I've pinned loads of pencil skirts after looking at that Matches top 10, some really lovely leather ones as well.

Shop I do love leather leggings but only on other people.

one that is a really pretty bracelet (and I am not really a skulls person)

QueenCadbury · 21/08/2013 20:34

Dh and dd just asked me who I'm chatting to. Dd finds it hilarious that you have names likes novice and ambernectarine. Dh is very Hmm that I'm meeting you all in October!

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:38

Has anyone read the HoC trend report for AW1314? I really like the way they show catwalk images related to seasons. Very helpful........
You can register to download it here
Am quite tempted to do their style day one day, not sure if they'll have me if I got my colours done elsewhere though......
Held some black tops up to me today, really not sure :(

I'm trying to see if I can wrangle a train ticket to come to the MU but it's looking tight finance wise so it may not happen this time but we shall see

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:44

This Saturday One or Oct?

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:46

My DH doesn't get it either QueenC but when he sees how pissed happy I am when I get back from MUs he just lets me get on with it :)

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:46

Linus out of interest, why not on you?

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 20:47

The Oct one shop

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 20:48

Dh is used to it now, I've been to so many. He gets a bit grumpy if I laugh too much like I did the other night chatting away, what was it some thing funny.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:53

Cool, I would have changed the booking if you were joining us One. Still waiting to see if I can make Oct - it's looking hopeful.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 20:54

Marsha have you done leather leggings or a skirt yet? Any plans to?

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 21/08/2013 20:55

shop because I am short and chubby slightly overweight.

I have to admit I had a leather clothes phobia for many years (thanks to DM who wore some corkers in the '80 when I was a child) but I am looking for a leather pencil skirt for A/W so I'm slowly getting over it.

OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 20:57

I'm a teeny bit afraid that I'll look like the 'poor relation' at a MU. You all sound so glamorous and I'm not even a tiny bit glamorous! You'd be lucky if most days I've actually brushed my hair Wink

MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:02

I am edging towards the idea Shop. Trouble is it's all so ££ that I usually need something else first.

I pinned this T by Wang skirt the other day. It would have to be on sale.

Leather leggings... I don't know. Drome are nice. I like the black band at the top of those. But then when faced with leggings or a Burberry mac say, I know what I need more.

Would you wait for the sales, or go for it now?

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:03

I bet you'll walk in looking like Sophia Loren and surprise us all One

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 21:05

Grin shop i so wish that could be true but I look like a scruffy teenager!

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:06

Not sure Marsha I worry about knees in the leggings? Won't they go baggy. A skirt could be easier but I'm still it confident in skirts and dresses yet........ Am scared if I leave it to the sales it'll be too late, but if they're only good for this season then it's too much ££££££ for me anyway.
Novice keeping everything crossed for you

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 21/08/2013 21:09

I'd love to try leather leggings but I'm afraid that my big bum would just look like a sofa in them Grin

BrandyAlexander · 21/08/2013 21:10

Thanks Shop, maybe I should get all my a/w spending done before house purchase and dh tries to batten down the spending hatches!

Marsha, you would look lovely in that skirt.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:13

small sizes but bargainous

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 21/08/2013 21:13

Those leggings are gorgeous marsha! I wish I had the legs to wear them.

novice ooh putting in an offer for a house and then waiting to see if it gets accepted is so nerve wracking! This time last year we bought a house and it was one of the most stressful times of my life. (I was heavily pregnant with DD so maybe slightly more emotional than usual)

Fingers crossed!

shopafrolic · 21/08/2013 21:14

Mavericks for under £90

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 21/08/2013 21:14

Ah thanks Novice Smile, definitely get in with the a/w stuff, I'm sure we can help you Wink
