Think!!!! Not "honk"!!!!!

MrsRadicchio · 29/08/2013 21:55

Mine is a Toast maxi dress that DH referred to as my cassock. I only wore it the once.

Dry that is hilarious about your Victorian phase.

(My fave cheese at the moment is Castello Blue)

OneLittleLady · 29/08/2013 21:56

You're not the only one who's a bit scared terrified Dry my tickets came yesterday and I've hidden them in the drawer so I don't panic too early on about travelling so far on my own

MarshaBrady · 29/08/2013 21:58

Haha at cheese question. Maybe honk was right for cheese Grin

Fabulous. Really looking forward to our mu. We need a venue!

Love these answers.

On cheese it's Parmesan finally sliced with peeler onto salad.

shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 21:59

Do BabyBels count? Grin

Have briefly looked at thread but saw that dry has also booked tickets for mu. I am so excited to be finally meeting so many of you!!

shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:03

What time are you all heading to London? And what's the plan?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:06

Dry PM

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 29/08/2013 22:08

My train gets in at 12.45pm at Kings Cross. I would be most most grateful if someone could meet me there at the station though as I don't know my way round London at all as, truthfully, I've only ever been 3 times before Blush and each time I went with someone who knew their way around.

shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:12

What are your plans QueenC?

Drywhiteplease · 29/08/2013 22:16

I'm getting in 11.30 ish ....have train back at 5.50.

Roquefort
Brie de Meaux (at room temp, nice and runny)
Epoisse....ditto, walking off the cheese board
Like my cheese strong and smelly Grin with a good red and Nairn's oat cakes. I love cheese!

OneLittleLady · 29/08/2013 22:21

my favourite cheeses are tescos extra hot mexicana cheese and roule, god i love that stuff on crackers

OneLittleLady · 29/08/2013 22:22

Oh, my train home isn't til about half seven that night but once I've got my bearings, I'll be ok if everyone leaves before me, I just about know enough to get myself back to Kings Cross if nothing else

Drywhiteplease · 29/08/2013 22:22

I have 5hrs in London.....I'd like lunch and fashion talk. wine?

MarshaBrady · 29/08/2013 22:24

Me too Dry. I'll definitely be back on the prosecco this time!

McNally · 29/08/2013 22:27

DH rarely comments on what I wear so can't think of anything he hated off the top of my head. I'm sure there are things he doesn't like but not sure he'd dare say it! It would be nice if he did express a view sometimes though.

On cheese - Brie or mozzarella I think. Tough question Dry!

shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:27

Sounds perfect Dry
No idea how many of us there'll be but sounds as though we'll need a big venue for lunch? QueenC how many of us will there be? Excited!

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:29

Serious point on the cheese- really over ripe runny brie or Gouda (Dutch rellies)

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 29/08/2013 22:33

And thanks to Vin Thanks for the lovely compliment. Smile

Mm cheese. I could have something nice right now. When I was younger I imagined opening a cafe that only sold crusty bread, cheese, espresso and red wine. Clearly the imaginations of a student Grin.

shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:36

Nooooooo let's do it. We can call it Vogue, and have back issues and moody photography on the walls. Great coffee, sticky cheese. YESSSSSSSS

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 29/08/2013 22:39

Mig will you be at the MU?

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 29/08/2013 22:39

My perfect meal would be a fabulous cheese board and some great red wine. I'm easily pleased...as long as its good cheese! Gave up cheese and wine for 2 months last year ....it was hard but effective .
DD is named after a famous city.....we've always said we'd take her there when she's 18.
DS wants to do a cheese and wine tour of France for his chip off the old block there Grin

MarshaBrady · 29/08/2013 22:39

Haha yes! Need to add champagne et al as I can't not have it and good music. Moody exactly and Vogue. Love it.

Drywhiteplease · 29/08/2013 22:42

Marsha genius idea! I'll run northern branch of "From Vogue"/ "Chic cheese"/ "fromages à la mode"/ "Fromages à porter"..............
