Fingers crossed novice.

I think dh has the safety aspect in mind and even wonders if you are all women Grin.He just doesn't get that there's no way any of us would go to so much effort linking stuff and chatting clothes if we weren't really into it! He's currently submerged in a film and can't understand why I would rather talk about bags Grin.

BrandyAlexander · 21/08/2013 21:20

Linus, the last time I saw a house I liked, I was pregnant so dh said no way.Smile

If we get the house, I have told dh that the double dressing room is all miine! No way, am I sharing!

QueenCadbury · 21/08/2013 21:20

shop I've never met you so have no idea whether black would suit or not but I love your wardrobe on pin and do wonder whether black would fit in with everything? You just have such lovely colours that all seem to go together.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:20

Same here QueenC. DH is watching the second half of some Batman film. I was on the iPad last night while he watched it, and tonight I could remember where he'd viewed up to but he couldn't! Us women sure can multi task!
My DH made me text him on first MU to say you weren't all psychos!

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:25

That's the problem QueenC if I do wear black now it'd have to be black top and jeans, or black and black......
It's like saying goodbye to an old friend. I still have some 7FAM black cords, some coated skinnies, a Whistles tee, numerous silk / going out tops, shoes, boots and a black cashmere sweatshirt from DI last year. If any of you are size 12/14, tall and suit black you'd better be nice to me - there could be some good stuff heading your way!
I also used to like to think if myself as being a semi edgy dresser. And edgy is difficult without black!

haha am glad we passed the text to the dh Shop Grin.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:30

Thank god for that 5th bottle glass eh? Grin

LinusDKD · 21/08/2013 21:35

Maybe a silly question, but who suits black?

I think I'm a winter (pale skin with a lot of red in it, green eyes and brown hair with a tiny bit of red in it) and I think I look nice in black, but maybe I'm deluding myself.

Doesn't it also depend on the kind of black?

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:35

(Obviously we were pleasantly tipsy, and cool as cucumbers as ever.)

OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 21:35

I keep wondering if I dress too young for my age (I'm 30) and if I should change my style. I really don't look my age at all though, I'm frequently asked for ID and/or refused age restricted products and services. I was once, at age 28, told I wasn't allowed into the sex toy area of Ann Summers!

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:36

You sound like you'd suit black Linus.

I don't know much about colours, but I always think that when Anne H does the make over bit in TDWP she looks amazing in black / Chanel. Hang on will find a pic.

OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 21:36

I suit black and it has the added bonus of making me look slimmer Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:40

in black

And all here. Looks amazing in black.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:44

I think she's a winter which is why it works?

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 21/08/2013 21:45

I suit black although it does look better if I'm wearing strong eyes and lips to match which is why I tend to wear it more in the evening now. As I've got older navy/grey are definitely more flattering for me.

shop have you been on the autumn thread? hooefully always manages to look edgy yet doesn't wear black. I wear black and don't look remotely edgy Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:47

Plus love the blonde + black Shop's Chanel.

dark blonde

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:48

I think Julianne Moore looks better in colour than black. As she is so delicate in colouring.

I don't mind it, I used to wear it much more when I was younger, but then I was younger! I have one dress left really and some black suede wedges and knee high boots. I'll keep all those.

LinusDKD · 21/08/2013 21:53

She does look amazing in black.

My hair is not as dark as hers and my skin not a creamy and nice as hers. I refer to my skin as straciatella skin i.e. white with lots of skin moles.

Yes, I know, I am gorgeous Wink

OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 22:00

Just popped a picture of my bad self on my profile wearing black for you all to cast judgement on whether it suits me or not Grin

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 22:10

If I can't work out whether it suits me I stand no chance One! Lovely pic tho. :)

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 22:12

Smile thank you shop

LinusDKD · 21/08/2013 22:13

I think you do.
Nice décolleté btw Wink

OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 22:15

Blush I do have cracking norks to be fair Grin and not a wrinkle or hint of turkey neck in sight!
