Ha ha - Herbs - I did one of those with Boden and it recommended me the dresses that I expressly said I didn't like - I think it was trying to wind me up.

Crem - one of my best mates lives in NI. She sounds like you Smile. Keep posting on the universities as we'll be going through the process with you - DD1 looking at law for 2014 entry. Scotland seems terribly far away though for us.

Note to everybody - I also follow the exact recipe - would not dare to disobey Nigella. MI how do you make your fudge icing?- Quantities must be involved somewhere!

addle · 14/06/2013 13:41

thank you, mi, yes #12 online

gulp, herbs

but i've pressed the button so we'll see...

alto1 · 14/06/2013 14:04

Yy to Glasgow, niece v happy there.

MrsS good luck with i/vs and even better luck with delegating admin to DH. In this house that's equivalent to filing in the bin.

Wilbur Grin at your modus operandum in the kitchen. I can't seem to do anything without at least muttering these days. Dog and cat cover for me a bit, can pretend I was talking to them. If you hear I've been picked up for shouting at pigeons and directing traffic will you come and bail me out?

Heading to London for a 'career consultation', hoping for help to think about getting out of this miserable rut.

herbaceous · 14/06/2013 14:05

Actually, it turns out it was showing me clothes it thought I'd dislike. It went on to show me things I'd like. Which, frankly, weren't much better.

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 14:14

Oh God, MI, they look far too lush for the gym buffet/discoGrin

Off to see the Marksies virtual shopper thing...

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 14:15

I think it's 100g dark choc, 25g butter and a spoonful of golden syrup...

Why do you need to be shown what you don't want, eh? You know what you don't want. It's what you want that you want, innit

I am marking for something. I've just marked someone I slightly know...but haven't seen since I was a first year at university and she'd just been born Shock. I am generally feeling, it must be said, that turning 50 (Fifty! Fifty!) has suddenly plunged me forwards into utter geriatricity.

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 14:22

It came up with a load ofempire-line maxi dressesConfused

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 14:24

And said it didn't have anything suitable in the two other styles (one was 50's which I do love, despite having no bust)Confused

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 16:47

Can I just recommend the BHS bras Grin

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 16:48

I mean the Debenhams

Stropperella · 14/06/2013 17:29

Dd and I have been Debenhams bra wearers ever since MrsS recommended them. They are most excellent. Sadly my chest appears to be shrinking due to too many press-ups, but I am pretty sure I will be able to remedy this with a surfeit of schnitzel, beer and sachertorte next week as we are off to Vienna.

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 17:43

DD1 - whose chest expands daily atm - is swanking around looking blissfully happy Grin

Stropps, I am dumb with envy.

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 17:49

Stropps, that sounds great!

MrsS, how did it go today?

addle, will have a look-see at the jeans!

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 17:53

They look good, but all out of stock in my size. Not that I need any more jeans. Or any more clothes at all, really!

Stropperella · 14/06/2013 18:06

One of our clients has offered us her flat while she is away on her hols. She hasn't given me a lot of work over the last couple of years as she has been busy having babies, but she is now officially my bestest client evah.Grin Have also managed to secure authorised absence from school for both dcs,as they are having (v.expensive) German lessons and will be going to lots of museums and palaces. Yesssss.

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 18:29

Oh wow! Enjoy!

hattymattie · 14/06/2013 18:37

Stropp's you lucky thing. Have a great time.

Thanks MI - off to copy your cake for Sunday. Wink

Stropperella · 14/06/2013 18:49

bigTillyMint · 14/06/2013 19:30

What is it Strops?

Stropperella · 14/06/2013 19:46

I have a Google Nexus 4 and it is - as they say round here - proper lush. Grin And yes, the data roaming is already switched off. I had a Samsung Galaxy Ace before, but it was a bit too basic for dealing with work stuff and I found the screen too small for my old lady eyes.

Stropperella · 14/06/2013 19:53

I have to say I don't particularly like selling my soul to Mr Google, who can now track my every move. But I fully expect to be filed in the database marked "Boring middle-aged Europeans who do cack-all of interest".

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 19:55

I have a vodaphone deal by which it's just an extra three quid a day in Europe Grin thanks to Mr Inferior.

motherinferior · 14/06/2013 19:58

And I have checked my recipe and yes 100g choc, 25g butter and a tablespoon of golden syrup. It's pretty foolproof really - I just mike it all together and pour it on!
