Marsha my love of tartan coats is well documented here! Still love the one on Atterley Rd but by next year it'll be so passé I don't feel I can risk the ££££££

I emailed them shop they aren't getting any more 12s in. Not sure whether to go for a 14 or try to forget it. I have spent way too much in the last few days since joining this thread but totally love Atterley Road and their not only free overseas postage but free international returns as well!

shopafrolic · 28/08/2013 20:33

Oh and you've all inspired me to have a chat with our builder about updating some of our outbuildings!

I quite like a it of slouch in a sweatshirt Umlauf - might be worth a try.
It could hang off your shoulder in a Mig kind of way Grin (old thread joke sorry)

Atterley Road are brilliant umlauf! (I live abroad as well)

santa your coat is very similar to the one I linked, it just has a belt.

OneLittleLady · 28/08/2013 20:38

My train tickets arrived this morning. I'm already planning my ipod playlist and trying to work out how grungey I can go without disgusting you all Grin

MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 20:40

I still love your Ganni one Shop. I prefer it to the Stella M one I saw.

I'd get your one. I do love it. I keep seeing it around in magazines etc.

MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 20:41

And the price of that Stella one makes me feel a bit better about the Ganni one!

LinusDKD · 28/08/2013 20:45

one 20% off that scarf you linked yesterday!

OneLittleLady · 28/08/2013 20:45

ooooh, I shall have to take a peek linus

shopafrolic · 28/08/2013 20:54

Try OFFER20 at the checkout on AR. The email says it's for bags but I reckon it'll work on anything - even the coat Marsha :)

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:00

An offer would be ace on the coat. But a 12 is not right, gngn

I was just thinking if I got a classic navy peacoat, I could do something a bit more out there, if I don't wear it every day.

Also I have to wait a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll find it to try it on whilst I'm waiting.

MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:00

Will you get something Shop?

Get the scarf One!

OneLittleLady · 28/08/2013 21:04

And it is bought!! I do love a good scarf!!

LinusDKD · 28/08/2013 21:07

Oh well done one!

LinusDKD · 28/08/2013 21:08

marsha I pinned this peacoat last week:

peacoat

shopafrolic · 28/08/2013 21:09

No Marsha I'm unsuccessfully not spending at the moment (just the two tees today!)
DH has said I can have the knit (if I find it) for my birthday (Nov). So am keeping an eye on the Outnet in the hope that Vince one comes back in stock. And I think I'm going to try and save for the black and chestnut Pistols......

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:12

Lovely Linus, thanks! I'm going into Burberry to check out their peacoats this week too and revisiting Liberty to be sure on one I saw. Am compiling and refining a list, will add that one too.

Shop good idea. Do you mean both pistols, black and chestnut? Way to go!

MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:13

And I'm noticing an awful lot of stuff has sold out already. Grr not good.

mignonette · 28/08/2013 21:16

Hi all. Umlauf Am excited about your nuevo bebe. I feel like an honorary aunt Smile. Good for you to have that road trip. Did you get to the NW coast? That's my ambition to do the Camino. Yes my Spanish teacher friend weeps when she talks of what her pupils will be leaving school to face. Part of the reason why I am raging against Jamie Olivers blinkered romantic ideas about European culinary status/poverty etc. I am so angry and upset w/ him.

Linus What a difficult question. I love yellows especially the 'odder' hues. I like greys especially w/ primrose yellow, pale blue and camel; olive greens and khaki's with reds; camel with pale blues; reds and pale pink. I am a colour girl.

There are no colours I ban outright although possibly bright bubblegum pink is a no because it seems too girly for me and can look 'flat' if not the right depth of dye. I love ochre w/ purple but it has to always be specific shades of a colour. I tend not to wear black close to my face but will wear a low round neck. No polo necks or black scarfs and i don't have a black coat. I go for dark grey or navy. Tan doesn't look good next to my face either. I wear silver and gold in colour. I probably look hideous because i never really consider what my 'colours' are but other people have said that clear aqua and turquoise cast a nice light on my face and make me look well.

Shop my 'From The Back' pinboard kind of riffs on the off the shoulder dip towards ones DH!

shopafrolic · 28/08/2013 21:19

God no!!! I'd have to remortgage
these

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:20

Aha gotcha Grin

MarshaBrady · 28/08/2013 21:20

Very nice btw.

shopafrolic · 28/08/2013 21:21

I think stock holdings this year are even more minimal. Not sure it'll be an option to wait for the sales if there's something you love
