Love that nail colour shop

carrie74 · 30/08/2013 20:42

[waves] Hello All

shop have PMed you.

Foxy glad it went well.

My H HATES me in maxi dresses. Unfortunately for him I bought two M&E versions this summer (and he reckons the ruched one is "ok"). Other than that, he dares not comment (although grinned when I surprised him in my wedding dress on Saturday night after we'd got home from a wedding. I wasn't at all tiddly, oh no).

Cheese wise I like a nice Cornish Yarg (can only be said with a good West Country accent).

Scuttling back to check on some links...

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 20:50

Carrie did you get the racer maxi? I was scared of lumps and bumps. How is it?

Nice nail varnish shop!

I bought some dark varnishes queenc pinned and I can't wait to wear them when the weather changes.

I am still looking for a deep green/teal/emerald Essie varnish called Going Incognito but I have yet to find it in the shops.

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 20:55

The Essie is nice. This is more sludge coloured! :)

Shop nearly there Wine. So close! You made it. Love that Chanel colour. Would almost sway me to do mine.

Foxy well done! Great to have you back. Love the Cos dress and the boots still.

Linus really glad you got them.

Carrie how funny!

I have a shoe situation. I need to wait a couple of weeks but my Whistles flats are kaput. Really dire. And I could wear others with a bit of a heel but I find it annoying sometimes. So will see if I can find a standby pair in Liberty tomorrow. Can't spend a fortune as need to still wait those two weeks.

May as well swing by Burberry and check out the peacoat offering.

carrie74 · 30/08/2013 20:57

Yes, last years's racer maxi shop (Bargainous). Lumps and bumps good: the jersey's thick enough and the skirt part skims nicely. I wear with a chunky belt over my tummy too for Extra security

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 20:59

here with international delivery
Let us know how Burberry goes Marsha - was thinking you should try the boots again, they may have had feedback from last year and adjusted sizing?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 21:03

Oh yes those! Will see if they have them. But they are a bit arduous. I get unduly cross with difficult shoes. Grin

Have a voucher at Liberty they I need to spend too.

carrie74 · 30/08/2013 21:04

Ooh love Mysterious shop. I've become slightly addicted (ok VERY) to my local salon for regular Gelish polishes. Last winter (aka the longest winter EVAH), I rotated their very few non pink/red/mauve. What I lovingly refer to as the sludgy colours no one else will wear. It's become a bit of a running joke now. Apparently they've bought a new greige for me to try, but in summer I like lighter shades, so am holding off...

Marsha am confused: you can buy another pair in two weeks but need to hold off for now, but will buy a stop gap pair in Liberty?

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 21:04

that

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 21:06

Carrie clear as mud huh? Grin I can buy my real winter boots in two weeks but the flats I'm wearing are holey. And very bad! So I just need something a bit cheaper until then.

I could wear the Lanvin wedges but I don't know, I'm not crazy about wearing them every day.

So I'm without flats atm. And this bugs me!

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:08

Looks almost black

OP posts:
carrie74 · 30/08/2013 21:08

Ah, ok. So they'll still be good shoes, just ones you won't get much wear out of again until Spring? (Fingers crossed still for an Indian Summer...). I would DEFINITELY not want to wear Lanvins every day either Grin

LinusDKD · 30/08/2013 21:10

Oh thanks shop Flowers

Does anyone have an easy step-by-step guide to do a manicure? Warning: I am impatient and clumsy.

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:15

for Marsha

MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 21:16

They will be early Autumn shoes. And the others will be deep winter. Grin

And I've got to admit I get by on so few shoes each season it will be nice to have some options! Plus I wear them out too quickly.

The other ones will be chestnut pistols (I know) or even knee high riding boots. Or something, had better decide.

The ones tomorrow could be Edelman boots if they don't make my feet look huge.

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:16

for Linus

Looks like you have lovely nails shop mine are terrible, they break off on my left hand because of the CRPS so I have to keep them pretty short on both hands to minimize the risk of them snapping off and hurting. I like your rings as well shop

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:18

sexy boots

shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:19

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 30/08/2013 21:21

See how I sucked you in on the chestnut Pistols Marsha ? Grin

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 30/08/2013 21:23

Ooh thanks Shop yes around that budget. Fabulous, think the Stella ones are my favourite, shame she doesn't do leather. Up to £150. I've just got to check out the Edelman boots first. Think they might make my feet look too big.

The molded heel is weird on these don't you think?

Haha Shop I'm right behind you (coat and pistols) Grin
