Another fan of Sandro. Also an honorable mention to Heimstone, Zadig & Voltaire, Comptoir Des Cotonniers and Vanessa Bruno. And the Kooples (adore my Kooples skirts)...

AmberNectarine · 25/08/2013 21:28

Ooh yes, I'll add Maje and Sandro.

libertychick · 25/08/2013 21:30

At last count I had 23 scarves Blush. I feel naked all summer without them Smile

shopafrolic · 25/08/2013 21:36

I struggle with scarves. I love them, but I only really wear one - my Mulberry feather print. I buy lots, but get limited use. Probably need to knock that addiction on the head....
but I love this

I love scarves and have really missed wearing them in this heat. Have had to console self with weaving them through bag handles.

I dread to count mine. I have three McQueen skull prints alone, two mid blue, one white. Current favourite is an Edina Ronay pale lime leopard print silk cotton. I have A Yves Klein blue and white strip silk wound around the straps of my vintage Cerruti suede tote here. The scarf's an old JPG.

libertychick · 25/08/2013 21:46

That's very pretty Shop. I need to throw out some scarves - mine are mostly cheap and cheerful (primarni, H&M etc) and I tend to get fixated with one and wear it to death. The Gap scarf is viscose and I had promised myself that this autumn I was going to buy something more upmarket in better fabric but the colours were too lovely to pass.

I love this MBMJ scarf that Linus has.

MrsRadicchio · 25/08/2013 21:47

I love this scarf but don't really suit them myself. Love the print on that one.

I was psyching myself to buy this sweatshirt from atterley road (with 20% off!) but it sold out in the meantime Angry

MrsRadicchio · 25/08/2013 21:49

Oh just realised the scarf is out of stock - I had hoped Liberty would buy it Smile

libertychick · 25/08/2013 21:50

Is that the Edina Ronay one you got in TKMaxx Mig? My favourite scarf last year was a lovely wool pink polka dot scarf from a Scottish brand I can't remember the name of (they mostly do golfing clothes Grin). I'll probably wear it a lot this year too as it's very light but very toasty.

libertychick · 25/08/2013 21:52

That's lovely MrsR - I would have been tempted! I need to get to Liberty soon and have a browse through a good selection of them.

libertychick · 25/08/2013 21:53

What a shame about the sweater MrsR

mignonette · 25/08/2013 22:00

Liberty - well remembered. TK Maxx is great for scarfs. They had loads of T M Lewin and Ballantyne cashmere ones last Winter. And Valentino, DVF and Calvin Klein. All for under £24.

Love the Paul Smith MrsR. Just beautiful.

Drywhiteplease · 25/08/2013 22:01

I'm home! And it's sunny...and I've done all my washing pathetic to be so excited about that, but hey ho

MU outfits pound great....

linus good Sunday night question. Not sure I can answer though. I guess for me anything grungy, masculine, shapeless and a bit out there.....

But I'm going to stick my neck out and say I like a lot of VB's dresses, don't care whether she designs them or not, if I had the job and cash I'd be investing and this autumn there are a lot of less corporate/House wives of Beverley Hills dresses that I'd love (if I had the cash)

I've never really got excited about DvF sorry

Agree that Pucci and Versace look a bit WAG.

I'm interested and surprised at what's been said about Stella. I've never really got her and hate plastic shoes although I think she looks stunning in this beautiful piece of tailoring thought you'd all love her because she's so cool.

I guess I would not buy grungy, shapeless, masculine or anything too out there.

Amber I actually love Prada and MuiMui. Missonni in small doses ( scarves in TK Maxx were all synthetic)

And I love Henry Holland's hair!

Libery plenty more stories.........at the MU I'll tell you my red wine storyWink

P.s is anyone just itching to get buying A/W or is it just me? Always happens when I get home rom summer hols.

libertychick · 25/08/2013 22:03

TKMaxx has some oversize wool 'Moschino Cheap and Chic' scarves in this week - navy and black for £69 - looked great quality, horrible label though - I'd cut it off!

Drywhiteplease · 25/08/2013 22:03

Ooh I really should read my contributions before posting!

shopafrolic · 25/08/2013 22:04

Welcome home Dry. YY I'm longing for cold, sunny, crisp days now.

OP posts:
libertychick · 25/08/2013 22:07

I'm itching to wear my jumpers again Dry. I like MuiMui too but alas way out of my price range.

MarshaBrady · 25/08/2013 22:07

Yes can't wait - fresh, sunny and crisp. Some new clothes to go with it.

I love Stella M stuff, just not the plastic. Maje, Sandro, Bruno and Celine how could I forget (again!).

MrsRadicchio · 25/08/2013 22:10

Do matches send out discount codes? Have just registered with them, and they are selling my sweatshirt!

I am looking forward to wearing AW clothes too.

MarshaBrady · 25/08/2013 22:11

MrsR what a shame about the sweater, perfect for you, bah!

shopafrolic · 25/08/2013 22:12

Only if you're a regular shopper MrsR (which I'm not!)

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 25/08/2013 22:12

Xpost! I don't think they do. Not until sale preview.

MarshaBrady · 25/08/2013 22:21

Do they do regular ones, not sale preview? I don't get those either.

shopafrolic · 25/08/2013 22:22

Brilliant chat on here tonight ladies. 26 degrees tomorrow so the legs may be out again......

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 25/08/2013 22:24

Yup. There are presale ones knocking about I think. Novice has been a lucky recipient in the past, and Decam from memory.
