Sounds good One. I do like fishnets.

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2013 15:55

Gorgeous Sleep.

Linus I think you are Celine and Lanvin.

I won't put my pins as links as feel I am imposing my style too much in it all, am sure you all know what you like!

libertychick · 26/08/2013 16:16

Marsha I love the 3 looks you have linked for me especially the third one - that bag is gorgeous.

Amber I always go shopping for DD and her many cousins when I am trying not to shop for myself!
QueenC that dress is a beautiful colour and great neckline - I agree with Mig that getting it adjusted for you would make it extra special - what length is it on you?
Will catch up better tonight - DD's TV allowance time is up and tempting as it is to just let her keep watching I had better not Smile

santamarianovella · 26/08/2013 16:20

sleep that iro jacket is on my WA list! Grin, the pomellato dodo line is very pretty,I love the Capri line, but thought it was so expensive,
I was a saint when I went to the celine store,as DH said if you like it,then buy it! But honestly as pretty as it was,i need something with straps.

mig you are right, airport shopping can be very bad.

mignonette · 26/08/2013 16:21

One I see you as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and a little of the Oscar De La Renta 'Infanta' style dresses w/ the tight waists and wide tulip shaped skirts to the knee, very womanly and in strong rich colours.

Here, here, here, here and here. This is lovely too as is this.

i would also put you in Carolina Herrara. This coat is you as is this dress and this dress.

Finally This flared Miu Miu skirt and the feminine designs of this house would suit your curves as does this coat with its belted waist and New Look style. This diagonal striped long skirt worn w/ a belt and balanced by a blouse with decent shoulders and a heel would suit you.

AmberNectarine · 26/08/2013 16:24

Argh Marsha, that Maje top is plaguing me - I saw it on a girl last Sept, really wanted it, you linked that pin for me, then it was in Vogue More Dash Than Cash and sold out everywhere! Still love it!

MarshaBrady · 26/08/2013 16:28

Yes One, what Mig said.

Santa sounds gorgeous.

Amber it's very you!

mignonette · 26/08/2013 16:28

Or you could put a forties style sweater over that stripey Miu Miu skirt if you wanted to disguise your tummy-for all of us with PMS too. Those sweaters/cardigans with a gathered deep knitted welt at the waist are very very good at streamlining the abdomen.

Sleepwhenidie · 26/08/2013 17:02

Completely you Amber!

Am Grin at Marsha telling DH to take the kids away so urgent mnetting can be done. Reminded me of conversation I had not long ago with DH regarding the course I am looking at doing, it's 10hrs per week. DH commented with a Hmm that that was about equivalent to my mn'etting time and I couldn't disagree Blush.

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2013 17:10

That's very me mig very much me. Grin

mignonette · 26/08/2013 17:31

RemusLupin has a Junya Watanabe black tulle kilt skirt on her Pin that i would put you in too One...

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2013 18:00

Tulle kilt sounds interesting, I shall look it up

LinusDKD · 26/08/2013 18:05

That Watanabe tulle kilt is seriously nice!

shop this is the Maison Scotch dress I saw in a shop window and thought of you. It looks quite plain in the picture and sadly there is no picture of a model wearing it, but it looks like a very versatile dress for A/W

dress

And it 100% cotton!

Catch-up once DS is in bed.

Drywhiteplease · 26/08/2013 18:22

Weird.....I bought exactly this blouse from River Island in the spring....how can Matalan now be stocking it? I've seen this before Hmm

mignonette · 26/08/2013 19:40

Dry Such a pretty blouse. The lace would look lovely peeking out from underneath a grey sweatshirt.

Do Matalan sell over stock?

shopafrolic · 26/08/2013 19:48

Waves to all - just seen a fab A&W coat on my Outnet email need to have a browse.
Love all the links, Marsha you've been so busy! Love what you chose for Sleep, MrsR and Liberty especially (obvs because I've met them) and I love the tiger tee for Amber I think I've pinned that to at some point.
Sleep high street would be Whistles, although I'm struggling with their fabrics ATM. High end for me would have been Anna and the Dressing Room (not high end for some I know), but a certain someone may have shown me the light with Matches and Liberty this weekend! So if I pick a realistic one for me I'd say the DR.

MrsRadicchio · 26/08/2013 19:49

Just worked my way through all the links. Marsha you are so right with your pins for everyone. I like mine and had pinned one of those already. I like patterned trousers and plain tops too.

One I see you as Rick Owens and Comme quirky.

Do you like this skirt?

Queen FWIW I prefer the jumpsuit to the dress. Think the jumpsuit is so chic but also a little bit of a leftfield choice, fresher, more exciting, kind of "keep em guessing" vibe!!

To answer Sleep high end high street for me used to be Whistles, though I am annoyed with their lack of natural fibres. So instead it would be chinti and parker. Low end high street - can I have charity shops? Love scouring those for bargains.

Margaret Howell is a designer I like too, but v pared down and I think suits more straight up and down shape than I am.

I love this blazer

AmberNectarine · 26/08/2013 19:56

High St for me is Gap/Uniqlo, High end high st is Maje.

shopafrolic · 26/08/2013 20:01

Linus I love that you wandering past shop windows thinking things might suit me - it's fab Thanks. Hard to tell with that dress, not sure about fringing? Would love to have seen it on a model........

dry I had the exact same thing happen to me a couple of years ago.

I bought one of my favourite dresses by Theory in London and a couple of years later I saw the exact same dress (same cut, same fabric, same colour) in a Swiss department store as part of their house brand.

I did a double take when I saw it and went to check the label and the price tag

santa you have more willpower and sense than me, going into a Céline shop, seeing a bag you lust after and not buy it.

marsha I really like Céline and Lanvin but I'm not sure they are suited for a life of baby food, baby snot and baby poo. Grin

mig DM might have been adventurous with her own clothing but was less openminded when it came to my choices as a teenager.

When I did grunge (well, grunge lite) she was not very happy and there are a whole list of things she refused to buy me when I was young. Hightop Converse, Dr. Martens, Sebago boat shoes, Timberlands etc spring to mind.

shopafrolic · 26/08/2013 20:03

great Theory leather leggings on the Outnet - similar to the ones Marsha and Sleep linked

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 26/08/2013 20:10

Gah!!!!! this would have been great! but wrong size

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 26/08/2013 20:29

Shop did you see the Vince sweater I linked for you the other day? It was on Shopbop iirc.

shopafrolic · 26/08/2013 20:33

No Sleep sorry, I must have missed it - I would have replied. Will try and find your link......
