Nice one Decam that's a deal :) Will you make the MU?
There is something clearly wrong with the King?!

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 30/08/2013 10:38

Grin at king Cadbury!

He even prefers the 'old lady' jumpsuit. Maybe he's worried I'll look too fabulous in it. However my 11 nephew has just concluded that the dress must be 'rubbish' if it's reduced from a grand to 300!

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 11:38

Just saw a guy at our Dry Cleaners in the village drop in a pink and red striped Oswald Boateng suit (sp?) with orange shirt and multi coloured tie. Turns out he's a musician and plays at Ronnie Scotts each week - very fancy!

QueenC kingC may need glasses! Wink.... I think VW dress is a classic.
Had to get changed....bit sweaty in Sainsburys! Gigis back on....think £1.50 CPW by now.
Shop I ordered the Kitchen Dresser Co brochure when you mentioned them the other day......am now swooning and wondering if I could sneak one into the extension without DH noticing no bloody chance, eagle eyed

Sleepwhenidie · 30/08/2013 13:45

Smile at your shopping savvy nephew Queen!

Last day of hols today Sad. I am not looking forward to the long drive home.

DH has pretty good taste but he's not to keen on my Preen sequin print trousers and when I occasionally wear this dress he crosses his arms on front of him and starts doing Greek dancing, hysterical Hmm.

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 14:20

Lol Sleep yeh dh does something like that with one of my things. Can't remember which one but am sure it is just as hilarious.

Your holiday pic looks gorgeous. Safe journey home.

santamarianovella · 30/08/2013 14:48

Grin sleep dh makes silly comments about my clothes all the time, safe trip home, good thing the weather is great,it was windy and raining the last couple of days of our stay there.

queen I love that vw dress, don't think about it too much or otherwise you will be sick of your bday dress before getting a chance to wear it Smile.

All this talk of Cambridge...

I was there yesterday (bit of a trek for me, but I love it). It's the only thing I miss about Newmarket, apart from my lovely friends, of course. DD2 and I spent a challenging hour in John Lewis trying to buy trainers. Waited 40 mins to even get served, then nothing was right - wrong size, wrong colour, only had them in lace-ups yada yada yada. They didn't have skirt, sweater or shirts in her size, everything seemed to be aged 11-12.... Left feeling v stressed with 4 pairs of tights, some pants and a pair of PE shorts, so went to console myself with fudge from Fudge Kitchen Grin.

While waiting I saw 2 women (not together) who stood out in an understated chic way - simply dressed but stylish and cool-looking. Both were French. Make of that what you will.

Have had fashion successes and disasters recently, but off to do chores now, so will pop back tonight (racing again this eve) to discuss.

LinusDKD · 30/08/2013 18:31

Bonsoir!

I don't know if you've seen the topic in S&B but Asos is selling Becksondergaard scarves at ridiculous prices.

asos

But I am being good and not buying anything so my shopping ban is still intact and none of the scarves would suit me

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 18:32

foxysocks · 30/08/2013 19:03

hola lovelies!

I survived Grin. am home, had HOT bath, lying on sofa with glass of champagne.

I can barely move. SO happy though. this week was aces. and this morning my teacher told me I am getting much stronger and he wants me to go to india for minimum two months Shock so he can teach me some more advanced yoga. so I need to get a grip on spending and work out logistics for next year.

am still over the moon with my recent purchases. the boots are delicious and the cos dress is a dream. I am not on a ban, but I am definitely moving into a mindful purchase period for the coming months. not to say I won't enjoy all your links and chats despite limited spending!

LinusDKD · 30/08/2013 19:10

That pink jumper is gorgeous dry!

foxy welcome back. I am joining you with a glass of champagne as DH just opened a small bottle.

Just out of interest, what's the sizing like on Topshop Baxters?

OneLittleLady · 30/08/2013 19:21

Link isn't working for me dry

Welcome back foxy sounds like you had a really good time

Have cheekily linked DP to the scarves on ASOS, he said he was looking for ideas after all Grin

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 19:48

Chinks glass with Foxy. So pleased dress and boots are fab and make you happy. And thrilled the week worked out despite the tumble - happy times. Still want to meet you one day.....x

LinusDKD · 30/08/2013 19:57

Of you go to dry's pinterest page you will see the jumpers.

Soooo tempted to break my shopping ban to buy some Baxters I pinned ages ago. They are in the sale and my ideal size is still available.

OneLittleLady · 30/08/2013 20:03

What's going on with Pinterest today? Odd Hmm

Foxy glad you're feeling ok and that your week went well. Missed exactly what you were doing. Was it a yoga for instructors course? India would be for your teaching or because you're a yogi or something (black belt? Wink )

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 20:22

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 20:33

No issues with Pin Dry

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 30/08/2013 20:39

Love that colour shop I don't think we have any Chanel concessions here, well, I've never seen one anyway, so will have to go further afield to investigate their nail colours. Fancy a trip to meadowhall anyway, I'm sure one of the department stores there will have a concession, they have just about everything else I could want.
