You're welcome Foxy! They are addictive though. We pretty much got the whole range as wedding gifts and we have added to it. I really want this vase for our hallway flowers but have visions of the dcs running into it so resist. Having said that they never touch any of the flowers or plants around the house so I should probably just get it.

We got ours through John Lewis but I have just spotted it on http://www.kingsandqueens.org.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=15260 this site as 20% cheaper

Caja, I try to avoid boxes etc! I do a list and then steadily and methodically work through. I get a real sense of pride as I cross of each one.Blush

Last year, I sorted out 3 holidays on my sort shit out day, the summer (literally about 2 weeks later), Christmas and Easter holidays for this year. Dh had a near heart attack as I stuck £20k on his credit card and he didn't know I had done itGrin I might actually tell him this year!

santamarianovella · 11/08/2013 16:54

foxy i do it sometimes, but then i feel guilty,i know, im weirdGrin.dh is away too,and im glad i have my mum with me for the next few days,it makes things a bit easier.
love the sunglasses,im looking for new ones too, loved the mirrored ray bans paris linked, but dont have the courage to wear them!

novice glad your DD is better.

caja good luck!

shopafrolic · 11/08/2013 19:14

Waving to all. I'm here and am drinking my way through it! :)

foxysocks · 11/08/2013 19:51

you go shop!

i have a fridge full of wine and champagne - DH did one of his big stock ups a few weeks ago - but i didn't feel in the mood for it this evening. maybe because I am so tired and have baaaaad period pain (sorry if tmi). later in the week I shall def partake of a cheeky glass and maybe flex the CC a little more Wine

Sleepwhenidie · 11/08/2013 20:05

Hi everyone it's been a busy week chez Sleep, DH's birthday on Tuesday (had a lovely dinner and night away from DC's near Oxford...dropped DH at station to go into London the next morning and managed to summon Herculean willpower not to stop off at Bicester on the way home - kudos please Grin). DS1's birthday on Friday and had a load of family round then the kids camped out in the garden with their cousins and DH, had a great time building a campfire, roasting marshmallows etc. Now at in laws but off to France first thing tomorrow, where Internet access will be intermittent Sad.

I have tried to keep up with the thread as best I can-welcome to the newbies, good luck for the new job Caja.

Foxy we have Villeroy & crystal flutes that are usually about £30 each but always reduced in Selfridges seasonal sales, which is when I pick them up for about £15-£18 each. Btw did you see my q about Lululemon workout tops and how they fit? Hope your DH-less week goes ok.

Shop good luck with stressful in laws, don't get too hammered Smile. loving the Gucci jumper by the way...not sure about the cocoon coat though, it would suit you, great colours, but do you think you may get bored with the pattern?

Last purchase update for a while, the Greek sandals arrived and are gorgeous. H&M dress is vile Sad. JCrew neon cardi definitely too neon and going back Smile.

shopafrolic · 11/08/2013 20:17

Kudos Sleep and yes I think you're right about the coat...... Happy belated birthday Mr Sleep. Shame about the H&M dress!

foxysocks · 11/08/2013 20:27

oh sorry sleep I must have missed that!

i think they fit a bit small. my Y tank is a US4 which is only wearable on a thin day! am a UK8 usually, although have a few 6s from all saints and whistles, and a few 10s in other brands.

however my lulu crops are a 4 as well and they fit fine so it may just be the Y tank. which tops were you looking at? did you know they stock lulu in triyoga chelsea - you could always pop in to try on?

mignonette · 11/08/2013 20:33

Foxy We have these Conran Strata glasses made for Wedgwood. They are pleasingly heavy based although I too brick it whenever we use them. I also have the larger vase in the same style. It is currently full of Boule De Neige, Reine Des Violette and Lady Hillingdon Roses.

However I have a love of Champagne Coupes and have these LSA ones. They are fine as long as you drink the Champagne quickly. They are particularly good for Champagne cocktails and good for swanning around in a la Daisy Fellowes.

Novice feel better soon, DD and yourself.

Sleep Have a wonderful holiday. I love France. There's a reason why it is the most visited country for tourists in the World.

OneLittleLady · 11/08/2013 20:37

Evening ladies, no shopping to report unless you count buying a build a bear for one of my nieces Grin

Apologies for possible TMI but does ANYONE have any natural as possible remedies for PMT? If I didn't know better I'd swear I was dying here and because of my all my prescription meds, there's not a lot of over the counter stuff I can take Sad

I'm still hunting for THAT tulle skirt so keep 'em peeled ladies, I must have one for the start of a/w!!

LinusDKD · 11/08/2013 21:01

I'll try to have a proper catch-up tomorrow but just popping in to say that we've got these champagne glasses.

Very simple but I like them a lot. As I am super clumsy we decided to put 24 Blush of them on our wedding list and they were all bought by one very generous person.

