camden school scene sounds cool!

dry showering with cold water is torture!,good thing the weather is not cold.

mom well done on your workout,

marsha, fab outfit how did it go?

ani and mrsR both look awesome on the secret board,

kali the cut looks great, but its difficult to see the color.

umlauf great coat

shop your flooring sounds amazing,

i hope i didnt forget anyone!

we have limestone flooring in the hallway but the kitchen and the rest is oiled wood flooring or carpeted, last year we got a letter from the city saying that all central heating in our area need to be changed,it was a nightmare, and costed a fortune to remove everything and put it back, had to replace most of the fitted carpet. i dont want to go through this again!

QueenCadbury · 05/09/2013 19:50

No idea what your course is sleep but well done.

Tried both dresses on (again Grin). The blue one would or ever annoy me with the creases and i'd be paranoid about my bum at least until 2 glasses of fizz. The westwood feels totally special (even though i did need dd to help get me out of it!) and so I've decided I'm keeping it. I hear you all breathe a sigh of relief that the search is over. Not so fast though ladies, you have to help me style it now!

In return for all your help maybe the evening mu should be at my 40th Grin

QueenCadbury · 05/09/2013 19:51

Would forever annoy me. Not or ever.

OneLittleLady · 05/09/2013 19:53

I love that you've chosen the westwood queenC you look a total fox in it and I'm sure it will look even better once you're properly glammed up for the evening in it Grin

Annianni · 05/09/2013 19:56

Congrats Sleep.

Forgot to say that I asked about the cashmere in Gap and the lovely sales assistant said that they have it all upstairs, that it's really nice, great colours and styles and that they were keeping it upstairs until the 30% discount has finished Sad

santamarianovella · 05/09/2013 20:01

queen, although i love the blue on you, its good that you went with a dress you feel great and comfortable in,

Annianni · 05/09/2013 20:03

I tried a dark grey crombie style coat in Gap (not online) which was nice but the fabric was a bit rough and it was double breasted which didn't work on me.
They also have it in camel.

I tried the grey knitted biker which is nice.
Will try the navy in a smaller size another time.

shopafrolic · 05/09/2013 20:03

Can anyone PM the actual code for the GAP discount as opposed to the email itself? I'm trying to get some work trousers of DH and the website keeps hanging when I try and click through to get my code......... Grrrrr

Anni and QueenC I've been on my Pinterest and checked email but nothing! Confused

QueenC haven't seen you in the dress, cobalt is a fab colour but at the end of the day you need to wear something you feel comfortable in. If I don't feel sure about something, it doesn't matter how much people say it's ok, deep down I just don't feel right...think this is often about more than the hairstyle sleep or dress QC but about how we view ourselves from deep inside.
BLOODY hell....I sound like Mig, all wise....not like me, must be the Wine Grin

Went to pick up my door handles today. Was looking at some door knobs and said to the very nice chap helping me "I do like knobs"...............neither of us said anything, trying to remain composed, just a little Smile on both our faces.....I said "no!" Grin geez there's no helping me!

shopafrolic · 05/09/2013 20:11

Scrap that - order has finally gone through. Sorry.