We do use them regularly but for 'everyday' use we have some simple glass champagne flutes.

Oh, and good luck tomorrow caja

shopafrolic · 11/08/2013 21:03

Riedel glasses come up in SecretSales and the JL sales quite a bit.

QueenCadbury · 11/08/2013 21:44

No time for big catch up but foxy have you thought of Bristol blue glass? I got dh a couple of wine glasses for his birthday last year from the shop down by the BRI. I went for clear glass with blue stems as I thought it may be a bit odd drinking out of blue glasses.

Sleepwhenidie · 11/08/2013 22:08

Thanks Foxy I was looking at a top on eBay and it was a size 4 so I was hesitant, rightly so it sounds! There was much shock at my bra size being 32D/E but I have googled a bit and it does seem usual for weight training to increase back size (as I suspected), although not cup size Sad. Will definitely go for a US6 at least and will go and try a few before buying any eBay ones Flowers.

Annianni · 12/08/2013 07:36

Morning...

Just been woken up by the postman coming to collect the Massimo Dutti parcel.
I've not been up this early in ages! :o

Had to go to the door in my robe (looking hideous) as I sanded the floor yesterday (which looks lovely, but I have never been that dirty before in my life) and I'd let my hair dry by itself, without even brushing it... So I resemble a wild woman.

Oh dear...

Hope you have a fab holiday Dry.

Annianni · 12/08/2013 07:45

I'm rather envious of Mig's champagne coupe's.
My aunt has my grandmothers, and they are fabulous.

She let me use the few remaining ones for our wedding.
And I spent the day terrified that they would get broken.

I'd like to buy some nice glasses when we eventually get round to doing the kitchen.
My glasses at the moment are either from m&s or habitat.

I'll try and catch up with links now.

Annianni · 12/08/2013 07:53

Love that lace top Decam.

Good luck today Caja.

Lovely grey pilage Foxy.
And the glasses.
Hope the dc's give you an easy day.

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2013 07:56

Just a quickie to say

Lovely shopping Foxy.

Good luck today Caja.

Shop one night down.

We have very pretty ones from a small shop in Paris. It was one of those first purchases you do as a couple which make you feel grown up and I love them. Sadly some got broken.

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2013 07:57

And love that lace top Decam, very pretty.

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2013 07:58

Anni that is one early postman!

Annianni · 12/08/2013 08:00

Great dresses Novice.

I bought some mirrored Rayban's a couple of years ago Santa, but I ebayed them after only wearing them a few times as I felt like a tit in them. :o

Hope you're ok Shop.

Have a nice holiday Sleep.

One, agnus castus (sp) is supposed to be good.

Annianni · 12/08/2013 08:02

7-15 he arrived Marsha, I was not amused!!!

Luckily Ds2 is still asleep, so I could get back in bed for a bit.

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2013 08:05

Blimey! I feel bleary and unkempt just reading that Grin

Sleep have a great holiday.

Novice love that dress, great discount too.

Decameron · 12/08/2013 08:07

Good luck today, Caja.

Bonne vacances, Sleep!

That's a lovely colour Le Pliage, Foxy. I need a new one as the corners are all frayed on mine, may get that colour too.

Thanks Marsha. I do keep thinking of the Boden harpies comment and laughing.

Those glasses are beautiful, Mig. We have John Rocha for Waterford Crystal, we use them all the time, I like to drink my plonk out of nice glasses! I broke a red wine glass last night, annoyingly.

Anni, I met my very good looking neighbour earlier while I was putting out the bins in my pajamas (Ralph Lauren from Bicester outlet, at least!). Blush

mignonette · 12/08/2013 08:13

Anni Looking like Uriah Heep for the postman is my speciality too Grin...

Caja Good Luck! Imagine you must be feeling very nervous/excited.

One I would recommend chatting to your Doc about this. I'm a bit guarded about recommending anything in case it muddles your meds. The only thing I can suggest is looking at diet and exercise maybe to help with any bloating and mood issues. Try cutting down on carbs or bread with wheat in, building in alone time with walks somewhere nice, a good supportive bra (even if it is a bit bulky looking) to manage painful breasts. How about trying Yoga? I have heard it can help with the mood side of things.....Or meditation, mindfulness all of those techniques? There are natural diuretics available but again, check with your GP as they can affect some medications and how they concentrate within the body.

Shop How is it going? Have some of this to go with your wine!

mignonette · 12/08/2013 08:22

I forgot we have some every day Laura Ashley acid etched Venetian style glasses for every day use too. They are absolutely beautiful and I am not allowed to wash them up or put them away because I am so clumsy. I am amazed that I have been told I give a good injection because I am so clumsy in everything I do apart from nursing and gardening. Mind you I am extra careful as always worry about hurting people.

here they are. The photo I have found is not a good one but they are very elegant and I know similar styles are still sold there and often on sale too.
